Aspects Of Everything

Post by God Of The North » Fri Jul 06, 2018 9:09 pm

Between 13 and 14 billion years ago, there was an event that most educated people are well aware of. This event is commonly known as the Big Bang, and it is credited with having created, or at least begun the creation of, the Universe itself.

This is correct to an extent, however it is not the full story, by any stretch of the imagination. The specific details of the event are, as one would imagine, exceptionally sparse, but bits and pieces of information have been gleaned by certain individuals through history. Some of that information has been recorded, while some of it has died with those who learned it.

According to these individuals, there was existence before the Big Bang. There was an entire universe, with life and planets, and stars. This universe is known as The Before, and it was ruled over by a godlike creature known as The Entity.

The Before existed for an unknown amount of time, possibly decades, possibly centuries, possibly eons, but it eventually came to an end. The Before was brought to an end by a second creature known as The Other. The Entity and The Other did battle, and it climaxed with the two combining and then the two detonated. The Entity and The Other could not coexist as one being, and so they rejected one another in the most violent way possible.

The detonation resulted in The Before being reduced to dust and plasma. The powers from The Entity and The Other were too great to be destroyed by there mere destruction of their hosts and the end of the universe, and so they endured. They lingered for billions of years until finally planets formed, and life returned to the Universe.

Humans were, at one point, not evolved enough to harness the power of The Entity and The Other, but in time they grew and matured enough to handle the power of these godlike existences. Some of the most powerful men and women in history have been hosts of these powers, and humans with these powers have been given the title, “Aspects” due to the fact that most humans can only withstand one of the various pieces of The Entity’s and The Other’s powers, or one Aspect of their being. Kings and Queens, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Moses, Genghis Khan, Augustus, Marcus Aurelius, Adolf Hitler, Napoleon Bonaparte, and others have wielded these powers, and some have used them for their own selfish desires, while others have had other purposes in mind.

Over time, factions formed among those who wielded these powers. There were those who wished to combine all of the powers to recreate The Entity in an attempt to create a new Eden with all life guided by the Entity, who went by the name The Aura.

There was a rival faction, which went by the name The Flux, who wished to oppose The Aura, and prevent the return of The Entity, as they believed a life ruled over by an All-Powerful, apathetic entity is a life that is not worth living, as they would be nothing but puppets, guided by an entity who cared nothing for them.

These two factions have existed nearly since the point that humans have gained the ability to wield these powers, and they have warred throughout their existence. The World Wars, the Mongol Conquest of Asia, Rome’s Expansion, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and many other famous wars have been driven, rarely entirely, but at least in part, by the conflict and hatred that exists between The Aura and The Flux, the lingering war between The Entity and The Other.

And so we have come to modern times, and the war that has raged for billions of years has found new warriors in a new time. Which Aspect do you wield? Whose name do you fight for? What is your desire? All of these things, and more, shall be revealed in the Eternal War.

This is a remake of a roleplay that existed on the site some time ago, before there was a wipe. That roleplay was created by GoldBlockIngot/Diamante. I have altered the roleplay in a few ways, but the original idea was created by Diamante.

CS

Name: Ramos (Real Name Ramesses II)

Age: Between Three and Four Thousand Years Old

Gender: Male

Personality: Ramos

History: Ramos was born a few thousand years ago in Ancient Egypt as Ramesses II. He was one of the first wielders of an Aspect, and his Aspect was the Aspect Of Fire: Ignis. For Ramesses, as an Ancient Egyptian, he had no idea what this power truly was during the time he was discovering it. He believed it to be a blessing from Ra, the Egyptian Sun God, a symbol that he was truly meant to be Pharaoh, and so he began to refer to himself as the son of the Sun God. So strong was the connection between Ramesses II and the Ignis aspect he possessed that the two became intertwined within his very soul, making Ignis something more than human. He believed himself to be a demi-god, and that was not technically far from the truth, seeing as he had become intertwined with the essense of The Entity.

Ramesses ruled over Egypt as the greatest Pharaoh for more than half a century, but eventually he was was confronted by an enemy, the wielder of the Aspect of Water. The two did battle for close to a week without pause, and the battle eventually reached its climax with Ramesses being severely wounded defending his people, as his enemy attacked them, knowing Ramesses would have no choice but to defend them. Ramesses, although he believed he was mortally wounded, refused to fall until he struck down his opponent. He eventually succeeded, and he collapsed in the sands besides the Nile River.

He was mummified and entombed for centuries, however his bond with Ignis was too strong to allow him to remain dead. The mummification process did slow down his regeneration, especially the removal of his brain and other organs, but eventually, close to three hundred years after his death, Ramesses II lived once more. He burst from his tomb in the form of Ignis, a massive phoenix, and he departed from Egypt, knowing his time as Pharaoh had come to an end. He began to wander the world, gathering Aspect Wielders to his side, and he reformed The Flux, and he began to wage war on The Aura. The two factions did war many times through the flow of time, but eventually Ramesses and the Flux were defeated and the ancient Pharaoh was entombed and imprisoned at the bottom of Lake Baikal.

He was imprisoned there for more than a thousand years, and his wardens were the Aura, especially generation after generation of Aqua Aspect Wielders. He was freed by the Flux roughly a decade before modern day times (in RP) and he has since retaken his position as the “King of the Flux”.

Aspect: Ignis (Fire)

Powers: Ramos is extremely powerful, both due to his natural predilection towards fire as an Egyptian Pharaoh, but also due to the fact that he has had somewhere between fifteen hundred years and twenty five hundred years to master his powers. He is immune to any and all illnesses, although the powers of Venenum can cause him severe pain and weaken him to an extent for a time.

He can create fires at will, and control these fires, either using his fire as a weapon by expelling it all around him, or creating balls of fire or bolts of fire and throwing them at his opponents, causing them to detonate at will. Ramesses, as someone who had become bound to his Aspect, is a immortal, and will return to life whenever he is killed, although the time it takes ranges from only a few minutes to centuries, depending on the condition his body is in. He needs no food or water, and he doesn’t need to breath when he is in normal water, although there are exceptions to this, namely the effects of the powers of other Aspect wielders. He can become hungry from the powers of Fame, he can become sickened and weakened from the powers of Labem, and he can be poisoned by the powers of Venenum, but due to the fact that Labem is a stronger aspect, the powers of Labem affect him more strongly than the powers of Venenum do.

Likes (Optional):

Dislikes (Optional):

Strengths: Ramesses, over time, has pushed his body to the limits of the human body. He is stronger, and faster than a normal human due to countless years of training and developing his body, and he does not get tired like a normal human does after exerting himself, due to the phoenix-like nature of Ignis. He is a master strategist, he is exceptionally charismatic, and he is extremely good at manipulating others. Due to his time as a Pharaoh and the leader of Flux, he is excellent at seeing the potential in others and drawing it out. He is able to work many situations to his advantage. He is limited by the circumstances at hand however, and he can not work any situation to his advantage, as shown by the fact he has been killed before, and he has been imprisoned before.

Weaknesses: Ramesses is, as one would imagine, an extremely powerful individual, but he is far from invulnerable. He can’t die, but he can be imprisoned, he doesn’t need oxygen to breathe, but his fires often still do, and although he can ignore the need to breathe underwater the majority of the time, water that has the power of the Aqua aspect coursing through it can negate this. He is strong, and fast, but he is still human in those regards, so he can be bound by rock and metal, he is capable of feeling pain so he can’t just entirely ignore attacks, and his mind, although it too is immortal and will heal, is not entirely immune to the powers of Insanire, and as such he can be reduced to madness for a time.
