"I'm fine thanks though...I'm going to go take a shower actually it's been to long since I felt something like that" she smiles and braces a hand on the walk as she limps back to the shower area. Looking over to the lockers against the wall near the showers she figured that there must be some civilian clothes from the former dead, so she'd be able to change into something after the fact.

Sliding down the wall, via her back, she unties and pulls off her boots and socks. The smell causes her to shake her head in attempts to remember when was the last time she actually changed clothes, it had to have been a good while, she nodded. Feeling a little bit of the pressure on her ankle fade away she stands while leaning on the wall and strips off her shirt and pants leaving her standing in only a pair of boxer briefs and a sports bra. Looking at her skin that was covered with clothes was a little embarrassing, but she figured that it was just her and Luna and they were both girls who'd care.

Honestly, though she'd care if Luna was walking around nude, but then again that's mainly because it had been a long time since she had last seen someone else. Shaking away the thought of a nude Luna she finally stripped off the last bit of her clothing and walked into the showers. Saying a small prayer she turns the knob of one of the shower heads and after a moment of nothing water begins to flow from the head, it was cold but soon warmed up and Zoe just stood there enjoying the experience after so long.

Luna silently nodded and watched closely as Zoe limped away towards the bunk room. She wanted to be extra sure her friend didn't need her spear or anything to help walk. Zoe had showed concern for her and she felt right showing concern back. It felt so weird...being near a person and not trying to scare them away. Normally if she ever came across people she'd scare them away or chase them out of her town. Those urges and feelings weren't there strangely enough when she looked over towards Zoe. Instead she felt warm and need to protect. A sigh escaped from the albino's lips as she looked around. If Zoe was going to take a shower then Luna he to turn the main water pressure back on.

Steadying herself and making sure she wasn't going to fall or something the young girl hurried down the hall. Her legs and body were wobbly but moving then helped get rid of the stiff feeling her panic had placed in them. Moving past the bunk rooms she snuck a glance over towards Zoe who was in the middle of taking her clothes off. Her turned away for an odd reason..She remembered something from the old world about privacy. People liked that right? Luna didn't care, her body was her body why should it matter if people see it? It wasn't like she had many clothes while in the pit, all those people saw her body as they torn and shredded. Modesty wasn't really a concept the young girl knew about anymore.

That wasn't important though as the ashen haired teen hurried down the hall and eventually reached the main water valve. Just as Zoe was turning the knob in the shower she managed to get the water flowing. She had to find the hot water valve as well but it was close by thankfully. A small smile crossed her lips as she thought about the fact she gave Zoe hot water for her shower. Another warm glow sat in her chest as she walked back towards the bunk room. Maybe it would be a good idea to wash herself...her ashen hair was a mess, her skin was covered in grime. Plus it had been a long time since she had washed herself. Walking around the room Luna started going through the old storage locker to find any close that the old world had left behind. Eventually she found a female cop's causal clothes, it was going to be a little big...meaning the shirt looked like it'd reached her thighs and maybe her knees. Then there were some strange thing she didn't know what it was...it looked like it went around her chest? The fabric was a bra but Luna kinda never learned about those things so she didn't wear one.

With the outfit sitting on the bed the short albino quickly went to peel off her grimy clothes. They were full of holes and tore apart, her pants actually fell apart as tried to take them off. Maybe she should go searching for clothes? Her ones back home were starting to get a little tight. With the pieces of fabric gone Luna stepped into the same section Zoe had walked into. Of course she didn't know the concept of peaking so she stood in her stall staring at the faucet for a moment." How work?" Luna spoke loudly hoping she'd be heard by her friend as she stood staring at the metal thing. It had a valve like the ones in the hall...maybe if she turned it like this..turning it the wrong direction ice cold water started shooting out of the faucet and hitting the poor girl. A loud girlish squeak escaped her lips as the cold water touched her skin, she quickly turned the valve the other way a little and relaxed as the water warmed up. For a few moments she stood there just embracing the heated water openly. At last she started rubbing and cleaning the grime off her skin and hair feeling it turn a little raw.

(hey think we can do a skip from here? Say like a few weeks or so as they fix up the station and make it more of a safe house and such?)

(Alright lol)

The weeks seemed to have flown by as the two grew closer with Zoe teaching Luna to read while the two worked to board up and get the police station in working order to make it a safe place. Luckily for them as well they managed to get into the armory to find that they had several guns, plenty of ammo, and even SWAT body armor. It seemed that things were looking up for the two, with Zoe going out in the days to hunt for food taking Luna every so often. The dead were getting easier to deal with as well as they two slowly began to clear out the small town of them, but Zoe knew well enough that no matter how many they'd clear that there would be more and there was always the fear of a large horde deep in the pit of Zoe's stomach.

