Lacona Coil~ I absolutely love them. Currently I'm hooked on The XX and Stateless. Which is low key electronica.

I really got into them after Blood, Tears, Dust. Quite meaningful because my mum had a nasty few years with heroin, which is why she's in the States. To get away from the people who got her hooked.

Blue Stahli's Takedown, too.

While we're on this topic, any instrument players here? I mainly play guitar, I can shred a 7-string, though my classic white gem is still great. I can play Cello, viola, and violin as well. My main, original pieces for contests in Peterhead and here in Colorado are done with guitar, though.

And no. Even though I'm Scottish, I lack the lung power for bagpipes, instruments based on breath in general. That's what Jimmy plays, and he does that pretty damn well.

I casually play guitar, but I'm classically taught in the flute, piccolo, clarinet, and bass clarinet. I've been playing guitar for three or four years, but I'm in no way amazing. I've been playing the four other instruments since I was 9 or 10.. so like five or six years?? I don't know, man, fourth grade was so long ago

I'd love to have the power to play reed and brass. I tried trumpet at one point, but I can't keep up with even average trumpet players. I'm great with hands-on instruments. I taught myself guitar for the most part, learning scales with the handbook it came with. It's an awesome instrument, universally used across all genres of music. I learned Viola after I started guitar, violin two years after. I have two years on the cello. I can at bass and double bass, but I prefer the mellow sound of a cello, and the much more manageable size. Guitar has been my best, though. I'm practicing a lot, taking more advanced classes on weekends so I can eventually learn to play pieces from Buckethead, the man who got me to try and learn guitar, though KoRn, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Seether, etc inspired my conversion to the hard Rock and metal genres, which is what I've played for a year. I'm great at covering songs from my favorite artists instrumentally.
