I've been getting into Alestorm, a pirate-themed metal band, and they are both great and hilarious. Celldweller's other project, Scandroid, as well. Starset is also great, and I know My Demons from when it first came out. Jammed out to it all the time, I can cover it perfectly with a vocalist. In This Moment isn't bad, and there's a Russian group called Arkona I like, though I don't have a fucking clue what she's saying half the time. I know nothing of Russian, but it's nice to listen to.

Oh, but I love Alestorm so much. Their gimmick is hilarious, and the music is actually awesome. Shipwrecked and Drink have to be my favorites.

Let's also point out Saint Asonia. Adam looks so different now than he did in Three Days Grace, but that distinct sound will never go away. There's a lot of recognizable voices, and Adam has one of the most distinct. He's done great with Saint Asonia.

Is it a sin that I still haven't listened to a whole bunch of Linkin Park? I love the sound they have, The Little Things Give You Away is one of the most emotional songs to ever exist, but I never hear them on the stations I stick to.

Here's a reccomendation for a pirate rock song:

As for my favorite piece of music, it would have to be Zero from Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, it's pretty much Keiki Kobayashi's Magnum Opus:

I'm not much for the hip-hop genre. Doesn't quite get me moving except to change the station.

Im very very picky when it comes to that. Mainstream hip hop of current day is for stupid people. I mostly listen to older hip-hop like Mobb Deep, Tupac, Biggie, Wutang Clan, Naz, Rakim, Eminem and those kinds of artists. Def-Jam Rap es best rap. Gotta love me some DMX just so I can let the hood side of me let loose.

Of course my usual playlist is of electric stuff, rock, foreign music, music from Indie artists and OST's.

I always thought how beautifully orchestrated the music was in Ace combat when your getting blown to high hell because the A-10 lacked serious long range weapons

This thread needs more metal. I'm not talking the "I'm sad so everyone else should be" stuff nowadays. Im talking about ripped up acid wash jeans, leather jackets, beer shirts, denim vests, and Harley Davidson's kinda metal.

My entry include Judas Priest, Havok, Pantera, Slayer, Mega death, Metallica (real original I know), Black Sabbath, Lead, Suicidal Tendencies, Exodus, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Over kill, Machine Head, Annihilator, and Motor Head.

My newer days entries include Ghost, Mastodon, and Radkey.
