Sydney smiled and nodded as she looked at him,"Yeah,"she said before she turned and lead him back out of the house. Not bothering to leave a note for her parents as she knew they wouldn't be back for days, as she walked towards the car she felt her stomach flutter and her heart skip a few beats. Getting inside she couldn't help but think about their little date and what they could do at the carnival.

Tyler got in the car as well, taking a deep breath before he drove them to the carnival. He was a tad nervous and he was simply overwhelmed by Sydney's beauty and openness.. until now he had only experienced her reject one guy after the other. "You look absolutely stunning." He complimented her, smiling as he glanced over to her as he looked for a good parking space that was fairly close to the carnival. "Maybe I should be careful or somebody else might steal you away from me." He felt protective again, remembering Luke. What an arse for stalking and harassing Syd.

Sydney smiled as he complimented her as well,"Thank you.."she said softly before she turned her head to look around for a parking space as well. After they found one she had unbuckled her seat belt as she laughed at his second comment, she didn't say anything but her heart fluttered at his words. As she got out of the car she walked around to his side and took his hand in hers,"Come on this will be fun."

It was his turn to feel his heart pounding in his chest, holding her hand securely as they walked. "Most definitely" he replied, letting his gaze wander around the colorful carnival. Everything was decorated nearly excessively and there was already a lot of families, couples and groups of friends walking around, enjoying the summer day and creating an even more cheerful atmosphere filled with laughter, talking and shouts of joy. Tyler was absolutely new to this kind of thing - he had never been to a carnival before. So he made sure to stay close to Sydney, his curiousity growing.

As they walked through the Carnival Sydney felt eyes on her. She knew that she was well known for turning the guys of this town down, so of course it was a surprise to see her walking hand in hand with a boy. But it didn't bother Sydney once, she enjoyed the feeling of Tyler's hand in hers as they walked. After a few moments she turned her gaze towards him,"So where to first?"she asked with a smile on her face, she was excited to get the date started and spend time with Tyler.

Tyler scratched the back of his neck in a rather shy gesture - he had forgotten to eat in all his excitement. "Well, since we didn't get to eat, maybe we should grab a snack first and then play some games?" He offered, feeling his belly rumbling lowly. Tye was quite embarrassed because of that, his cheeks tinted a light red. "Unless you'd like to do something else first." A bright smile made it's way on his handsome face and he was darn glad his little fangirls weren't around to try and woo him.

As she heard his stomach growl Sydney laughed,"Food it is!"she agreed before she pulled him towards the area where there were snack carts along with pizza , hot dogs and hamburgers. As she lead him down the lane she looked up at him,"What are you hungry for?"She asked, Sydney wasn't picky at all, so she wanted to know what Tyler liked, to Sydney all food tasted good.

As they walked though Sydney spotted the girls from earlier , however now they were In a group. As they walked by Sydney's hand tightened slightly as the whispers began, Syd could only imagine what they were saying.

"How about a simple hamburger? Can't go wrong with those." He gave her another smile and noticed her tightened hold. Tyler noticed the cause and decided to slip his hand out of hers, instead putting his arm around her shoulders and pulling her close to him. The whispers were silenced for a second before they got eveen louder, and he could hear them mention "stealing the hot guy away". He simply led them to the snack cart and kissed the top of her head before ordering. "Would you like anything to eat? I'll pay." He offered her a reassuring smile, knowing that the group of girls were a big hassle.

Sydney nodded in agreement as he pulled her towards one of the carts. As he wrapped an arm around her Sydney felt slightly better, but when the whispers for louder she felt her cheeks heat up more. Sydney knew that she was the weird girl, starting with her attack in the back woods. She remember that day all too well, it had been winter and her grandmother had come over like she always did when Sydney's parents left town.

Sydney had wanted to play outside so her grandmother dressed her and sent her on her way like she had done so many times before. As Sydney made her way into the snow she started to think of ways she could entertain herself. One of the ways she had found was sitting on the swing and sing Christmas carols as she kicked at the snow. The next thing Sydney remember was being dragged by a rather large wolf, then there were more, her snow suit ripped as they grabbed at her, tearing the clothing and her skin.
That's when he came along. Her wolf. Her protector. He had chased the pack off before dragging her to the house and up the stairs where her grandmother called an ambulance. By the time Sydney has arrived at the hospital everyone knew about the attack and the weird girl that was saved by one.

As he asked her if she wanted something to eat Syd snapped back to the present and smiled slightly,"Uh yeah I'll take a burger too."

Tyler got 2 burgers and paid quickly, putting away his wallet to take the burgers from the vendor. He turned to Sydney and handed her one of them. "Would you like to sit somewhere while we eat? We have lots of time to discover everything anyways" he gave her a kind smile, noticing her being deep in thought earlier. In fact, she had taken quite a bit of time to reply. Tye couldn't help but chuckle. This was like a dream, and he would've asked someone to pinch him if he didn't know that this was in fact real. Sydney was absolutely beautiful and wonderful, smart and kind.
