Elias and Ashley stood in the rear as this Hazantcore asserted his dominance against the new arrivals. It was rather frightening to look at, even from 5 meters away from the crowd. Ashley felt a shiver ran down her back. Hazantcore's commanding aura felt so unnatural, like it was threatening to swallow her whole. She knows Elias could also feel the same way. Even if they are to work together, Ashley can't help but feel like there was something else to it.

Namie checked her body to see if anything was amiss- the top of her head was bleeding and she coughed up a lot of blood, there seemed to be some bruising around her body, but she seemed to be fine. She opened up a small medical kit that was kept aboard the Gespenst and wrapped a bandage around her head. As soon as she got done with that what sounded like a terrible screech made her clutch her head, before it abruptly stopped. She looked up at her screen to see something just projecting itself ... or something like that.

Her Gespenst could've been in better shape, but she can still keep going. She had the Gespenst open up a compartment that was next to the extra ammo that was meant for anyone who needed. A 'small' blowtorch to be exact. She had the Machine run an automatic repair on itself in the most damaged areas. It would mostly just seal up any holes and weld together some broken pieces, but that should do.

Wodan had the Zankantou go back to its smaller form and hide it back on his Mech. The projection wasn't ready to attack him, but it seemed to be projecting where the user was from the looks of it. Even through the fire and smoke it stuck out like a sour thumb. The projector must be very strong or very stupid to reveal himself like this, but Wodan wasn't one to underestimate the enemy.

He turned to the Gespenst pilot to see that it was repairing itself little by little, "Retreat if you must. I can handle this myself if need be."

"I can still go on. This is just a scratch."

"If you believe you can go on, so be it.You're free to retreat anytime." He had his mech point in the direction of the projection, "We'll head towards that."

"Yes, sir."

Namie continued to repair her own mech while boosting towards their objective at a slow pace, Wodan was ahead of her blazing a trail ahead, but enough so that Namie could follow him. The Horn atop its head glowed a dangerous red as it was ready to strike into anything that had the misfortune of being headbutted out of existance.
Namie and Wodan could see and hear the sounds of a violent struggle not too far away also of Skyblaze calling for help over the radio comms.

"Guys!? Anyone?! In a bit of a pickle here!!!"

Skyblaze's circuitry flared with barely contained fury as the disgusting Leopard man forced him into a losing battle As the deranged Leopard worshipper forced him from his lofty aerial throneh down into the mud for a close quarters fight whose level of brutality he was hardly ready for. The supposed superiority of Cybertronian life over human technology and their organic wielders soon came into question as the great heathen champion drove home his advantage with the fury only an acolyte of a queer beast of a god could. The talent of the fanatic could not be understated and the Cybertronian mercenary's processors flared up with heat as he overclocks his systems in a desperate ploy to give him the processing power and reactions necessary do more than cause meager, superficial damage. Amidst a brief lull in their deadly dance, the burning jungle around them comes to life as digitized roars blared about them and the trees rustled with unseen movement of enemies unknown, Skyblaze soon realized he was locked in a life-or-death struggle; grinding ever towards the blasphemous moment where he might be given over as an offering in carnage to their Leopard God at the end of the cultist's blade...
Wodan heard the call, but chose to not head towards Skyblaze's location. His mind was focused on the location of the projection and a hunch of his told him that they must be defeated quickly lest he find himself at a disadvantage.

"Ensign Gale, assist Skyblaze."

"What about you?"

"I'll charge into and past the battle, but I won't stop charging. I'll deal with the projection."

"Ah, you'll act as a distraction for a brief moment. Understood."

Namie put away the repair device and actually prepped just two missile pods and the shotgun she had yet to use up to this point. As they got closer to Skyblaze's position Namie fired off the two missile pods, "Danger Close."

She could only hope Skyblaze wasn't dead at the moment and the assistance wasn't for moot. Wodan simply boosted faster with the intention of blasting past the battlefield and towards the projection as planned. Namie kept the Gespenst's finger on the trigger, ready and willing to shoot whatever wasn't identified as an ally.

The pirate fiends have captured a high-ranking commissar of the Death Korps and the knowledge he holds is, without any exaggeration whatsoever; crucial to the continued existence of Humanity...”
(Chunk about Chaos snipped. Also, for reasons another Space Marine rename is at hand. Don't ask.)

The senior sergeant nods, taking in the information at hand.

