As chaos began to consume the members upon the top of the ship, the faint sound of running could be heard below. Down below a small figure was frantically making their way towards the top where the action was. The rapid footsteps would soon be heard coming from the door that connected the upper and lower deck. A brief second later there was a thud as whoever it was barrelled into the door. The door swung open and a small figure staggered out, tumbling over their self as they lost balance. One foot got caught in the other, and the person fell face first onto the ground with a thud. Josephine lay there for a brief second before quickly pushing herself to her knees, letting out a cry of pain as she clutched her face. “Owowowowowow that huuuuuuurt!” She stood up, before suddenly remembering what was happening. Looking about Josephine suddenly realised everyone was in a panic, uncertain as to what was going on. The small navigator ran to the edge of the boat and lent out, her eyes widening at how close the island already was. “Ah!” Jumping Seay from the edge Josephine quickly ran up to the helm of the boat where Luca was, clearly in a panic. “Lucaaaa! Why is the island so close already!? We were supposed to have turned right already, not right now!” Josephine was too much in a panic right right now to realise she wasn’t helping and that she could’ve been doing something more useless then bothering Luca.

Val grumbled audibly as the crew scrambled to save the ship. His displeasure was cemented when he spied Joseph trip out from the undercroft. With a clanking facepalm, the large man raised his foot up and stomped down, crashing through the deck's wooden floor. He landed below decks and was lodged slightly into the floor before he pulled himself up and out of the wood. He made a note to fix that later AND to chop Joseph for not even thinking to throw down the anchor on his way up. As the metal mountain of a man made his way over to the anchor release lever, his footsteps echoed through the eerily calm lower decks. It just goes to show the true serenity of a ship, even at high tides, on a crash course with an island, the lower decks still carry the serene feeling of the ocean, and the dulled lapping of the water against wood. The man finally reached the lever with his calm and steady gait and pulled the lever, releasing the heavy hunk of metal to splash into the ocean.

Luca's face had changed from somebody who was panicking to somebody who was having the time of their life. He had a big smile plastered across his face brimming with confidence. His crew had been doing their best to slow the ship down and all of that effort wouldn't be going to waste.

"EVERYBODY GRAB HOLD OF SOMETHING AND HOLD ON TIGHT!" Luca shouted over the crashing waves and pouring rain. The anchor had just finished dropping into the ocean and slammed against the sea floor.

The ship rocketed to the right, spinning quickly in the water and doing a complete 180 degree turn with the momentum they had from going towards the shore. All of Luca's calculations came to fruition in that one moment. He couldn't account for everything, but so long as Val had gotten to the anchor within the next 3 seconds everything still would have been alright. Alex slowing down the ship with her body and Maria raising the sails gave them an extra second of cushion.

As the ship was spinning the bowsprit, that's the large wooden pole sticking out from the bow in case you didn't know, smashed against another pirate ship which set off a domino effect of that ship hitting the one next to it and so on. All together 5 pirate ships were damaged by the Sandy Blue.

The Sandy Blue had stopped, completely turned away from the Island and in no danger of hitting the shallow waters.

"That was a close call, good work everybody!" Luca hopped over the railing and landed on the deck of the ship, cruising over to the hole where val had gone below deck from. "Good job big guy, come on back up! You can fix the ship later when the weather clears up, I won't have any of my crew getting sick from this weather even if they're made of parts!" Luca yelled down the hole before walking to the back of the ship. He looked over the edge to see a bit of ocean before the shoreline. If the devil fruit users jumped far enough they wouldn't have to worry about it, and everybody else could make their way on their own.

"No time to waste everybody, let's go get some nice warm food and cozy beds for the day. Hopefully this storm will be cleared up by the morning so we can set sail." Luca stood up on the railing and jumped off the back of the ship with strength. He made sure not to break the railing and landed in a roll on the wet sand of the beach. He kissed his Blue Medallion and tucked it away inside of his shirt before waving to the rest of the ship.

Monnie had to admit, he was impressed and proud of how everyone worked together. “Round of drinks on me tonight.” He shouted nonchalantly as he made his way to the edge of the ship. He simply kicked one of the ropes free and used it to gently slide down and onto the beach. “A shame we couldn’t get an actual port, sand gets everywhere.” He said more to himself than Luca. He took a deep breath and enjoyed the feeling of land. He looked at Luca with a smile and then back to the ship. “You did well, Cap! Keep up the good work.” He said with a pat on Luca’s shoulder, then he started to walk off slowly. His walk was very elegant with long strides. With his fiddle on his back, his gun on his waste, and his sword sharp and ready, he couldn’t wait to cause mischief. Maybe cause a few fights, maybe lay a few women, definitely drink too much. It should be fun. His hand went to his blonde hair and he brushed it back in a very suave way, despite nobody really seeing him do this.
“Oh death, you have chosen your hand. Now who will deal and who will die?”-Sin

Despite the previous panic, Josephine watched as Luca’s expression went from fear and panic to confidence and enjoyment. She sighed as her captain ignored her, merely looking surprised at hiss comment to grab hold of something. “Wait hold on to so- Woahwawawawawa!?” Her arms began to flail about like crazy as the ship jerked and swung right, spinning right round as the sails caught wind and the anchor struck ground. Josephine grabbed the first thing she could, which just so happened to be Luca, in which she clung to with all her might.

