The Legends Legends are a type of entity which exist in this universe. They all vary in appearance, personality and power. All Legends gain power from certain emotions felt about them; these emotions are fear or admiration. Having more power grants Legends many advantages including a higher maximum Idol capacity, bigger and safer personal realms and greater strength.
These advantages cause most of the powerful Legends to interact with humans in some way on the regular as to increase their power, usually sending out their Idols to perform publicity stunts as to bring the media's attention onto them.

The two most powerful legends currently and ones which the plot will focus on are:

THE WATCHER

-Unlike many of the other Legends, The Watcher realised the power of admiration and tries to use it along with fear.

-The Watcher's Idols are treated the best and their actions are highly-published.

-He is in strict competition with Bellmauth, she currently isn't as powerful as him but is creeping up.

-Rarely appears in physical form.

-The Watcher's realm is highly-fortified and includes a large mansion which houses all owned Idols.

-Missions are often set for Idols to go on, missions can include eliminating targets or terrorising specific areas.

-Idols are given an alternate form so they can travel without gaining unwanted attention, this form is always humanoid without any unnatural features.

-Idols are free to leave The Watcher's realm whenever they please but must always use their alternate form.

-Idols are revived after death

-All of the Idols are granted improved strength, agility and defence, making able to best any human in combat.

-Previously thought just to be an urban legend and is just starting to announce his presence fully.

.

BELLMAUTH

-Owns no more than 10 Idols who are all female.

-Idols are given a separate form but it is only accessible on missions.

-Bellmauth sends her Idols on missions at least every few days

-Missions always include the murder of a Male.

-It is no secret that she wishes for The Watcher's fame and power.

-The normal form of Bellmauth's idols always has blacked out eyes and
striking features so she can identify them.

-Hasn't changed her strategy for a while.

-Hardly receives attention for her killings as they just look like regular
murders.

-A few of her Idols had betrayed her and moved over to the watcher's side.

-Immediately replaces any Idols she loses.

Idols Idols act as workers for their Legend. All characters made will be owned by The Watcher, the most powerful Legend currently. These Idols in particular are mainly used as a representation of The Watcher, they are often sent out on missions for publicity which are mostly destructive.
Although Idols belonging to The Watcher are often made to do tasks, they still have an amount of freedom unmatched by any other Idols. They are permitted to leave The Watcher's realm if disguised by their alternate form and are given many physical advantages.

The Watcher's Realm
This is were all of The Watcher's Idols are expected to live. The realm is dome-shaped and contains a mansion large enough to house all of The Watcher's Idols along. Realms are almost completely detached from earth and can only be accessed with the watchers permission.

Idols Idols are humans... or at least they were. Idols are humans who, once they died, were chosen to come work for a Legend.
At the start of the rp, Idols cannot die (this will change) but can be let go by their Legend, it's made clear that if they were to be set free they would just go back to being dead like they were before being turned into Idols. So Idols can hate what they do but stay because its better than the void of an afterlife in store for them.
All of the Idols are granted improved strength, agility and defence, making them able to best any human in combat. Some abilities may be unique to the Idol themselves though (this includes teeth, claws etc.)
Even though their morals may oppose it, all Idols have an attachment to destruction.

Note:
As you can probably tell, this rp is based heavily on the creepypasta universe (if you can call it that). As I have used a character from there myself (The Watcher = Slenderman) I'm going to allow people to also use them too. I'll be using one myself along with an original character. You can reserve the characters if you'd like.

Name:
  • Her real name is Harper Ann Potts but she prefers to be called Newbie.
Age:
  • 17, though she claims she feels far older.
How long they have been an Idol:
  • Approx 3 years under Bellmauth's command, 4 months with The Watcher.
Weapon:
  • Doesn't have a go-to weapon but generally uses combat knifes with can be easily carried and stored on her person.
Bio:
  • Harper was born and grew up in South-West London, she had a completely normal life. She was generally a reckless person but caring and attentive to her friends needs. There was nothing at all strange about her life until around year 13 when she met a charming, older man and instantly fell for him. Harper believed the relationship that she had with the man to be true love. Although it was clear that the man didn't return those feelings when he brutally murdered her in a ritual.

Bellmauth saw Harper someone who's tragic life events could be harnessed into power as an Idol and took her in. The girl received the usual treatment, her eyes were blacked out (although they still worked) and her hair was turned a bright blue colour. Harper handed over whatever she could just for the opportunity to take revenge on her killer. Once doing so she attempted to settle into her new life as a new Idol for Bellmauth. The other Idols had been there for decades, she was new and inexperienced so was simply called "Newbie". The name stuck, she didn't like thinking about her old life anyway.

Newbie hated her life as an Idol for Bellmauth as she was confined in her realm for 90% of her existence. The Watcher may have noticed her desire to escape and offered her a place as one of his Idols. She was hesitant at first but eventually agreed, anything to get her out of Bellmauth's grasp. It was decided that during one of her missions instead of doing her task she'd be quickly whisked away into The Watchers realm. Despite knowing that if the plan failed she'd surely be killed, Newbie took the risk and it paid off. She ended up as a regular Idol under The Watcher's control, although the changes Bellmauth made to her appearance stayed.