"And that's....23" Zoe nods placing another gallon jug of water on the shelf in the armory. Looking over all the things in the former armory, now storage, she gives a smile. The two had enough food and water to last at the very least six months if they just were to hold up in the stations basement. Turning to Luna she gave a cheeky smirk, "So I got a surprise...while I was out yesterday I found a working tv...and I saw an old movie store on the edge of the town I figured if we go and get movies and that tv and bring it here we can have some nice entertainment the next time it storms" she nods walking over to grab a protein bar from the shelf with several boxes of them.

She had to admit the set up was nice, but she was a little worried of anyone else coming around even though they figured they'd be able to hold the fort it still scared her a little. She wouldn't let Luna know that, however, mainly because she promised to protect Luna after her episode a few weeks back. Taking a bite of the bar she walks out of the armory and walks over to her bunk and sits down.

Two weeks went by like a blur after that slight panic attack and them gaining control of the police station. It was something Luna hadn't thought could be done but the two of them managed to do it. The time was spent quite easily of fixing it up and gathering the needed supplies to make this place a fort. The smaller girl was familiar with this kind of thing as she followed the same process as her old home. She sometimes stopped there while out and just walked around it. The place was basically empty now, they took everything she had there and brought back to the station. She even disarmed her traps and set up a mine field of them around the station. Of course there wasn't to much of a point to it, but Luna felt a lot safer and better having the traps up just in case.

With the time the two girls had also gotten a bit closer, the albino managed to go up two grades with her reading skills. It still wasn't where it should be at but she could atleast read somewhat now and she was thankful. Of course as thanks Luna tried teaching Zoe about traps and how to spot them. Traps were her speciality and it was relaxing to just make them. The young girl had been amazed by how much had been left in the armory but still refused to walk around with a gun. There was a reason for it but she had yet to say a word as to what it was to Zoe, she wasn't ready to speak about 'her' yet.

Luna looked over what used to be the armory but turned into a storage room and marveled at what they had. Enough food to last awhile, she wasn't sure how long but Zoe stated it would last them a god time. The albino stared up at her friend as she had a cute smile and spoke about a surprise. The smaller girl looked confused as the words T.V were mentioned along with movies. Knocking her noggin a few times she tried remember those words but nothing came up. Slowly she followed after the woman grabbing a bar of her own to nibble on." What's T.V and movies? Can we carry them here or make them our selves?" Luna spoke with her speech patterns improving a bit since the two had met. There were still times where she'd speak weirdly, but those were rare now.

"Yeah of course we can carry them here, as for movies...well it's like looking at a different world and watching people live their lives in ways that we can't." She shrugs moving to sit cross legged on her bunk with a smile, "most I can remember about movies is old Barney dvd's...but when I came across that movie store it made me think about a guy from my old group. He said he was a film critic before everything happened, and he told me about all the 'greats' and well I figured that maybe if we could hold up here a while and had things to watch other then the wall or the dead walking around then maybe we can have a good time" she nods eating the last of her bar before she lets out a sigh.

"I figured we can go later and grab the tv and bring it back before heading to the store and grabbing the movies" she nods before getting up, "well until then I'm gonna go grab our dry clothes from the line" she nods heading up to the main floor of the station, pausing for a moment she looks to the front door that they had barricaded with a few desk and plenty of rope as well as a few traps. With a shake of her head she continued to head up to the second floor then finally to the roof, where she had set up a little washing station as well as the start to a greenhouse. Although the greenhouse was still in the works with only a few pots with some seeds planted and a few planks to show that she's at least attempting to build the thing, but the wash station was much better.

Sure the wash station was just a simple trash can that was filled with soapy water and a semi-wet baseball bat that she'd use to mix the clothes around in the can, next to that was a clothes line that held on it the current last load that she had washed. A few things were still a little wet, but they could be worn still. Gathering the clothes from the line she walked the pile back down to the bunks and laid them out on her bed, "welp that's the last for now until we get other things dirty" she nods while wiping her hands of the non-existent dirt.

Luna walked closer and sat silently beside her friend on the bunk as she told her about these things called movies. It was curious and the young girl's mind went wild trying to decrypt what these things were like. Movies were apart of old world as she called it, they were apart of another life that was now gone. Ruined by someone that did something they weren't supposed to. That part didn't matter, the idea of reclaiming some of the old world was honestly exciting though. Her eyes were glued to Zoe with wonder for what they things were like. They kinda sounded like books but apparently you watch them instead of reading which sounded fun. A smile crossed her lips as she heard the plan to get the T.V first and then head over to get the movies.