The next few moments were a blur to her as she clung onto Luca, eye closed and crying out in a panicked fear. She felt the boat spin, then a crash then... Nothing. She paused before slowly opening her eyes, letting go of Luca in the process. “H-Huh? D-Did we make it?” Josephine striaghened up and peered over the edge of the boat, noting they were successfully parked in place and ready for departure. A smile grew on her face as she watched Luca jump off the railing and onto dry land, finally reaching their destination. “Finally! We made it! Yes! Let’s go guys come on!” Josephine scrambled up onto the railing and jumped off, only to have her foot get caught in the railing and her jump abruptly halted. Instead she fell face first into the deeper part of the water and sank, the water bubbling and rippling where she had struck.

The skull pulled with all his might with Maria, bring up the sail just in time for the captain to yell. Unfortunately there was no time to grab anything besides the loose rope, so when the ship suddenly turned and rocked, it sent the two of them flying. The skull held on with all his might but the force was too strong...and he was flung into the sea with a splash.

As the ship settled the skull breached the water's surface gasping for air. Unlike those who were in the water before he could swim, and once he got his bearings back started for the shore when he remembered the other person hanging onto the rope with him. Sam quickly looked around for Maria, surely she couldn't be much farther out than him...unless she managed to hold on. Either way he'd never hear the end of it if he left her to drown for the second time today.

Maria felt the ship suddenly jerk to the right and then ram itself into other ships, causing her grip on the rope to loosen, which resulted in her getting flung off and landing in the sand. She grunted on impact and sat in the sand for a few seconds before slowly standing up and patting her dress to get rid of the sand. ”¡Oh Dios mío! I hate this.” She grumbled to herself angrily. Maria realized that her hands were feeling a bit too empty and looked around frantically and noticed her guns sticking out of the sand. She ran over to them and picked them up, blowing the sand off. ”Wait... where’s Joseph? Did he land in the water?” Maria asked looking around for the boy. Even if she saw the boy drowning, she wasn’t going back in the water to get wet all over again. She rubbed her face clean of her messed up mascara and placed her guns in their holsters that were around each thigh. ”¡Darse prisa! Y’all are taking so long!” She shouted at the group, turning on her heel and somewhat followed Monnie.

Julian slid across the ship as it rocked violently, trying his best to stand up but with nowhere to hold onto, he was struggling to find proper footing. “Will someone… PLEASE… STOP THE SHIP!
As the ship pulled a full 180 Julian flew into the air, grabbing onto a railing to keep himself from flying into the ocean again, simply praying that he didn’t end up flying away. Upon the crash he was sent fly back towards the ship. “Fuck! Someone catch me!
Let me take away your sorrows.

Awoken by being throttled out of bed certainly wasn't....expected. Luckily her thick blankets and pillows were enough to absorb the impact. Wrapped up tightly in the cocoon of blankets there was a heavy sigh. Sal's head was only just starting to clear up from the night before. Well looks like time to get a hit in while she cou-

Another heavy sigh.

Guess at the next port she'd have to get the bong fixed...again
Sal sluggishly unraveled the covers unmotivated to start the day. While laying on the floor she stared at the ceiling fighting the urge to just shut her eyes completely. Slowly rising onto her feet wearing nothing but her matching pink patterned pajamas and haired pinned in a blue head wrap Sal stormed out of her room. Her footsteps were heavy and aggressive. Sal burst through the door to the main deck.

"Someone better be dead! Because if not, someone will be!"

Sal shouted as loud as possible her body shaking from frustration. She stepped to the side to avoid Julien as he flew at high speeds.

Once the skull heard Maria whining he knew she was ok, and began to head for shore himself. However as he drew close something else caught his attention. Long Shot was sitting on the rail of the ship, looking down at the water. It wasn't where sam fell off...and maria was on the shore...did someone else go overboard?

"Jo. Man Overboard. Jo. Man Overboard."

Well that answered that question. Quickly the assassin swam over to where his bird was looking and dived, finding and pulling the clumsy man from the deep. He then dragged the clumsy sailor onto the shore and took a seat in the sand. As he caught his breath Long Shot flew to his shoulder and Sam smiled slightly.

"You ok?" He said to both his bird and the devil fruit user
