ace chuckled and placed his lance on his shoulders "I was scouting round the walls came across a couple dead undead shot by the watch tower. searched the bodies found nothing so I collected the arrows and came back inside. i was planning to do some training afterwords to keep my skills sharp." he said. he didn't really want to let her know know he slept outside since it really wasn't a big deal. it was kinda like when he was travelling he would always be outside even though how dangerous it was.

Riley smirked a bit when Ace stated he was planning on doing some late night training like her. Despite the fact she was nervous about hanging around him alone training together didn't sound all that bad." I doubt after twelve years the dead are going to have anything useful on them. You've been out there before right? Fought those things...got any...advice for someone new to this whole zombie slaying thing?" Riley asked as she held a nervous smile to her lips. If she remembered correctly Ace was one of the ones who came in after everything went to hell. Unlike her who had been in this safe place since everything went down. She hadn't really gone face to face with one of those things since...her parents.

Ace chuckled "well to start off always move for the head" he said before starting towards the training dummies. "if you get one of them on the ground that's an easy kill. though while most people like guns to keep the undead at bay i prefer more conventional means" he said stopping by what looks like a small campsite where his sword shield and rifle sat. picking up the sword and shield and leaving the lance behind he turned to her again "the sword and shield is a Spartans best friend. the sword can only get dull and usually doesn't break though it depends on the blacksmith, while the shield is used for a good defense as well as offence. each person has their own personal means of slaying undead..." he stopped when he reached the training dummies "as they say to each of their own."

Bethany wasn’t too keen on the thought of going outside of the community walls again. It kept her up at night. If she could have it her way, she’d never lay an eye on one of this things again. She’d stay back and do her duty inside the walls, protecting the people from one another and helping keep order. But what fun would that be?
She threw her legs over the side of her bed, shivering as her bare feet touched the cold wood floor, standing in her loose night clothes in the middle of the dark room. She could barely keep her eyes closed, so a nighttime stroll to ease the mind was probably a good idea.
She dressed in a tight fitting black tee and some jeans, along with her heavy duty work boots. She made sure to fasten her gun holster to her side before slipping out the door into the cool night air.
There were always a surprising amount of people out whenever she took her night walks, but she knew exactly where to go where there was no one.
She ducked behind a house into an empty street, finally reaching the peace and quiet of the back wall. It was darkest back here, they couldn’t spend too much energy on lights that wouldn’t be used. But she relished in it. She ran her hand along the wall, her fingers sliding over every little bump and crack, as she walked along it. Finally she reached a ladder, she climbed up it to a retired guard tower. She took a deep breath when she reached the top, closing her eyes and letting the cool air brush over her skin. She plopped down in a rickety chair, one just by the opening to view the area, and looked out.
Soon, she would be out there again, more permanently. And it scared the hell out of her.

"We can't approach them at night.. they'll probably kill us without a second thought, mistaking us for raiders." Marcus whispered to his son as they approached the front. Standing off to the side, out of the direct line of the gate, Marcus stopped as he heard voices coming from the other side. "There's people keeping watch.. I can hear them talking." Marcus added as he insisted his son turn around. "Let's find shelter somewhere else, first thing we go find your brother."

"Dad, no. What of they have supplies? A doctor? This might be our only hope. Besides, maybe they can help us find Oliver. He'll get killed by himself all night." Jay insisted as he stepped in front of the gate, peering in between the bars.

Riley thought about following Ace towards the dummies as he spoke but, decided against it. No one was at the gate besides them and it was an idiotic idea to leave it unmanned. So she listened to what the man had to say, even if it was a bit difficult as he wandered a bit off. Luckily the training dummies they were using were right next to the gate. That way she could listen and keep watch. Most of what he said she knew though, what she hoped was something she didn't really know already. With a sigh the redhead leaned back against the gate, her bat laying on her shoudlers. Still the woman nodded every so often to show Ace she was listening. Riley was hoping they'd find someone new or something tomorrow, she couldn't keep living in that house all alone.

As Asher strolled down the sidewalk with his crossbow held over his shoulder, he spotted Ava walking by herself just as he was. He opened his mouth to greet her, but then noticed that she was walking home. Abandoning the plan, Asher instead headed for the wall. There was a part of it he could peer past and see outside with, and sometimes he liked to sit there and think while keeping watch from a different angle. There wasn't much else to do.

Jay didn't see the girl at first through the darkness, a little startled when he noticed she was leaning against the gate in front of him. He felt so close, he could have killed her if he wanted. But thtas not what they were there for. After a moment of running possibilities through hisnhead, Jay stepped back from the gate, clearing his throat loud enough for the people in the other side to hear. "Um.. hello. Excuse us. We need help. Please can you help us?" He spoke confidently as he tried to make out how many were behind the gate

ace placed his shield on his arm and gripped his sword. seeing if he still has his power swing he swiftly swung his sword slicing almost all the way through the neck of the training dummy. after a moment he realized he made a stupid mistake and started back towards the gate. he shouldn't have left it unguarded guess he got distracted. he stood by the gate not saying anything else just too distracted on giving himself crap for leaving the gate when no one was guarding.

Ava finished eating. Once she cleaned her dishes she gathered somethings to make some arrows for her bow, half way through her work she noticed Eve and Ace standing by the gate, and even though she was tired , her curiosity got the better of her. She grabbed her arrows and bow before heading out and towards them, As she approached them a smile came on her lips,"You guys on duty?"she asked, looking between the two. She hasn't seen anyone guarding the gate till now though, And from the blood on Ace's spear told her he had been up to something else,"or planning on leaving so soon?"she teased.
