James Novak

Post by James Novak » Wed May 30, 2018 12:19 am

Everyone's always telling you to be humble. When was the last time someone told you to be great?"-An old wise man.

Legal Name: James Novak.

Mask Name: None.

Nickname(s): Vertigo.

Age: 25.

Height: 6'0.

Relationship Status: Single.

Allegiance: Himself.

Formal Education: Millennium University.

Degrees: Marketing Major and Minor in Graphic Design.

Occupation: Superhero Manager, App Developer.

Family: Estranged.

Yearly Income: $20,000.

The Physical Precision of the Perfect Man

James Novak has a total of 206 bones in his body, 14% body fat, and weighs between 175-180 pounds on any given day. Mondays through Fridays, he wakes up at 7 AM and runs two miles. After his run he takes a brief break and then proceeds to jump rope for ten minutes. Thanks to his rigorous practice, James can now jump rope without tripping on it. Once the ten minutes are up, he follows with pulls ups and then push ups. Both which he performs until failure. Instead of continuing this routine for the next set, he replaces the pull ups with dips and then keep alternating for about an hour. Before his post-workout shower, James masturbates for about twenty minutes to release stress and sexual tension

Novak follows this workout routine along with a somewhat strict diet. In the morning, he eats either granola with almond milk or oatmeal depending on his mood and about four boiled eggs with 30 mg of Adderall. For lunch, he eats 150 grams of salmon, 80 grams of brown rice, and a side of kale salad with another 30 mg of Adderall. Three hours later, he drinks a homemade vegetable protein shake (since whey protein causes breakouts), and he usually repeats what he ate for lunch during dinner time. He gets all his food at the Fresh Market, since he is passionately against eating genetically modified foods to the point where he's switched to a pescetarian diet. Throughout the day, James drinks about a liter and a half of water to ensure maximum hydration. This diet and workout routine is to ensure that James maintains the aforementioned level of physical fitness and to enhance his gifted mind.

James showers every day, but only applies soap every other day because it dries his skin. He shampoos and conditions his hair only two or three times a week in fear of thinning his hair. He cuts his hair for $25 every three weeks before it gets out of control and always tips 20%. Every two weeks, he goes to a different salon and gets his eyebrows done for $10 to avoid growing a uni-brow. To style his hair, he has experimented with gel, fiber, and wax, but has found pomade works best to style his hair, having the perfect balance between style and hold. Once a week, James places a cleansing face mask for thirty minutes to clear his pores. He applies body lotion every day, once after his shower and once before going to bed to treat his ichthyosis. He also uses gold bond to avoid moisture in undesired places and always wears deodorant.
The Style of an All American All Star

If one were to open Novak's closet they would find a collection of shirts in different colors with superhero logos on the front. Some belonging to the same superhero, but remixed versions of their iconic symbols. Some official, some unofficial. From Chevron's helmet, to a whoever the media have called the hero of the day. He often pairs said shirts with blue or black Levi's™ jeans and rolls up the bottom, because he doesn't like the bagginess of slim fit jeans and feels that he's too old to wear skinny jeans. Color matched with any of his twenty pair of Converse, this blend of clothes gives him what he describes as an "All American" look. To finish off the classic match of tee. jeans, and Converse All Stars™. He wears his only pair of black Ray-Ban™ wayfarers.

He's still awesome. I just love how everything so mundane is described with as much detail as all the superpowers.
