The door to the Dragon's Scale opened, and a form glanced inside, pushing the door more open before entering. It was a relatively tall person, wearing a cloak with its hood up, but the way the cloak fell against its figure, it was apparently a female. She lifted leather-gloved hands and pulled the hood back, making her way towards the counter. Her skin and eyes were most unusual, reminiscent of opal gemstones that sparkled gently in the light of the hall. She reached back as she walked, brushing her hair back behind her out of being held by her cloak, her hair cascading down her back like liquid platinum. Her gait halted momentarily as she was met with an unusual sight. A man holding a weapon to another's throat. She let out a light 'tsk' sound, then looked at the blade. "On shyrn, mai sar air ei vaer taerar shaedyl!" she exclaimed to herself in almost delight, staring at the shining metal. "So that is a real metal weapon..." she shook her head lightly, looking towards the counter again. She forgot what she had came in for. "Sorry, excuse me.." she started to walk around the two men, moving up to the counter.

Feeling the point of the dagger close to his neck took a step back, removing his hand from the dagger at his side. "I apologize i shall have her try to remember that." Taking another step back let his robes fall in front of the dagger once again hiding it from view. "I will not bother you further, I apologize, I have just been paranoid since my sister and I fled the safety of our kingdom. I fear that it is rubbing off on my sister." Turning around headed back to where Valeria sat her nose once again back in her book. Once back at the table began to talk to the guards they were with.

Carvin quickly and smoothly returned his dagger to his sheath as the boy began to leave. Afterwards he decided that he needed a drink. So he quickly turned and headed to the counter. On the way he made sure to avoid the large woman and the dragonoid. Once he was at the counter he sat in one of the bar seats and then ran his left hand through his hair. Afterwards he looked up said to the Scaleborn woman "Excuse me darling, but do you mind getting me a pint of whatever the hardest liquor you have in this establishment is? Also, I'd love me a large order of whatever your best fixins you serve here is as well." He then took in a deep breath to try to relax and as he did he happened to glance out the side of his eye at the woman who had committed on his weapon being made of metal earlier.

He had paid her no mind at all before, but now that he wasn't otherwise engaged he couldn't help but marvel at her appearance. She was beyond breathtaking. He had seen many beautiful women over the course of the centuries of his life but none had ever come close to comparing to the one beside him now. He then looked up at her with an expression of contemplation and asked "So we're is your personal entourage? Surly a lady such as yourself wouldn't risk traveling alone with the type of vicious people who wonder around these parts freely every day."

Noticing that Valeria was getting tired smiled, helping her up, he would have to create some damage control, as he had felt like something was wrong since he had gone searching for their parents. They had disappeared, and since then he was very paranoid, every shadow and noise made him jump, or put his hand on the dagger at his waist. The other guards milled around keeping an eye on both lord and lady. It had been hard for him, as he had left the lady he had feelings for, everyone well almost everyone, Valeria still didn't know that their parents had disappeared. He placed a hand over his dagger once again trying to keep the worry from his face. The less she knew Leland reasoned the better, especially as she was still young. He hoped that he would be able to get word to his older brother and sister, as most of the court had vanished when the King and Queen did. Once again glancing, over at his little sister, he didn't know how long it would keep her from knowing what had happened. If he could get word to his older sister and brother and their families to join them, they could figure out a plan, and try to figure out what happened to their parents.

The woman had been about to say something to Zephora at the counter, when the man with the metal blade had come over and started ordering from the pink skinned woman. It was pretty amazing at how different people were outside of home. After having ordered, he had addressed her, with a term she had been unfamiliar with. Entorage? Her mind mulled over the word to find the meaning, finally landing on what it translated to, along with help from his other comment about her being alone. She smiled gently, turning towards him. "Vicious people? Oh no. Everyone I have met so far have been amazing. Far varying personalities than I have ever seen before! Simply remarkable. Besides.. A solitary person draws far less attention than a group does. No one thinks twice about a lone figure riding down the road on their horse. But with a group, people will wonder who they are and where they are going. If no one notices you, then no one will bother you. Besides, far more free when alone."

On that note, the door to the Guild Hall opened again. Another cloaked form stood there, stepping inside and closing the door behind them, their gaze falling on the opal woman and the male at the bar.

She sighed. "Oh dear.. I thought I had more time.." she turned towards the form stalking towards them. "Beyd!"

The form pulled his hood back to show a male who looked much like the girl, having similar skin, hair, and eyes. His hair, though, was cut short. "Do not 'Beyd' me, Os Condraer... you purposely left me."

"You were not letting me see anything! This is the one time we get to go out and explore, and you just wish to go all this way to our destination, only to return right after. It is a waste! They say the best chef, who has earned the title of Divine Chef, works in this very building! I wish to eat here." she paused, "How about... you go on ahead and let them know I am in the city, and let them know where they can find me. Once they are ready to see me, then we go. It has been many months since my letter, and it would be very rude to show up suddenly while they may be unprepared or busy. We have much to celebrate! It would be shame to-"

"Twenty years is no reason to celebrate..." the male sighed. "Very well, I will go and let them know we will be in the city." he began to bow ever so slightly, but stopped himself before turning on his heel and leaving.

