I was always confused when I read the stats for Glass objects and found that they were better than Iron or Steel objects in RPGs. Thanks for the explanation.

On the topic of mechs vs tanks, I reckon mechs win. Here's a statistical breakdown of why I think so:

Image

As the graph explains, the awesomeness-units of mechs far outweigh the awesomeness-units of tanks. This is sound evidence that mechs will win against any tank you pit it up against with a 60% win rate, taking the tank's 60 awesomeness-units and the mech's 100 awesomeness-units into account.

Eeh, I'm pretty sure the Scorpion from Halo could take the Mantis.

At least the Mantis would look cool while being torn apart by tank rounds...

Alright, seems like a survey is in order to determine the true winner. Would you rather play

a) Titanfall 2 and Steel Battalion (or another great game revolving around mechs)
or
b) World of Tanks and Battlefield 1

I think jhib was saying of what would win in terms of the weapons and everything not the game itself XD.

His graph is in "awesome" units, not damage output.

That and any weapon a mecha could use could easily be put onto a tank or added to a single person fighter
