[OOC] Avasta: Return Of The Black Knight

Post by JoJoTheZombie » Thu Dec 12, 2019 9:00 pm

Here is the OOC, and just so we dont lose any of the information, ill be posting it here as well.

Map:

North:
As you would expect the farther north you go, the colder it gets. The northern parts of Avasta can get extremely harsh with high winds and snow.
To the East lies a very dense set of forrest areas, mostly filled with Wolves. Towards the very north east point sits a large cave with numerous sets on emtrances. Its contents are relatively unknown. It is rumored that Frost Trolls dwell in the area.
Towards the Central Northern part of the map sits a large mountain range that descends towards the center of the map. It is said that what few dragons remain stay high up im those mountain, where few dare to go. There is a lake nearby the bade of. The mountain, the Largest Lake in Avasta, The white lakes. The name coming from the snow that falls on the lake almost year round.
The farther West you go, the more flat the land becomes, untill you reach the coast, which turns into vast swoops of Hills and uneven terrain. Only the most bold of creatures travel in this tertiary, and some of the most deadly.

South:
The south is more of of a variety as far as weather. The east is much more Rainy and Marsh/Swamp based, while the West is maily dry and Desert like.
One of the largest rivers runs through the Easten part of the map, ending at the ocean farthest south. The Winding River. Along this River are various Villages and along with them, various life. Especially Goblins.
The center holds the most beautiful part of Avasta, The Great Valley. Home to more than a thousand different types of plants and animals. This area is relatively untouched.
The West begins to dry out, this area of the map seemingly more difficult for normal creatures to survive in. Only few dare go to the uncharted Desert of Avasta. As nobody has returned alive from its mysteries.

Cities: (Feel free to make your own up, on a small scale.)
Each city is ranked from 1 to 3 on size, culture, population, and wealth.

Triumf- The Captial City of Avasta, Containing the King's castles, home to everything good in Avasta. This is basically what you would expect from the kingdom city. Most entertainment events occur here. Located in the Mid West, ontop of a large hill.

Serin City- Another large sized city, their focus mainly on trades and craftmanships. Some of the best trade markets appear im Serin Coty. Located more Mid-East, opposite from the capital. Very rainy city.

Feilsboro- A southern town located near the marshes. This is where most will begin their journey. It is a cheap and simple town consisting of mostly hunters and farmers. There is an Inn and pub towards the center of town and a blacksmith who does low level weaponry and armor.

Parteese City- located more North/Central, about ten to fifteen miles from the lake. Wealthy nomads and honorable sorcerers inhabit this city. A lot goes on for it being such a small city. It contains one of Avasta's most vast libraries , along with the Mage's guild at the edge of town.

Id say just announce you are going to take it and have your character talk to the proper person or be in the specified location. The main quest will be mostly driven by one of my characters, so if you were to come in contact with him that would be fine. But the others generallt have instructions on how to get started.

My character Kieran is about to start the Lost Boy quest, thats how ill start him off, i plan on starting with a little action lol. The rest, feel free to explore than lands at your own risk.