"Orders received, my lord. We will partake in carrying out the recapture of the Commissar with our total ability. When shall we be deployed?"

The Sacristan and Techmarine have stopped speaking, turning their attention to the Custodes. The Knight Pilot eyes the other mech pilots in the hangar, before returning his attention to the discussion at hand.
Love the Emperor, for He is the Salvation of Mankind.
Obey His words, for He will lead you into the light of the future.
Heed His wisdom, for He will protect you from evil.
Whisper His prayers with devotion, for they will save your soul.
Honor His servants, for they speak His voice.
Tremble before the Majesty of the Emperor, for we all walk in His immortal shadow.

Hazantcore nods in approval, at the very least these Marines weren't complete fundamentalists like the likes of the Black Templars or the Ecclesiarchy.

"As soon as we are fully repaired, supplied and know enough of this appropriated vessel, shall we initiate the rescue operation."

As the Custodes continued discussing with the Marine Captain, several guardsmen and a Techpriest, one of some seniority moved through the small crowd and approached the knight and his retainer; Cadians from the looks of their fatigues and their calm but ready attitudes.

"Hello sir Knight, allow us the honor to give you a tour of the ship we just captured."

The Techpriest makes a sign of the cog before he speaks.

"Hail and well met, questing knight. It is by the Omnissiah's grace that you have been delivered unto us for it was far too long since I have laid my eyes upon a Titan that was not made by the labor and designs of heathens."

The adept not-so subtly implied of the mechs towering over the much shorter Knight Titan around the hangar.

The Sacristan and Knight Pilot nods in agreement. Lucius, the Sacristan, spoke up first.

"I sympathize with you, fellow servant of the Machine-God. I can but barely imagine the dread and pain that you might have felt spending countless days amongst these... abominable constructs."

Then the cloaked Knight Pilot spoke.

"Very well. It is about time I familiarize myself with the layout of this ship, for I expect to remain here for extensive time. Please lead the way."

The Techmarine had left a few moments ago to sort through some of the crates piled around the Knight, and has now returned to join the group.

"On the topic of the other machines that stand in this hangar, what of those who control their every move in combat? I presume I shall be meeting them soon." (Knight Pilot)

"Most unfortunate indeed, but we mustn't direct our hate upon this ancient iteration of mankind for the nature of their sins are of ignorance, not malice. Still, their lack of respect and knowledge towards the machine spirit and the Omnissiah is jarring to be sure..."

The techpriest sighs as he recollects his private turmoil and struggle at being thrust into such a world so alien compared to his own.

"Regardless, even a single adept coming to offer aid to our conclave is a great boon, especially since our already small numbers have further dwindled..."

Leaving the cogboys to their little chat, the Guardsmen escorted the Knight and his loyal retainer towards the hangar before Etrigan walked up to the procession with Kim, Elias and Ashley in tow.

"Ah, lord Astartes, come to take measure of Sir Knight's character personally?"

"Please, Etrigan is fine. But yes, I have come to take stock of the newest addition to our crusade and hearing of his interest in meeting the pilots of the titans aboard this ship, I have taken the liberty of bringing some of them with me."

The Black Dragon steps to the side to reveal the trio before the Freeblade, which depending on his psychic aptitude; may or may not sense the warp's spark among two of them.

"These three are..."

A very, very awkward silence ensues broken only by one of the Cadians suddenly coughing to clear his throat.

"...I never asked for their names..."

Carmen would find that the Arachnid Mastermind's mind was quite well defended against intrusion as rapid-fire flashes of horrible violence, eldritch visions of feline beasts and the concentrated agony of the victimized souls bound to the abomination was projected directly into her mind through the probe. Judging from the lack of strain she might feel from the pilot beyond all that, it wasn't something he was actively doing to her... Most likely an automatic psychic defense system installed in that malefic machine he's using.

His next action however was totally of his own will: Snapping the fingers of his mechanical monstrosity, the arsenal orbiting around it all pointed towards Carmen's position and let rip with a short but devastating hail of mecha-killing ammunition: 36mm machinegun bullets, 50mm rifle rounds, 240mm rockets and 320mm anti-mech missiles.

