"Good night." He responded, settling in to sleep and closing his eyes. Hopefully that would be the end of the awkwardness and they could rest up for tomorrow's travelling. He should have known that it wouldn't be that simple. Nothing ever seemed to be in his life, especially lately with her around.

Just a few minutes later, before he was even asleep, she began moving around. Her movements pushed the blankets down, exposing his upper body. Oh well, it had been a little too warm anyway. What was more, now she was touching him again. Her whole body was definitely closer than it needed to be, of that he was quite sure, and her face was now against his shoulder.
His only response was to look down at her in surprise, not moving and having nothing good to say; any positive comment on her current position sounded creepy to him in his head, and he certainly didn't mind enough to make any negative comment. Instead Jack quietly watched to see what she would do next, wondering if she was truly unaware of the effects of her actions or whether she did it purposely. She wouldn't be the first girl to do things purposely to get a rise out of him, but then again he got the feeling multiple times so far that she was feeling just as awkward as he was. There was something about that which he found preferable, and while he usually just ignored or pushed away the girls who acted strangely around him, he found himself becoming closer to her instead.

The next thing Ophelia did was....sleep. It may have been a slightly precarious position, but Jack hadn’t protested. So it must’ve been alright. Plus she was now very comfy and he was so warm, not to mention the fact that she was very exhausted from the many hours of flying. Everything led her to falling asleep in perfect contentment. Jack would just have to embrace the situation or push her away. Either way, Ophelia was completely out and if he did move her, she probably wouldn’t notice.

((Sorry for the delay! Feel free to time skip to the morning :)

[That's alright, I hope everything is going okay. I have been missing this rp, though, it's one of my favorites.]

Jack decided it was best to keep very still, seeing as she had gone to sleep. That had been the right thing to do before. He was absolutely exhausted, but still it took him a while to fall asleep.

When he woke up the next morning, the first thing he did was look around for her. Hopefully he hadn't somehow done something to upset her while asleep. He had ended up unconsciously putting his arm around her, not aware enough in his sleep to think too much about her feelings on that or how she would react. It wasn't as if she couldn't escape if she wanted to, anyway.

Ophelia was the first to wake, the blonde remaining very still as she became aware of her body. She was laying right next to Jack, the warmth of his body a nice feeling in the early morning. And she also happened to note that sometime in their sleep, he had managed to place his arm around her. Oh. That was unexpected, but again, she shyly found herself not minding at all. Though if he suddenly woke up at that moment, it would be very awkward for both of them. With a faint blush on her cheeks, she slowly eased her way out from under his arm, a little saddened she didn’t take her time and enjoy the moment. But enough of such silly thoughts. The only reason they shared the bed in the first place was because there was only one and it probably wouldn’t happen. Besides, they were here to rescue her brother. That was all that mattered. With a soft sigh, she stifled a yawn and then gently got out of bed, careful not to wake Jack.

When she was in the clear, she went ahead and gathered her clothes she would wear for the day and then entered the bathroom to freshen up. Once she was done, she’d return to the main room, her forest green eyes falling on the sleeping form of Jack. She wanted to be nice and let him sleep in for a while longer, but they really needed to get going. They weren’t even supposed to be in the motel room and they needed to leave before the place got busy. She wanted towards him, the girl standing over him and gazing down at him. He was so cute when he was sleeping. “Jack,” she called, a finger gently poking his forehead. “Time to wake up!”

When she moved Jack woke up enough to be aware of his surroundings, but his eyes remained closed as he was only half awake and not too thrilled about getting up and doing more flying just yet. For the next several minutes he tried to get some more sleep, knowing that soon enough they would have to set out again. At least she hadn't freaked out about him touching her.
"Yeah, I'm getting up." He mumbled when she poked at him, his eyes opening before he sat up. Immediately he went for his bag to get the day's clothes.

"So, shall we find somewhere to get breakfast and then set out?" He asked as he rummaged through his stuff. He really should have organized it better before they left.
