How many do you keep in there?
That's not necessarily a good thing. Your ideas are precious, and if it doesn't launch right away that doesn't mean you should give up. It doesn't mean the idea is bad or boring, it means the right person isn't around yet or isn't ready to do it with you yet.War Mango wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 5:49 pmWow. When I start one and it fails to launch I figuratively burn it down to the ground and never think of it again or try it on another site (only tried that once).
I do that with character sheets until I lose interest in the charcter. Like Marvel Mutants, will never RP as one of them again.Killer Ice Cream wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 5:54 pmThat's not necessarily a good thing. Never give up if you like an idea enough
That's pretty smart. I don't know if I could ever try some of my old ones again. Some of them didn't feel like they would be interesting a second time. But I guess everything is with time.Monika wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 8:31 pmI've been doing this long enough to know that there are trends. Things people are interested in at a moment in time. Most of my RPs at one point in time were popular and went somewhere. They died out, then I wait a bit, try again, and just sorta throw out the line and see what hits.
Those intros also include some of my first ones from like... 17 years ago. lol
If you're interested in codes and cyphers and serial killer mysteries, I've got a group roleplay in Casual I'm trying to start. It's just labeled as an 'interest check' at the moment, but I'll be writing out something proper for it tomorrow. Feel free to check that out if you want! It's called Cypher.
