Into the field Ginx entered, the doors creaking open slowly as his fingers peeked out first through the crack, and a green eye stared into the large space. He pushed the rest open and wiggled himself through the small space rather than opening it completely, then closing it behind him before he turned around to face the large assortment of recruits.
As they practiced and sparred with each other, did their rounds and did their chores to get themselves better prepared for the jobs and situations they would face in the city, Ginx's head turned quickly and he gawked at the way they handled things, thinking it was all a very big dance of some-sort that they must be practicing. They didn't practice like that back at home, not at all, though a Sidhe wasn't usually the kind of Fae to do military-like things anyway. They were the nobles, wizards and sorcerers of his world, not the guards and working men.
To the world here though, his glamour made him look like a simple half-elf, a fey of the most mundane quality without much culture to back him up, and so he bounced up curiously with a hippy-hop gait, his long loose braid bouncing behind him before he stopped to the side of the blonde-haired drill instructor, who seemed to have an air of authority, and looked up to him with a smile.
"Hello!" He said, and showed a fangy grin. "My name is Ginx, and I'm new! And I want to be the best guard you've ever seen, but I have to do these things first!" He started up as if the man did not know. "What do I do first, mister sir?"
Since apparently, being super polite was important to these folk. What was more polite than adding not only a sir, but a MISTER sir? Nothing! Or so he thought, but there was a big culture clash here, and he couldn't treat them like how he treated superiors back home!
