Isabella slept soundly for a few hours before waking up to a cool rough tongue licking at her ankles. She looked around in a sleep filled state before looking down. She gasp and fell to the floor and held her puppy close to her chest and cooed to the puppy as tears escaped her eyes. “How did you get here?” She whispered and held the puppy close to her. “I love your sameul...”

As the sun was already rising again, Salem had left to sleep, leaving the house empty for her to explore. Doubting she'd already actually do that, though, he arranged a small breakfast for her and her dog to eat in her room.

Isabella laid with her dog in the morning hours. After that she picked her puppy up and explored her room. Surprised to find some older looking gowns and dresses in the armoire. Sighing she looked at one that caught her attention and laid it on the bed. Then she placed genpuppy on the bed and motioned for it to lay down as she went to the bathroom and cleaned herself up. She hadn’t cleaned herself up in almost three days. She was sure Salem wouldn’t mind her taking a rinse and cleaning herself. An hour later she came out with her hair braided to the side in a beautiful braid. And slipped on the simple royal blue gown. Praying Salem wouldn’t mind the outfit, Isabella left the room to explore a cute furball running behind her and following, occasionally slipping on the wood.

As he had promised the house was free for her to explore, none of the doors were locked and most contained rooms full of old furniture and boxes filled with clothes and books. Things no one needed anymore or couldn't be used, yet you wouldn't want to dispose of. Like children's clothes or handwritten diaries in a foreign language. The rooms downstairs consisted of the kitchen, the library and a study next to it. The curtains were pulled shut only halfly, letting in light through the leaves of the trees far overhead and allowing her to peer into the wildered garden that somehow still kept its former beauty. Beneath the double staircase, right across the still locked main entrance, the heavy door towards the basement lied darkly, somehow. It too was unlocked, but Salem told her not to go there. Considering he was no where to be found, she could decide on her own.

Isabella walked around the mansion, a soft smile graced her lips, the flow to the dress seemed to make her walking and searching have an elegant look. Her darling Samuel followed whereever she went. They had rated the breakfast together and Isabella was more calm now that Samuel was there as well. She had opened every door of the house except for the basement one. She looked at it hesitantly before telling Samuel to go play. Once he was gone, Isabella hitched up her skirt and began to walk down the dark cold stairs of the basement.

Barking and loud noise could be heard from the living room and out of paranoia and fear Isabella ran up the stairs and towards Samuel wondering what had caused his stir up but unwittingly left the door wide open. Light peering into the basement.

Isabella hushed Samuel and went outside with him to calm him down and to admire the dewy garden.

As she walked down the stairs a cool breeze greeted her, soon followed by the smell of firewood carried on a warmer gust. As far away from the source as she was, it might just have been her imagination, though.
The doors leading outside were still locked, but there was a closed off terrace allowing to get some fresh air. Different than the house, the forest was wide awake, with birds chirping and a squirrel scurrying away as it heard the door slide open. Not aware she wasn't even able to reach it.

Isabella smiled st the warm feeling the different smells brought her, reminding her of the glorious outdoors. Hurriedly she walked to the open terrace doors only to find herself never getting closer. Tears rushed to her eyes seeing as she want even allowed to go outside. Sighing she sat on the floor and cried. Her emotions overwhelming her.

Salem still wasn't around, considering he was a vampire he'd rather stay clear of sunlight. So until dusk, no one was there to disturb her on the terrace. The wildlife soon watched her through the wooden fence and railing which's white paint has long started to chip off between the vines of flowers and plants climbing up at it.

Isabella sadly eventually got up and began to wander around again. Isabella walked around Humming softly to herself. Samuel trailed along behind her like a playful puppy would. His little tail wagging back and forth softly. The basement door remained wide open Sparking Isabella’s curiosity once again. Having forgotten she was once going in earlier, she told Samuel to stay and she began to make her way down the basement steps. She had forgotten Salem’s instruction on this subject. At this point isnwas almsot dusk. Isabella looked around in the dim light that entered from the door and Isabella gasped loudly and fell to the floor at what she saw.
