Ambrosia silently looked around the room, her eyes reflecting what little light there was. She listened to the three bicker, and almost immediately got a bitter taste in her mouth. This was the CAT? Barely able to keep itself together, how was it suppose to 'combat terrorism'? Letting out another small huff of annoyance, she watched the new man step in. Presuming that it was the man the others were gossiping about, since they all fell deadly silent, Ambrosia couldn't help but giggle at his get-up. Her light-hearted attitude fell right away at the words 'slavery'. Her fists clenched for a moment, before she relaxed. Remaining silent, Ambrosia shuffled a bit so she would no longer be behind Einsly and The Stranger, her eyes looking over everyone else. They expected them to take down a Pro-Slavery uprising? Hell, Ambrosia didn't even know if she'd be let off the planet considering her current 'arrangements'.

"Huh. Well, that's a bummer," Mirmuse said, aware of the deep understatement in what they'd just said. They shrugged awkwardly, glancing at their new coworkers. The possible enslavement of everyone they knew and loved was a pretty heavy thing to have hanging over their head, but Mirmuse always thought they did their best work under pressure.

"So... we're going to try and take down a rebel group? Us on our own?" They looked at Ashton, widening a pupil quizzically. They weren't sure how good the footage was on his end- hopefully he could see their dubious expression. "I'll be honest, that's a pretty tall order. Are we gonna get like, backup squads and high-tech top-secret military guns?"

"Thank you for your concerns, young Eucharis..."
"You can't say that," the woman in red (presumably Samantha) interrupted, "You're technically less than a year old."
Ashton did what seemed to be a glare at Samantha and then looked at the contacts. Eisly put his finger up as if to add something to the discussion, but as if he read the boy's mind, Ashton replied with "It's a.. long and unnecessarily complicated story."
"Whilst supplies will be limited, we'll try and provide whatever aid we can in assisting the mission. However, that does bring up the issue of weaponry...
"We can't exactly supply you with weaponry, as we don't have the resources to supply both your and our forces with weapons. However, I believe you all have weapons of your own, and that should be more than plenty for your mission. We will also supply ammunition if necessary, as well as other money you can spend to help your goal."The woman in green added, looking down in somewhat solemnity. She seemed to be the diplomat of the group, which was necessary for an Anti-Terrorism force.
Thank you Mortimer and Faith. he bowed lightly to the two that just spoke before continuing, kicking his legs up on the side of his chair. "As for the group in question, we have heard rumors of an attack in Casino's downtown. The group is only small - only a few more people than you guys - but we reckon that you'll all be able to handle them.

Eisly looked in wonder at the sight that stood before him. He looked over to his companions and grabbed his weapon from his back. It wasn't too deadly in a fight... unless it was on wheels. Then it became a deadly tool of destruction. "Hey Ashton; why is your group called CAT?" he asked, smirking. It was a bit ridiculous that their name resembled a domestic, household pet.
Ashton merely chuckled as the two figures from before accidentally opened the door. "Dunno. Found myself to be more of a dog person in all honesty." he smirked, nodding over at the Luparis at the door.

Ambrosia pinched the bridge of her nose, letting out a sigh. "Good god we're going to die or end up as slaves." She mumbled, looking at her 'team'. So what, they were suppose to storm into this place, proclaiming that 'This is wrong!' and get them to change? She watched Eisly and Ashton talk, and she could already feel that headache coming on. What did she do to deserve this?

"So we just have to go out there and deal with them?" She asked, tilting her head in confusion. "Like, drag them to jail or deal with them?" She added on to her question. Ambrosia wasn't opposed to knocking some fiends heads together, but the idea of killing someone wasn't something she was too keen about. She wanted to keep those memories as far away as possible.

Despite the situation and reactions of the others in the group, Akello seemed fairly relaxed. She had a pleasant expression smugly presented on her face and listened to what the others had to say. Although she didn't remember any of their name's except for Ashton; she had heard the others talking about it before he entered the room. It wasn't her fault, Akello's ears seemed to prick up at the sound of gossip.
Chuckling lightly after the Dog comment, she turned towards. Seth, who had been quiet the entire time. What else did she expect from him?

"I've always been a dog person myself. Although you're obviously a cat person, right, Seth?" Initially the dark haired man turned his head towards her in a confused manner before she continued. "You're as antisocial as most of them!" Sighing, Seth couldn't help but smile slightly at her attempted joke. He did always enjoy Akello making a fool of herself.

