Extended Temporal Control
A look into the theoretical applications of radial geometry with regards to The Embodiment.

The engravings provided in the back pages of this book have two unique characteristics not found in practical applications of temporal-alchemic transferable radial geometry. Firstly is the notable absence of a temporal limiter, which would usually be put in place to prevent a catastrophic paradox that would likely swallow the user whole should they attempt to activate the engravings. Such a limiter would not be needed with a being such as The Embodiment, as (theoretically) it would exist as a temporal constant and, thus, would be unaffected by paradoxical forces. Secondly, there are sections missing from engravings II, IV and XI, due to the reliance of the Point of Origin and the Sign-Bearer. Potential examples of these are included in small print below the relevant engravings, but, as such things do not exist in reality (to my knowledge), they could not be accurately portrayed.

For the purpose of illustration, the Point of Origin used in this book will be a windmill located in Cambridge, and the Sign-Bearer will be young, male, and from approximately two-hundred years in the past. The Area of Intended Effect will be Norfolk.
.
With regards to all non-living things (and, in the event of physical contact, all theoretical immortals of indefinite or infinite lifespan), temporal behaviour in a sufficient radius around the Sign-Bearer functions similar to how it would at the Point of Origin: at the will of The Embodiment. Radius is key here, however; as the engravings only provide an emulation of Origin, the scale at which The Embodiment can exercise its control is entirely reliant on how close it is to the Sign-Bearer and to the object it wishes to affect.

From a long distance (e.g. from Cambridge to Norfolk), the maximum size of objects which can be affected is equivalent to one large cart, or a stable door (to name examples). From a direct distance (e.g. at the Area of Intended Effect with the Sign-Bearer present), the maximum size is near-limitless; it is entirely plausible for The Embodiment to flatten a castle, simply by will alone. At this distance, direct contact (i.e. when The Embodiment's physical form is touching an object) could result in a paradox, ripping the object from its place in time and altering it according to the temporal dissonance of the Sign-Bearer (e.g.two-hundred years). Both non-living objects and theoretical immortals could be affected, although those with a finite lifespan that is below the time of dissonance will not.

It kinda bothers me that the words aren't level with the bottom of the page.

if you were really obsessed you could get the text into photoshop, use the warp transformation tool, then make it line up with the pages, but im literally about to fall asleep and i wont do that
