This is a thread for just, like, general poetry as well, right? Cuz if so... I've got a few... Some cheesy romances, some just weird.

Uneternal Sleep

Heaven give me say,
From beyond a world of madness,
Not tomorrow,
Never again.
The wait is over.
Abandon ordinary vanity
and the fear of the dark.
Don't cry.
The reverse will is the white noiz
Of the prisonic fairytale.
Don't panic.
Follow the leader
Through the dark corridors.
Only you have found the rising sun
In the bitter season.
The interference of the love psalm
Is the Devil's call.
The terror in the depths of the fog,
Pyramid Head,
Hungers for the tears of the moonchild.
Garbled is the promise
Of my justice for you.
I'll kill you faster
Than the children kill.
Welcome to the abyss,
The dirty outskirts of my heaven.
Laura plays the piano:
The Devil's lyric of the killing time.
Alone in the town
And in hiding from the approaching death,
From the promised mutilation,
You panic again
In the heaven's night.
She is slowly killed by death
In the overdose delusion
Of the Silent Hill otherside.
Hear nothing of her return to Silent Hill,
And her wail of warning
Of the pyramid pursuit.
Promise the ashes and ghost
That the black fairy will die
Under the null moon
After the half day.
Until death,
The reflections of your betrayal
Never end,
Never end,
Never end.

It opens and so I click
An image, suspended reality
Within my grasp I hold the key
To forsaken duality.
As I tap the black mirror
My own face, shown in the reflection,
I reminisce about the days back when;
The times when it made sense to be kids.

Not green nor red nor orange may ever show
If you stay invisible for your reaction.

So from this bliss
I ask - I beg for hope to wean
A soft embrace
Around my wrist
The gentle touch - and longing kiss
But in my fist
Is only faith
I catch my dream - a simple scene
But lose all chance of grace
I like the internal rhyme very much and the volta with 'fist' is provoking.
A stylistic thought;

I reach for silk
It slips

My fingertips -

If you see what I did there?

Eric senpai noticed me. O.O

You're right, that is a lot better at connecting to the imagery of something slipping between fingers. I'm still learning how to convey imagery with structure, I mostly just wrote block stanzas for the longest time.

And, thank you!

Caw goes the raven

Croak goes the frog

But tall and tender buffalo

Makes not a sound at all

Sometimes I wish

The quarrelous could

Learn from him as I

To still their tongues

And in herds run

Over the cliffs

…and die

I'm quite fond of the Silent Hill imagery in this one.

The Day of Night

Reflections in the null moon,
The half day is a welcome to the terror in the depths of the fog.
Return to the dark corridors of Silent Hill
And the strange decor of a world of madness.
Hear nothing of the death shamble
And the other breath of the morbid nurse.
Suddenly awake,
Nothing else is as horrific as the wail of warning.
The Pyramid Head comes.
Alone in the town,
The hungers of the moon child,
In this prisonic fairy tale never end
Never end
Never end.
The wait for the promised mutilation is the overdose delusion.
This faith leap into the abyss is my justice for you.
After the betrayal,
In this silent heaven,
Only you will panic again
In hiding from the approaching death.
I'll kill you.
The rising sun is a promise of tension in the heaven's night,
Killed by death.
Don't Cry.
The darkness that lurks in our mind is far from the reverse will.
The children kill from beyond my heaven.
Follow the leader into the forest along the forest trail,
To the dirty outskirts of the Silent Hill otherside.
Laura plays the piano,
A garbled love psalm,
Sombre and admitting fear of the Angel's Thanatos
And the tears of the ashes and ghost,
Found in the white noize that kill angels.

Thanks. this one, and the other, was actually created with titles of Silent Hill songs.
