Stoic Rebuttal and you don't have artifacts in play? Shaaaaame
Alone she drifts from ancient mists
Nary a candle, nary a wish
But in the wont of wandering paths
Through wooded knolls, and windworn crags
She seeks a face she thought as friend
But now -- she thinks as judgement's end

I don't use artifacts very often. I only keep maybe two or three in a deck, not counting artifact creatures.

Why would you use metalcraft cards if you ONLY HAVE TWO OR THREE ARTIFACTS

Didn't have any substitute spells, and I really need the effect? XD

Doesn't matter now, though, because I scrapped that deck. Got a pre-assembled Planeswalker deck from the new Ixalon set. :3

Oooh, pirates!

I haven't been keeping up with the sets since Theros.

I'm actually trying to get up a black and blue pirate deck. XD

My sister appears to be going with a blitzkrieg setup, but I keep having to warn her to use only a few strong creatures and keep costs low.

Edit: Never mind, the image just loaded.

If she wants blitzkrieg, she's better off with low cost haste creatures and an emphasis on instant buffing

That's what I keep saying. She's not one for listening though, which is why she can never get a good early defense on the field. I usually keep a bunch of low cost (1-3 mana) creatures and about three or four tanks (5+ mana).

And, when you consider their abilities, my low cost creatures are actually more powerful because they're incredibly hard to kill or block (black FTW).
