I hope my RP gets enough people to get everything to work how I want it to.

Is it wrong to fool your rpers into thinking you are doing one genre but are gonna do something a little more gruesome?
Not really. If they sign up for a premise, they are signing up for it all. By submitting a CS, they are accepting any and every plot twist that may occur once the RP starts; that includes a 180º turn in genres. If they leave because of it, it's on them, but it's not wrong.

What do you know, they might end up liking it even more.
Should you be lucky enough to balance the correct number of murdered babies with adequate hours of volunteer service at children's cancer hospitals, you'll end up Neutral.

I don't think so. In fact I think a little deception makes good for game mastering. One of the first ones I ever ran they thought was gonna be sword art online but they ended up with a psychological horror rather than a thriller as it became less of "you will die" and more of "you'll want to die" as they realized it was full of shadow government conspiracy and manipulation from all fronts.

I mean some players won't appreciate what you do and that's unavoidable. I speak of this gently when in fact I'm such a cruel reviewer of video games I've literally made developers cry lol. BUT...I can take it too. I know not everyone is into Saw movies and everything turning into a second year philosophy major circlejerk. I think as long as you can laugh at yourself and don't pull back and just keep going with it but be open to tweaking and making improvements 9 out of 10 times your players will love it.

With my character vault being so big, it's sooo hard to pick out a favorite.
Most powerful is easy. Psi and Xi.
But my favorite character I've ever created, it's a real hard call.

So I got into an argument just because I got creative in an RP, since the guy was obviously a munchkin, he claimed his vampire lord’s castle had magic cast on it to protect him from all magical forms of attack, so, I used gravity, in the form of dropping a decommisioned USSR satellite on the guy’s castle, no survivors, since even Vampires couldn’t walk off something like that.

I'm gonna leave this site for a few months after May.

So OF COURSE now is the time that I think of good RP concepts and character ideas. At the time when I can't use them. Fantastic.