It suddenly became one of those rare moments she was excited and anticipating something. Just the thought of these movie thingies sent crazy thoughts into the young girl's mind. A new concept was taking fruit and it was something she thought she'd never be able to experience before. The ashen haired girl nodded towards her friend as she got up and walked towards the stair well. For a few moments she sat there thinking about these marvels as she finished up her bar. Taking a moment to think Luna felt slightly embarrassed about all this stuff. Zoe had been the one adding additions, well she came up with the plans for them. There was barely anything there she had came up with in order to make living better.

There was one thing she was working on but so far it was a complete bust. Electronics weren't her thing in the slightest but she was learning a little, slowly of course. Wanting to do something progressive she hurried off to her little work room down the hall. The place where they had found that big guy all those months ago was where a maintenance room was. A place where everything was fixed and put back together. On the table seemed to be sitting a music player of some kind attached to a hand crank battery from a flashlight. It was fully crude and didn't look like it would work but Luna wanted to make some music for Zoe.

Dividing the clothes into two piles, one being hers and the other's Luna's, she nodded at the work and took Luna's to her bunk before walking back up to the first floor and peaking out the window. Although they boarded up the windows and doors, save for the back door, she made sure to leave a small hole to look out to the street with. Outside was a few dead shambling around, but nothing new, which made her glad to see. Moving away from the window she heads back to the roof to water the seeds, and stopping to check the solar panels on the roof.

They lucked out with the solar panels, as Adam would say, 'thank god for those liberal idiots got something right'. She gave a small laugh as she made sure to carefully wipe them down, and once she was down she looked to the door leading back to the second floor stairs she pulls out a small baggie of pills and took one. It wasn't anything bad, according to the label on the large bag it was in, in the evidence locker she'd found it was just a pain killer, be it a pretty strong one. It only took a few minutes to kick in, but when it did she began to calm down and feel her body relax from any pains.

With work done for now she headed back downstairs and laid in her bunk enjoying the softness of the old bed, she made a mental note that maybe it'd be good to look for a truck and a furniture store to grab red beds. Maybe a walmart to grab soft blankets and other things that hadn't been looted within the early days of the infection.

As she lays her thoughts drift to Luna and how it'd be nice to relax in a comfy bed with the other girl, a movie playing in the safety of the home that they were slowly building. Her face turning a pinkish on the second thought of the two in a bed together, "fuck...don't do this, now" she mutters to herself letting her arm lay over her face as she begins to think more adult thoughts about her friend. It wasn't her fault completely, she thought, knowing that her teenage hormones were a main reason for the thoughts, but she still could not help herself as it had been over a year at this point that she had last been with someone.

She squirms a little in bed, but thankfully she managed to control herself and get up to go find a place to 'relief' herself.

Luna allowed a tiny sigh to escape her lips as she tried to read the manual for how to work the two devices. The words were big and complex in some places and she tried her best to figure it out herself. If she could figure out the manuals then she'd have an easier time making the two work together. She remembered something Zoe had made a comment about before, it was about how there wasn't any music anymore. Well in the old maintenance room there had been a small CD player. If her thoughts were right these things played music but they needed a power source. There wasn't any way to use this thing without using their power up trying to get it to work.

So she tried swapping the battery out for a hand crank one. The process was so slow and annoying but the work was progressing at the very least. The albino moved tools about, messing with wires and making sure things were in the right place. A loud and annoying sigh escaped her lips as minutes already passed and she hadn't made any kind of progress yet. Some more time went by as she poked and prodded the merged devices, they just didn't want to work and it was growing increasingly frustrating. Luna slowly went into her pattern of tossing a tool every so often or letting out a moan or screech of frustration. This was her pattern of getting work done, thankfully her friend didn't come down this far and left her to the work. It was a kind of surprise for the other girl, just the kind of thing she wants to play one day and see how she reacts.

Luna wasn't exactly sure what type of music the girl liked, hell she didn't exactly know what type of music she liked. It was such an odd thing to want to do though, it was to the point then even just thinking about her cause that warm feeling to flow through her. Luna still didn't find a word for it yet, her want to be near Zoe, the happiness she feels doing things with her. The feelings she gets when she is all alone and her thoughts drift to how she enjoys looking at her. Ugh!! Another tool went flying across the room as the image of the two lying together popped into her head and she shocked herself. A sigh escaped her lips as she pushed through and tried to get this CD player to work. Just the thought of the surprise on her face was enough to make her keep going and figure this thing out.

The young albino messed with wires and mixed them together trying to get the player to work. Noise echoed through the halls as moaned and growled at the device trying to get it to work. The sound of things hitting the concrete walls as tools continued to be chucked across the room. At one point her shirt got a little torn up and she just pulled the thing apart a little. Her midriff was now exposed and her pale snowy skin looked smooth and clean. Since meeting Zoe and moving into this place she kinda got into hygiene, taking care of her hair and skin. Making them silky smooth and nice to look at. Her cheeks always turned red thinking about Zoe staring at her a far and wanting her.
