Jeb quickly, but quietly, made his way behind the deck. His thumb deftly flicked his rifle's safety, putting it into full-auto. Levelling it at the glass door, he watched as the zombies arranged outside slowly began their assault. Lumbering, unsure, yet definitely heading towards the hospital.

Sebastian flinched as a gunshot rang out. He scrambled for his gun and held the scope to his eye again. There were people inside the hospital, and it looked like they were trying to defend themselves. He wanted to help against his better judgement, but there wasn't much for him to do. Sebastian sighed as he pulled out a hatchet from his belt. This'll do.

Sebastian went down the stairs as quickly as possible and flew around the corner. He stopped at the doorway and looked at all the zombies. They were all sauntering towards the hospital, none of them paying mind to him.

Perfect.

Grasping the wooden handle tightly, Sebastian snuck up behind thebfirsr one in front of him and sunk the blade into its head. Blood splattered everywhere, covering the hatchet and dotting his face. As it collapsed, he continued to the next one, smashing their heads in wherever he went.

Jess continued on but couldn't hear anything anymore. She still had no idea where she was but pushed on. Maybe they could find some woods so she could read her aching leg. She needed a real doctor or someone who knew how to take care of her leg. She was pretty sure it was getting infected.

Jeb watched as the zombies wandered closer, unsure if he should do anything. All the zombie movies he'd seen showed that at the first sign of a human, be it sight or a loud noise, the zombies would swarm and get infinitely more aggressive. He swore, equipping his baton, and pulled his rifle off the desk. From where he was, he had seen another person come out of the building across the street, and begin attacking zombies. He couldn't sit idly by, especially knowing that he wasn't the only person alive in the hospital. "Girl!" he called out into the silence. "I'm going outside. Just wanted to let you know, I'm not here to hurt you! But, if I don't come back, you might want to barricade yourself somewhere!" Jeb glanced back at the glass doors, hoping that his shouting wasn't making it outside. Clutching his rifle in one hand, and baton in the other, he slid onto his chest and began an awkward crawl, attempting to stay low. The zombies didn't seem to notice his form, slumping through the dimly lit lobby. He made his way into the office just off the lobby, and peered out it. It seemed like the zombies were more interested in the light of the lobby more than anything, so Jeb slid the window open quietly, and stepped out. He slung his rifle over his shoulder; quietly walking up to the nearest zombie. Pulling his arm back, he resisted the urge to shout as he swung with all his strength. The black wood hit with a satisfying thump, and the zombies head spun around to face him. It's soulless eyes stared him in the face as it's head lolled back and forth. And then came a deep, guttural moan. Jeb inhaled sharply, and smashed it again. Then again. Another time, and the zombie fell over. He smashed it's skull once more, sending out a spray of gore. Breathing heavily, Jeb looked at his hands. They were stained with blood. His friends' and enemies' alike now. He fell to his knees, realization dawning. The old world was gone, and this was his life now. He slung his rifle, and opened fire, not caring if he attracted more attention. He simply wanted revenge, and he was to get it no matter the cost. Primal rage encompassed him, and a tribal howl erupted from his mouth as he bathed in blood, no longer caring if any humans got caught in the crossfire. The zombies frenzied, charging forth with renewed strength, and all fell to his rounds. A harsh clicking shocked Jeb back to reality. His rifle empty, he pulled his service pistol, then looked at the carnage around him. Dead zombies littered the parking lot, but more came from the surrounding city blocks. He couldn't see the benevolent man who was simply trying to help. His face was stained with blood, blood slowly being washed away by the tears that ran down. He spat, not liking the taste in his mouth. Globs of blood flew out, and he realized that his mouth had been open, being splattered with zombie blood. His hands shook as he lowered his service pistol, waiting for death to come to him. Waiting for the dead to claim him too.

Jess just wasn't sure she could trust him. Maybe she can try when this hoard left or was dead. She grabbed Aubries arm and dragged her into a grocery store. Which was the closest. She and Aubry began moving heavy things in front of the door. Then Jess slide down to the ground to rest her injured leg..

