[Reyn]

Edgar Vernon is a Cambridge-based author who started out writing dry historical papers and ended up in the far more exciting (and lucrative) niche of surreal and experimental horror.

He is perhaps most well known for the award-winning Solitude novels- a six-part series drawing heavily from his own experience of isolation during his earlier adulthood, albeit with the more nightmarish aspects being born purely from his imagination.

Despite these sources of inspiration, much of Vernon's personal life is a complete mystery- one that he leans heavily into when constructing his public persona. So far, he has not confirmed any of the rumours about him... but he hasn't denied any of them, either. Still, whether the author himself is supernatural or not, his supernatural fiction surely speaks for itself.
