Well, it's mid-September now, and the POTUS is back at it again with the problem causing...
Dr. Christine Blasey Ford was allegedly sexually assaulted 30 years ago at a high school party by supreme court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Dr. Ford claims that the nominee had pinned her down, and started groping her. According to Ford, when she attempted to call for help, he covered her mouth to prevent that. She had suppressed these memories and been to therapists to help with the mental trauma, but 30 years later, when she heard he was being nominated to be a Justice in the Supreme Court, she sent an anonymous letter to the senate, informing them that he sexually assaulted her, and would need to be evaluated. She included great detail in this letter, to the point that they had to ask her if she wanted to testify against him. She agreed, although it would put her under heavy scrutiny. Kavanaugh denies all claims that he did indeed sexually assault this woman, and that he wasn't even at that party. Dr. Ford called for an official FBI investigation to clear up the facts, and to bring up nothing but the truth. The Republican party refused to allow it, and moved the hearing to this next Monday. Refering to not allowing the FBI investigation, Trump responded with, "The FBI doesn't do that sort of thing." Trump, being the president of the United States, has full power to order the investigation on his own. In regards to the hearing date, Trump stated that "If she comes to the hearing, and testifies, it will definitely be interesting to hear, but if she doesn't make it... That will be unfortunate."
Thoughts, anyone?
