Alone in the Rain

"I'm sorry" she weeps clasping her face in dismay "I know I was wrong forgive me" she holds her chest with a firm grip as the raindrops pour. "I can't promise I'll do it again, but please" she eyes coated with tears, as she falls to her knees.

He looks down at her, tears forming in his eyes. "How could I ever trust you again, after what you did.." his voice trails off as he turns to walk away.