Kara woke suddenly, and sat upright with a jolt, which was strange because she was one of the deepest sleeper she knew of, but she took out the headphones she had fallen asleep wearing and got up, not bothering to check the time. She realized she had awoken to the sound of someone knocking, no pounding on the door, and stood to answer the terribly rude guest. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and walked across her fourth floor studio apartment to the door and looked through the peep whole. Nothing. Kara stood there confused for a second when she suddenly heard loud gunshots. She jumped at the noise and rushed to the window. Sure enough she could see small flashes of light coming from the direction of the hospital just across the street. 'What in the-' her thoughts were interrupted again by the return of the pounding on the door. Kara was less inclined to get the door though see as she had just heard the mass shouting, but approached the door anyway.
"Hello?" She shouted through the door, cautiously. The pounding continued and her heart rate increased. She looked through the peep whole in the door a second time and screamed, stumbling backwards. Shaking her head in disbelief she ran back to the window and out side she saw more of the creature which stood outside her door. "Zombies?" She breathed, panic stricken. She stepped out onto the fire escape and stared at the calamity outside, eyes wide. She could see a man standing in the midst of a field of dead zombies below her and watched as more began to gather. Dread began to sink in and, without thinking, Kara rushed into the kitchen, yanked open the drawer under the kitchen sink and pulled out the hunting rifle her dad had given her after she moved out. Back on the fire escape, she pulled the gun up, aimed and shot once, twice, three times, hitting nothing the first two times, she had never been the best shot, but killing one of the undead monsters with that last shot. The forming horde suddenly turned and began to clamore towards her building, and from outside she could hear the pounding on her front door grow louder again. 'Oh crap.' She thought, realizing she had unknowingly attracted the zombies to her apartment building...
Aww heck.

Brandon woke up in the middle of the street, in the middle of a hoard of zombies. The only reason he woke up at all was all the blood spilling over him from all the death of the undead around him. He realizes that he's in deep deep trouble if he makes a move right now. 'My life is at steak... no, wait... stake, you fat oaf, its stake, not steak... mmm steak...' he thinks to himself. His stomach felt like it hadn't been filled in weeks. He realizes that this is bad. Empty stomach = big noise maker. Big noise = certain doom for a certain man. He realizes that if he stays, he's more screwed than if he runs away, ignoring the gunshots and maniac, ax-wielding uber hero. He gets up and runs for it, going straight to the back of the crowd, staying as quiet as possible. He then has an opportunity to grab out the large spear he made out of metal scrap, and kebab some zombie brains. He spears a zombie, swings it, hits another few zombies, and the binding of his spear comes apart, snapping the thing to bits. He decides to say screw it and bolt, making a ton of noise. "I'M OVER HERE YE ZOMBIE BASTARDS!! GIMME ALL YOU'VE GOT!!!"

Kara watched in utter shock as the strange man whom she had believed to be just anouther zombie, began killing and jabbing at the monsters with his spear, then he yells and she can't help a laugh that feels totally out of place. As zombies start taking notice of him, they are drawn away from her and she takes the oprotunity to grab whatever bullets she had with the gun, a can of peaches and her water bottle, stuffing it all in her old backpack and scrambling down the fire escape ladder. Above her she hears the door of her apartment splinter as the zombie break in and she grimaces at the thought. As soon as Kara's feet hit the ground, she whips around and sprints off closer to where the man was standing, then fires a single shot into the head of a zombie shambling a few feat behind him, surprising herself that she was even able to aim enough to hit the darn thing.
Aww heck.

Brandon turns a quick, distracted glance behind him and sees that his plan is working. He starts to make more noise, attempting to draw more zombies' attention. He looks around and sees an almost-fallen pile of bricks that could barely be called a building. He stops briefly and grabs a cord from the ground, and ties a small, hooked piece of metal. His brain was working in hyperdrive. He would throw it, and pull the building down on the zombies when they passed. This would work. It had to work. If it doesn't work, he was most likely screwed. The people around him were screwed. The whole block was screwed if it didn't work. So he's going to make it work. 'This has gotta work...' he thinks to himself as he runs. He chucks the rope and it lands in the middle of the ledge on top of the building. He waits for the growing horde to arrive, and heaves on the cord with all his strength, roaring with as much force as he can muster. The building starts to tilt slowly, then collapses on the mass of zombies, cutting their numbers by at least 76%. He whoops in victory as guts splatter all over the walls, some getting in his eyes, and he releases the rope from the building and started using it as a chain weapon. The hook hits one zombie straight through the head, then it yanks on its skull, shattering it and spills its brain on the floor. He charges through the crowd, dodging left and right to avoid the many claws and maws of the undead. He passes them and throws the hook at a window, hooking it. He ties the other end to another one, just at the right height to clothesline the crowd. He sprints away, screaming at the top of his lungs, proud of his work, hoping he looks as crazy as he was.

An Olive drab colored Humvee came whirling around the corner not the standard Military issue no, This one has been modified slightly, Bars had been put in place over the windows and windshield to protect whomever was inside from what ever unholy things on the outside tried to get in. The tires Screeched as it come to a swift and abrupt halt seeing and hearing the commotion. 1st lieutenant Coyne opened the door and climbed out partially one foot still inside the vehicles carriage The other resting on the running board. The 5'5" blonde soldier glanced around casually. Pulling out a bull horn. "Ya'll need a hand here?" She asked with a soft chuckle to follow as she surveyed the situation at hand as well as studiously examined those who were obviously alive. "I'm US Marine Corps 1st Lieutenant Lisa Coyne." She said 2 fingers coming to her forehead in a salute. "There is plenty of room for everyone and your gear can go in the back." She added before slipping back inside the Humvee and closing the door awaiting to see if anyone was going to take her up on her generosity.