"Anyway, I'm Akello. You may want to remember that name in case you need to scream it later, for help or... ahem... otherwise." This obvious joke was produced with a cheerful smile on her face. Once again Seth rolled his eyes, then said his own name.
"I'm Seth."
It seemed that he hated speaking to others, and soon he was back to avoiding eye contact.

Mirmuse buried their hands in their pockets, glancing at the shady-looking human woman. "Ey, c'mon- it might not be that bad," they said hopefully; someone had to keep a positive attitude here. "They wouldn't be hiring us if they thought we'd have no shot at all, yeah?"

They glanced significantly at the screen, eyeing Ashton and the rest. They kind of hoped that an anti-terrorism group like CAT would be competent enough that they wouldn't be knowingly wasting everyone's time by gathering them all up only to send them off to their deaths, but then their leader was apparently a literal infant. (Human infants apparently grew up pretty fast.) So maybe Mirmuse should lower their expectations.

"Looks like I'm not the only comedian here." Ashton chuckled, looking over the others before replying to Ambrosia's question. "Drag them to jail. If you guys kill them, it might have unknown consequences." he smirked as he looked over Mirmuse and smiled. "EXACTLY! You guys have as much chance as we have stopping them. We're just a bit busy, you know?"
"Of course the possibility of death is entirely real, but I doubt any of you will die. A minor group such as this is barely able to stay together without a true power."
"We know that they're after legalizing enslavement, but through what means?" Samantha asked before snapping her fingers. "If you guys find any supplies that THEY have, feel free to make them yours. Or if it's something like a base, arrest them and blow the base sky-high."
"We've sent the coordinates to The Stranger. Afterwards, he'll hand it all to you. Deal with the situation and your reward is simple; gold and freedom. Good luck, team."
With that, the message shut off.

Stunned silent, Eisly looked over the rest of the group. "So... do any of you guys also feel a bit nervous with this mission? I know it can't just be me." he paused, looking at the others. "But... I have literally nothing better to do. Plus, I feel like we CAN do this. It's not everyday that we get reached out to by a LITERAL Anti-Terrorist group." He looked to the Stranger and smiled."I'm in."

Mirmuse smiled hesitantly back at the hybrid, eyes bright. "Yeah, I'm pretty nervous too. But you're right! We all got picked for a reason! And I'm pretty sure that if I walked away now, I'd be kicking myself for it for the rest of my life."

Casino was a hard city to make it in, and while Mirmuse didn't regret any of what they'd done so far to work their way up... It'd be real nice not to have to worry about money, to be able to focus just on doing what they loved (making music) instead of having to practice in between shifts and in the dead of night as quiet as possible to not wake the neighbors.

Did something still seem shady about all this? Hell yeah. Mirmuse wasn't sure if they believed half the stuff they'd been told, but they weren't being asked to kill so if this was a set-up for something it was a really weird one. And if those guys had been legit, the fate of everyone they knew and loved possibly hung in the balance: they couldn't just walk away and hope someone else would deal with it.

"Lemme be clear though, I'm expecting to be really, really well paid for this," they added, eyes on the Stranger. "But you can count me in too."

Ambrosia sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I don't have too much of a choice. I'm in, I suppose." She grumbled, looking back to the exit of the dark room. She wanted out of here, and quick, before she got too agitated with everyone and everything. She shook her head, not quite believing everything she had been told. Why of all people, would they choose her? She was a decent shot, sure, and maybe she could talk her way in and out of things, but she wasn't qualified for such a job.

"I'm Ambrosia, by the way." She said, realizing only Eisly knew who she was. "So, what do we do now?" She questioned, turning to look at the others with a confused expression. They had just been told to go after a group of literal terrorists, but did they mean now? Or later?

"Puh-lease. I feel like I was born for this." Akello exclaimed, excited for the mission. It had been a while since she fought real bad guys, instead of the usual morally-grey people. Seth wasn't too excited, however it was hard to tell. He seemed to be happiest sitting around drinking with his friends, presumably. People didn't really know what made the dark-haired man tick.

"Besides, our chance of dying is always 100%." Akello gained a look from Sethula who obviously didn't approve of her talk of death. Although he knew that Akello was just trying to keep him entertained, Seth really didn't want to draw too much attention to himself.
"I'm not sure that's a good mindset." Seth responded, who was fairly embarrassed by Akello's outbursts. "I guess we should wait for instruction."