She sighed a little, shaking her head before turning to Carvin. "Alright, so I am not entirely alone. But he hardly let me see anything, so I escaped from him when I could." she laughed lightly, "I suppose it made him angry."

Carvin listened to the pale woman as she responded about the types of people that she had met. After which she began to explain how she believed that being alone would make her more safe than traveling with a group. It was a rather naive belief in his opinion. He prepared to tell her as much whenever another person entered the Guildhall. It was almost immediately obvious that the other person, who reviled themselves to be a man, was in fact a traveling companion of the woman with which Carvin had been speaking. He then listened to the conversation that passed between the two, while also watching the ways in which they held and expressed themselves to each other, and so he was able to easily deduce that the woman was clearly someone of high status while the man was obviously meant to be her escort and protector. They didn't speak long before the woman convinced the man to leave in order to announce her presence to someone that they were supposed to meet with. Who also sounded like a person of importance. After the man left the woman turned back to Carvin and spoke to him once more.

After she had finished her comments Carvin gave a slight smile and replied "So, let me see if I have this right. You clearly are a Lady of importance, probably the daughter of some high ranking Lord, or possibly a person of even higher status. The gentleman is your escort and guardian and tends to fret over even the slightest deviation or delay in what he believes to be the best course of action for the two of you to take. So he's probably been assigned to watch over you by one or both of your parents, but most likely a protective father. You're here to celebrate a landmark anniversary on some sort of agreement, or at least what would be viewed as such by the humans who the agreement is with, however it is only considered a trifle to your own people who must have much longer lived lives. Finally, the reason why you have not been accosted by the more irreputable members of society is because you haven't actually been traveling alone. This has given those who would've tried to overtake you pause because there is no obvious signs showing who you are and therefore no signs to suggest that they might be able to get much off of you, and at the same time your companion has been enough to convince those who might have tried something otherwise that it would be too much trouble because it's clear he can handle himself well enough. Otherwise you would've been molested while on the road because even with that riding cloak it's easy to recognize you for the beautiful woman that you are. This is why I was hard-pressed to believe that you had been able to travel safely while being alone. Hopefully by what I've said you'll be able to better understand why your watchman would be angry at your disappearance, and why he would want to just be done with your trip as soon as possible in order to keep you safe." Once he was done speaking Carvin continued to wait for his order to be delivered while also waiting to see how the woman would respond to what he had said.

"This 'ere be what'cha lookin' for, lad!"
The man look to the roof of the tavern, it was certainly a tavern, he was not so sure if it had any resemblance to that of a great beast's scale. Eston returned his attention back at the old local, who had been subtly nodding his head with a warm smile, perhaps remembering fond memories built within the inn.
"Head on inside young lad! You be a fine adventurer, perhaps swoon the inn keeper!" he paused, Eston with a perplexed look.
"Just jokin' wit'cha! Kadissna be a few hundred older than humans, and you look like yer' a young face. How old is ya lad?" the old man asked.
"I am twenty-four years old. Within a few weeks, I will be twenty-five. Initially I uh... I wanted to leave much later, arrive in Azuria when I had reached the first quarter of my life."
"Ah, leavin' home never an easy wager, lad." the old man said, giving a look of sympathy; he too, had left home and took refuge in Azuria. The old man patted the red-cloaked burden on his back, giving too solid pats, his expression changing back to his aged yet bright smile.
"I best be headin' back to the port. Me lads be relyin' on me with the sails. Many wishes of luck, young lad. Freiya's spirit be with you!"

The old man had disappeared within the sea of people, Eston now left to himself. People had been passing by behind him, some giving him an odd look, others with curiosity, as to what a man like him could have under the red burden he carries. A regular, ink black crow, one similar to that of which he summons, had dug it's way out of a small opening at the top of the red covering, shaking it's body little by little out of the hole. The creature let out a soft caw, climbing it's way onto it's master's shoulder, tilting it's head in all sorts of direction, examining it's environment.
"Is it well hidden, Faruh? Can anything of it be seen?" Eston asked, still examining the building, watching all sorts of people come and go. The crow let yet another caw, identical to the one it had let out before.
"Good." Eston spoke, letting a quick sigh out.

"Remember, withhold your curiosity for now, Faruh. I do not know anything of this new world, nor do I know if someone is hunting me here. If you do not wish to die and be reborn in pain, I urge you to heed my words."
He waited, yet he heard no response.
"Faruh?" Eston asked, looking to his side. His companion was not on his shoulder. Eston heard a giggle behind her which made him turn. A little girl was fascinated and happy with the crow, which perched itself on an arm she held out. she stroked with a small finger, from the top of it's head to it's neck. She giggled when the crow had let out another caw. Eston had given a look of subtle defeat; he raised Faruh, and he very much knew he was a bird of much curiosity.
"Faruh, IEit vahn kaht." Eston softly spoke out, the crow staring to him eye to eye. Yet another Caw which made the little girl giggle again. Faruh had returned back to his shoulder, Eston glad that the girl had not held a look of disappointment, she seemed satisfied with the short experience with Faruh. Her mother had asked for her hand again, which she held, waking side by side, looking back with a smile, waving at them. Eston and Faruh looked back, Eston giving a subtle smile, giving a slow nod to the girl.