AEK on the other hand manages to take out her damaged and disoriented harassers with ease. However she would soon find the entire cube of airspace right ahead of her filled with supersonic shrapnel courtesy of a Leopard Mech that had just dug itself out of its hiding spot in the jungle below, while the first shot from its shotgun barely missed, its next attack is probably something she should really try to avoid given the size and speed of the munitions its packing.
AEK cut her thrusters and began to plumet for a half second before kicking her thrusters back up just before the next mass of scrap-shot buzzed towards her position, diving beneath it with only a single sliver of it grazing an arm. Nothing seriously damaging, just a chip to the armour plating. She shot towards the ground and below the treeline before flatteinging out and going horizontal. Now for any human no matter how good this would be suicidal, but AEK was far better than any human. She bobbed and weaved through the trees, bringing out her lucifer once more. Once she got close enough to her target she would begin to circle around the mech that had fired at her, the treeline hiding her but not doing anything to stop the absolute downpour of bullets streaming out at the leopard mech.

Carmen smiled as she saw the onslaught of bullets and explosives coming towards her; all physical, all manipulatable. She closes her hands and telekinetically grabs them, flinging it back to her target. At the same time she micromanages her psionic barrier to focus energy to the front in case her return-to-sender move failed for some odd reason.

"That's the problem, too perfect. It's like seeing something that looks like, I dunno a good counterfeit dollar sure it looks like the real deal but it lacks subtle legitimacy when you compare it side to side with the genuine article. Do you guys even get scars or whatever? I don't know how you things work honestly? Its like every one of you looks like a damn model or something, stuff gets really uncomfortable when you notice you are a walking talking Barbie doll."

Rob omitted the fact after using the purgatory, he was more attuned to the presence of people now for some reason, like one of those Espers everyone is crazy about. Xavier was weird because he could be felt all over the damn ship, it was overwhelming and makes him feel even less at ease with the convicted killer; even more so that it really didn't help in knowing where and when the Medicine Man would physically appear. The Dolls? He couldn't feel them at all despite their emulation of living beings, it was offputting as hell.
Sopmod pulls up one sleeve, revealing the very ugly join between the IOP T-doll part of her arm and the much more mechanical metal. It was jagged, looking like it had been done by Sop herself rather than proper technitians. Partly because she was the one that did it. "We scar. M16's missing an eye, there;s this thunder chick with dozens of cuts and marks on her neck from... Well rumour is she once tried to hang herself but I've never asked for obvious reasons. We do scar and get injured, just that we can replace our parts if we want to. Most of us, anyway. Thunder's an older model so it's hard for her and me and my sisters are... Special cases, so we can't, but most others can."

Kazuki soon realized his attempt at scanning the monstrosity was an ill-advised move, as the viewscreen of his machine began to malfunction and flashes of indescribably horrible visions and sanity-blasting runes while a chorus of screams played out on his machine's intercom at ear-piercing volume. Whatever the hell this thing was, it was so impossible that the mere act of attempting to analyze it through the laws of reality simply caused it to bend its rules.
It was by instinct that his power suddenly froze in a very painful way. At the next milisecond he started to receive flashes of indescription and detrimental runes, his brain forcefully interrupted the scanning process, very painfully. As Kazuki was bluntly kicked back into his senses by his own instincts desperately trying to protect his mental integrity, a spike of pain suddenly popped up on the young man's head. A pain like that of the hangover of someone who had way too many drinks on the night before at it's apex.

He shook his head, making an effort to concentrate through the pain for now. Having no aspirin available sucked. It seemed he'd have to do this by good old observation. Didn't take long to detect what he perceived as an opportunity inside that thing's mouth, The Shibuki readied it's handheld weapon and took aim at the beast.

Was Kazuki aiming for a direct attack? No! He was just trying to pick up on the monster's movement patterns and pick the right timing when the monster opens it's mouth, And when it did, Kazuki decided to fire off a flashbang shell inside that thing's mouth in an attempt to daze it.

If everything went as intended, the shell would be fired off at a rather high speed towards the beast's vision and pop off in an excruciatingly bright flash in attempt to stun the creature, even if temporarily, and buy some time.

Kim seemed to be deep in thoughts while everything was happening around him, but somehow was very aware of what was happening, but didn't seem to say anything until he was questioned about his name, that snapped him out of his mental world and broght him back to cold and harsh reality.

"Kim, that's the name. I'm Kim. What's the plan so far. Are we going to use me in any way shape or form? Because if not I'm all about the idea of me just going and doing my own thing."

It could seem he wished no place in the events unfolding, but it wasn't always sure when it came to him. He was the one walking around with his weapons on him at all times.
