They were ok, I need to go back and rewatch them again now that I'm older.

The Force Awakens was just fan service wrapped up in a movie, but this was just utterly boring. The movie definitely shouldn't have had the run time it did. I could count countless scenes that could be cut out, and didn't matter in the end. Some 'serious' parts of the movie I genuinely had a good laugh at, whilst the actual 'comedy' bored me to no end. I expected this from a Disney 'Star Wars Film', but nonetheless, these are critiques.

I also just saw the audience score has dropped to 49% on Rotten Tomatoes for the first Star Wars movie to have a mostly negative reaction.

Like it or hate it, can't deny this is the most hotly contested Star Wars to date.