Eston turned back to the tavern, still just a bit nervous. His companion had assured him the armor was well hidden, yet still he felt tension within his very nerves. For all he knew, Necromancers, practitioners of dark arts, and Lichs have a bad reputation to the general public, and are famous for their notoriety on bounty boards within Inns housing hunters, heroes, and adventurers of all sorts. Hiding books was easy, hiding a lich's armor was not. Those sensitive to magic would be able to sense it's power on a dime; further hiding it if found out, could raise suspicious towards him, still he had to deny and keep it hidden. He let a burdened sigh, fixing his gaze back at the Tavern's entrance.

I will be fine. with sheathed sword to my side, and a cloaked burden behind my back, I look nothing more but an ordinary human with an unusual cargo. All is as should, all is, as should.

Eston had made his way through the doors of the Dragon's Scale, taking a few moments to observe inside of the inn. People had already taken seats around the place, none of them really seemed someone open to talk to, aside from the employee waiting near the entrance. Some looked battle-hardened, while some looked of royalty, filled with richest beyond what he could fathom. Eston had approached the girl and gave a small smile.
"I am Daelius Sigmon Soreli. I am just a traveller." he spoke in a quite voice, loud enough that she could understand well of what he said without having to lean over.
"I thank you for your hospitality!" He continued, bowing his head before walking to find an empty table to rest. He was cautious passing by other tables, subtle with his movements, making well sure that he had not brushed any of them on the shoulder as he walked past. He settled at an empty table, one that had at least another table in between where he sat and where everyone else had harbored. He slowly descended down, kneeling to settle the heavy burden on the floor, a subtle yet audible thud on the floor could be felt when it had made contact with the wooden floor beneath it. Eston had settled down on a chair, Faruh scooting on the length of his arm till his scaly feet reached the wooden table. The Avian picked up the menu with it's beak, holding it out to Eston who had grasped it by the other side of the menu, examining it's contents.

Eston thought upon what should he order, while his companion Faruh let his keen eyes observe the room, watching the many faces that surrounded them.

That was not as hard as I thought it would be.

As Repter ate, he paid little attention to everyone else. However he did smirk when the older human put a knife to the little rat. That did amuse him to a great extent and through that Repter found a liking to Carvin.

He finished his plate and drink. He left it on the bar with a couple of swords. He didn’t care if he’s paying to much. It’s not like he is going to run out of money anyway. A matter of fact he’s probably the richest being in Azuira. Though all of his wealth is back at the mountain.

Retper gave a small burp, followed by a puff of smoke. He took his spear and quietly walked to the corner furthest from the entrance. He needed a little time to gather himself. Quiet a bit happened in a spam of minutes and he needed a little recovery. Especially after what happened with Alexandoriel.

He found himself infront on a table. Moved the chair out of the way and sat on the floor. He still found his upper body above the table top. If he had sat in the wooden chair he would have broken it as he almost weight half a tonne. He leaned his spear against the table and took off his battle claws to put them away.

Repter stared at the table and traced the markings, thinking...
I will have to mend the relationship with Alexandoriel. What I did was out of place and I shouldn’t let small humans talk to me in such a rude manner. Next time I won’t be so silent....
He wondered however, how they would of reacted if he said he is a ‘prince’. In fact he is similar to them. Run aways. Although Repter didn’t sneak out.

Repter looked around the tarven.
I will stay here tonight and maybe nights to come.
With great power, comes great electricity bills.

Valeria closed her eyes, her brother and their small company had ridden almost non stop since they left the last city they had been in. Since her brother had felt like someone was following them, whenever she had looked behind she had not seen anyone. Leaning over quickly whispered to her brother who nodded to a couple guards to stand and go with her outside to walk around. Valeria shook her head, she hated that she had to have guards, but she knew better then to argue with her brother about it. Picking up her cloak pulled it around her shoulders, reaching the door pulled her cloak over her head and she groaned as she saw one of the guards, it was her the captain of her personal guards as she knew that she wouldn't be able to explore as much as she would have liked. Pulling the hood of her cloak over her head, as one of the guards stepped forward to open the door for her. Looking back at her brother stepped, into the sheet her two guards following.

The woman listened to his rundown intently. She clapped lightly in delight. "Oh wow! You figured that out just by our conversation? That is amazing!" She smiled. "But he always has been like that." She replied, turning and resting her elbows on the counter, her chin resting on her hands. "Hm... maybe I need a better way to not stand out as much..." She watched as Zephora placed Carvin's food down in front of him, before the Chef went to the man who had just sat down to get his order. "that must be the Chef. I bet the food here is amazing." She smiled, then realized something, looking back to Carvin. "Wait... you think I'm beautiful?"
