Bliss and the other scouts had returned to camp after being sent out to the Estate to gather the weapons. Her face was slightly pale, from seeing so much blood; She hoped most of it wasn't Ophelia or Eve's. Walking into camp, she dragged the spear behind her, as she felt uncomfortable holding the weapon. The spear itself was coated in blood at the point, with streaks of it along and the handles, up to where Eve would have held it. Bliss couldn't shake the image of that General, propped up against the wall with a spear through his chest, expression still reflecting the shock he had been given when it was plunged through him. She shuddered, before nodding to the other scouts and also taking the longsword.

Quickly she made her way to the commander's tent, poking her head in. "Aranor, we retrieved the weapons." She glanced at the commander, still seeing the slightest flecks of blood on her skin. "I don't think any of that blood is her's, sir. It's a slaughterhouse." She spoke quietly, setting the weapons inside by the entrance. "There are no more cultists in the area, seeing as their general has been killed. We're good to go." Bliss quickly added, before darting back out and moving towards the campfire. Hopefully tomorrow would be more peaceful, before the small group had to finally set out on their own.

Kuyiri returned rather late, her skin icecold and her eyes proving to look more tired than before. She avoided the ruckus, knowing that Saul would have looked for her if there had been something he needed from her. The blue-eyed woman simply disappeared withing her tent as the exhaustion from not sleeping for two whole days wrecked her, knocking her out easily on her cot.

Aranor didn't look at Bliss as she spoke to him. He didn't even visibly react, he just sat there and held Eve's hand. He was glad to have Eve's spear and sword back with them, but he already knew about the fact that the camp was a slaughter-fest. Eve had told him in the forest while he was bringing her back. She had told him she wasn't injured and that she slaughtered the cultists, so Bliss's report wasn't much of a surprise to him.

Ramiel remained near the campfire while all the chaos and confusion was going on. He wasn't concerned about things in regards to the leadership of the rebellion, he knew that would sort itself out given time, and he also knew Eve and Aranor were as tough as nails, they would be fine. What he was concerned about was the people IN the rebellion, the normal people who had their own issues, especially Kuyiri, as it Seemed she had vanished a while ago and no one knew where she was until she returned and went right to her tent and passed out on her cot.

When the man stated that he would retrieve the mentioned items, Naqi blew out a sigh and let herself settle back onto the cot for another few moments, eyes closing as she collected the pieces of her energy and molded them into something she could run on for a few more minutes. She hadn't expected it to take this much out of her, though she supposed she'd been due for some sleep even before the healing, so it should have been anticipated. Raising a dark sleeve, she wiped away the dampness on her flesh, eyes opening as the boy returned.

"Ah... Elo bless you." she murmured gratefully as she accepted the water skin, offering the boy the ghost of a smile. Taking small, slow sips, her shoulders eased, and she took the time to eye the newly healed's soiled apparel. Since the wound was closed and not in danger of infection, it wasn't urgent that the bloody things be removed, more just a matter of sanitation and comfort. Still, she wasn't sure if she should do so herself or let the woman change herself when she woke, as she may not want a stranger performing such a task. Still, digging a rag from her previously discarded bag, Naqi soaked it with the water skin and sponged away what she could, this task a far more relaxed affair. Moments later, she rose -and with greater ease than before due to the rest and hydration- leaving the fresh clothes beside the bed, should they be needed.

"I will be back to help how I can with the others." she stated, fully aware of her own limits from years of experience. She needed sleep if she was to be of any further use to anyone. Glancing to the medic, she dipped her head, before scooping up her bag and brushing out of the tent in a rustle of cloth and robes. There and gone like a mini sandstorm.

Before the tent flap settled, Toryn pushed through, head slightly turned as he listened to the retreating steps, new but not hostile. His senses swept the tent, noting the small gathering at hand with an arch of his brow. He'd been across camp, checking on a few soldiers who'd chosen to go back to their tents since they were wounded, but could move under their own power. Thus the tamer had missed most of the excitement, save hearing of what transpired as he returned.

"Busy day, eh?" he said with a warn out smile. Again, a keen understatement to describe the whirlwind they had been through in the last 18 hours. The sound of a heavy flop said Silva had made herself comfortable outside, and Toryn stepped over to the table, dropping a bundle of used bandages in the pile to be washed. "I can take the first night shift." he offered, turned slightly to Saul as he awaited a response. While doing so, the man took a long scrap of leather and reached back, gathering his untidy mane and binding it into submission so as to be out of his way. He was feeling alright, physically and mentally, and wanted to give the medic a chance at proper sleep, rather than a hastily stolen nap against an uncomfortable tree.

Saul's face softened into something almost a smile in return as he paused at the entrance to the tent, keeping well clear of Silva's flicking tail. Busy was one word for it, certainly. 'Terrifying', 'illusion-shattering', 'exhausting', and 'perilous' would also be apt descriptions.

"It certainly was," he replied, a bit wryly. He wanted to argue that he would stay up and take the first shift instead, to try and prove he was of some use after failing to help Ophelia, but weariness pulled at his bones and the thought of collapsing into his tent sounded incredible. He might keep himself awake for it, but he would be too tired to be of much use if something happened during it.

"Thank you dearly, Toryn." Saul bowed his head slightly, a grateful sigh audible in the words. "If you're sure, I'll take the next shift. May your watch be peaceful."

He let the flap of the tent drop closed, feet dragging slightly as he made his way back to his own tent. He shrugged off his blood-splattered coat, bunching it into the ball he used as a pillow on the hard dirt floor. Despite his worries about Eve, about Ophelia, about his envy of Kuyiri and the newcomer's magic, about whether or not those in the medical tent would survive the night, Saul fell asleep almost immediately. He did not dream at all.

