Trump

Post by AeronGrey » Sat Jun 16, 2018 8:17 pm

The purpose of this thread is host a debate on the current political issues surrounding what the POTUS and his administration. The topics are many and varied so I won't even bother attempting to make a list because more pop up every day.

Let's start off with the new topic that everybody is talking about concerning the administration's policy of separating children from their families when they cross over illegally into america, and blaming it on the Democrats.

She seeks a face she thought as friend
But now -- she thinks as judgement's end

But in all seriousness, considering The Washington Times of all people are saying this is an issue, it's probably an issue. I don't see it being blamed on Democrats, though; most groups acknowledge its administration mishandling in the DHS.

I'm uncertain where the debate is? Most consider it a bad thing, and most agree it is a thing that is happening.

A lot of people say it isn't a bad thing, but a good thing because it deters mothers from illegally coming into the US with their children.

This is just badmouthing Trump for the sake of badmouthing Trump.

At least set up a proper discussion starter before assuming everyone is going to hop on the bandwagon, lazy ass.

Okay, now you started something. Go on.

I don't think anyone on this site is going to seriously disagree with you. Some might for the sake of an argument, though.

Austin and ShaFlow come to mind. There actually used to be a lot of Conservatives who came to Ethics&Debate (but can't remember names.) Even Pav is pretty Conservative, if I recall correctly.

I mean, if they're irresponsible enough to illegally cross with their children, it says a lot about them.

They should get their own papers in check first (And their children's) before even trying to cross. It's not about being conservative or not, it's about thinking before you act, else the government will retaliate. Happens everywhere, and people deal with it in smarter ways other than this.

No, this is not bait.

Yeah, they should have left their children behind in the often dangerous, desparate situation they were trying to escape.
