Beautiful huh? Malcom always thought of the snow as a terrible burden that hurt them more than anything. A learned behaviour from being around Jax for so long. Though the boy couldnt imagine seeing this all for the first time now, how dreadful the rest of the world had become. "Well.. you're in for some surprises." The blonde boy told her as they continued trudging through the snow. Former civilization was miles from them, a long journey through open snowy land seemed to be the forecast for the trip. For a moment he turned his head to look at the others, hopefully everyone was up for it.

"Of course I understand it'll take me several months to build and get to working right, but it could work. If anything we can find old car batteries to charge or even a radio. I mean think of it, we could contact other's, tell them of this place and build up more." he looks from Jameson to Delcon. "It'll be very risky yes, but the reward far would outweigh the risk, I mean think of it. Plus even if we are all that is left here there are other countries that were not even hit directly with the bombs. I'm sure that they are no better then we are with the stock market crash and all, but it wouldn't mean everyone would be dead." he nods firmly, and for the first time and a long time he began to think about his boy's back home in England.

Michael looked back at everyone, then took one last sweep with the scope of the rifle before slinging it back over his shoulder. Standing he stepped out into the clearing, then walked out about fifty yards before stopping. The wind buffeted him as it rolled down off the mountain. Thankfully his layers held and kept the cold from hitting his skin.

After a few moments he looked back at the group and waved them forward. Being the scout of the group held certain challenges, which Michael jumped into head on. It also held the most danger, as he always set himself up as an open target. Thankfully though he knew that Tayen had his backside. Looking at the mountains before them, he began recalling the pass through the mountain, and despite it having more ambush points, was the safer route to go, since going up and over the mountain held colder temperatures that Michael honestly doubted their clothing could withstand.

Waiting for the group to catch up he looked back at everyone, “Alright time for a vote, we can go through the mountain pass, or up and over. Both have their dangers, but the mountain pass is faster and won’t be as cold.” He was hesitant about going up and over, but he’d go either way. Michael had made the journey up and over before when he arrived here, and he’d gone through the pass on subsequent supply runs before. Looking back around he finally looked at the group again, which was hard to tell through the tinted goggles shielding his eyes.

Tay gave a smirk as she watch Mike, it was always fun to see the man being protective even if everyone in the group now could easily hold their own. Pulling up the scarf to cover her mouth she advanced when he waved them over and the face he gave she knew the question was coming, and when he asked she shook her head. The safest way, in all honesty, would be going over, that way they wouldn't be ambushed. They'd see any attack coming from all points, but that was a risk without the proper climbing gear.

The pass was far more risky with several points that would be a perfect ambush place, sure the normal mutants wouldn't be an issue, but the Muties were smart and wouldn't have any issue surrounding the group and taking them out. Looking from the top of the mountain to the area which would lead them to the pass she began to speak, although her words muffled somewhat due to the scarf over her face, "We don't really have climbing gear so the pass is about the only option unless we plan to risk falling just for the thought of safety." she nodded and looked around the group.