Niriana was effectively being useless and simply decided to go to sleep after searching for her sister Carmen for quite a bit. She had genuinely wanted to finally talk but she had not gotten the chance to speak a word to her. It saddened Nia that her sister didn't feel the need to finally talk after being apart for so long. She asked someone where she could stay and laid down, finally dozing off, nightmares terrorizing her mind.

Morning came quick upon the camp, it's warm touch seeping into everything. The day was exceptionally clear, perfect for travel, but storm clouds were brewing upon the horizon both literally, and figuratively. After the first General had been killed, a new signal had been sent to the Throne; The Rebellion was no longer just some pest, it was a full force led by a woman hellbent on revenge. Something about that morning seemed anticipated, perhaps after the night's events. The attempted kidnapping and resulting bloodbath was whispered about, but nobody dared speak of it fully. With the First General already dead, it seemed fit that the small group The Commander had chosen would begin their personal journey to end it once and for all.

Eve had been awake for a while now, quietly sitting in her bed. She had pulled her hand from Aranor's a while ago, her mind having gone blank with grief. Desperately she wanted to speak to Ophelia, see if her friend had made it through. Images of her body in her arms flashed in her mind and Eve winced, nearly doubling over in an effort to remove herself of the thoughts. If she had been faster in killing those damned cultists, and not been so blood-thirsty, perhaps Ophelia wouldn't have gotten to such a state. Her hands shook as she thought of it, but she knew there was only one way to know for sure that Ophelia had lived. She didn't want to go into that medical tent, in fear that she would only get sad glances and the brain-numbing words of loss.

Slowly, Eve slipped out of her bed, still slightly limping. She had suffered a cut on the back of her leg, near her Achilles's heel, that was hindering her ability to move quickly. It didn't hurt, but more that it was slightly sore; However it still was an annoyance for her. Quietly she began to walk towards the exit, not wanting to stir or upset Aranor at all. She had put the poor man through so much, she believed he at least deserved sleep. Slipping out of the tent, Eve slowly made her way towards the Medical Tent. She still had traces of blood on her face and arms, but she didn't care about the looks that got her. She wanted to make sure she had done right by saving Ophelia, at the expense of her own sanity.

Stepping inside, Eve stood tall, hands clasped behind her back. Her eyes were still fiery, remnants of that rage still flickering deep within them. Now she had an even deeper vendetta against Unia and the cult, even if Ophelia lived. Letting out a soft sigh, the commander walked towards Ophelia's bed, kneeling down beside it. The woman seemed alive and surprisingly well, something that excited her. She didn't speak, nor did she touch Ophelia as she watched her breath. It had been difficult to see the once happy and lively girl so dim and close to death; Eve still got flashed of it now and again. Now it seemed that she was okay for now, which was all that mattered.

Naqi had returned to the tent some time before the first rays of dawn broke over the horizon, refreshed and restored. From washing bandages in melted snow water to changing sheets and checking fevers, she bustled about, brisk and fairly quiet. She didn't heal with magic when a poultice would do, and spent time answering a few of the cognizant injured's questions. Sunlight breathed new life into the camp, and Naqi looked up in interest when a new figure stepped into the tent. Toryn shouldn't be back yet, the man had only returned from his break a few minutes ago and was out by the fire, brewing tea for those at work. They'd exchanged introductions briefly upon his return.

It wasn't the wanderer, though the new individual gave the dark woman pause, halted halfway to the herb table with an empty mortar propped on one hip. Why did this red haired woman look so familiar... Naqi's sharp eyes followed her to the cot of the patient from the night before as her mind flitted backwards through time, chasing a memory. Was it possible? Slowly, the healer set down the mortar and stepped over to check on a sickly man asleep on one of the nearby cots, her wrist pressed to his forehead.

"Evelune..?" she asked quietly into the near silence, head tilting as her gaze flicked up, seeking confirmation. Indeed, it was the same girl she had seen what seemed like an age ago in the palace of Rimeholde. Just like so many others, she had thought Evelune dead... Of course. Evelune. Eve. A couple things clicked into place, and suddenly the whole rebellion, Bliss' respect for its leader, and its goal made much more sense.

Eve's head snapped up in surprise, having heard someone utter her name. No one in the camp knew it besides Saul and Aranor for now, who could have said it? Perhaps a fevered soldier who once served? looking around, her eyes landed upon a familiar figure with an all too familiar face. A warm smile danced across her own lips for a moment, before her face became stony once more. Her attention fell back to Ophelia, wincing as she slowly stood up from her kneeling position. "It has been a while, Naqi." She spoke softly, as to not alert anyone else who could possibly be coherent enough to understand.

A soft sigh escaped her as she gently rubbed a bit of blood from her own arm, realizing she most likely looked like a mess. "I didn't realize you would have been here-" Her voice was stern yet soft; Eve had met and known this woman when she was a child, so she still held immense respect for her. It had been a long time since the two had spoken, and Naqi had all but slipped her mind in the past year or so after the attacks. It was surprising to see her here, but she definitely wasn't all too shocked that the woman had found her way to the Rebellion. "It's strange, isn't it? Dainty and girly, and now I'm sitting here leading a rebellion." She chuckled. It was somewhat of a sad one, as she reminisced on older times.

Cuyler woke up feeling fresh and invigorated. It was true that he had one or two nightmares, but they were nothing he had to worry about. He began to walk around the place, searching for Eve before finding her in the medical tent. He said “hi” to everyone along the way, but he needed to talk beyond simple greetings.
“Eve... we need to speak in private.”

Galliad awoke and began hanging around the medical tent, wondering if his friend would get better. He spotted Carmen and called out to her. “Hey there! How are you this morning?” He smiled, wearing his bandages around his face. He was in such a happy mood due to helping save her friend’s life, even if it WAS a minor one.
