See? I'm very, very literal when I right.

Words are silly things
They never really mean
The thoughts - so crisp
And wrought with hidden strings
Perfect craft in mind
But daftly contramimed
By peddling books
And muddled looks
That only add to brew the sludge
We make with pen or tongue
Or lungs
Bleating out in passion
Partly rationed simplizations
Of pure pictures
In our heads
That feel so real to us
Yet we stay mussed
With vulgar word instead
Alone she drifts from ancient mists
Nary a candle, nary a wish
But in the wont of wandering paths
Through wooded knolls, and windworn crags
She seeks a face she thought as friend
But now -- she thinks as judgement's end

Touch my soul with your fingertips
-It's what you do best
Tear down the walls in my mind
So that I can finally rest
Break down my heart's barriers
-And let yourself in
Destroy all doubts and fears
With fingers on my skin
Silence the screaming inside
By your lips on mine
Melt away my pain and sick
And string them on a line
Burn away the nightmares
So we can finally sleep
Take whatever you want from me
-For it's yours to keep
You are my heaven tonight
And I'm in love with you.

Tell me that you love me
Because I need you so much
And though I claim that I'm strong,
Know I'd crack beneath your touch
Tell me again that I'm beautiful
Because I only believe it from you
And though I joke and say I know,
Understand I don't have a clue
Tell me one more time that I'm good
Because I don't believe it's true
And though I'll agree and smile,
It really hasn't broken through
Tell me, please, that you love me
Because I need you so much
More than my words can convey
And it's you I long to touch.
I
Cant
Remember
Anything
Anymore

My mom wants to write a poem for the poetry club, I guess. Here it is!

Thundering beats
My heart pounds as the air rushes
The power, the control or lack there of
My lance pierces the wind
a tornado force glancing off glistening steel
The smell of sweat and leather fills my senses
I roar with glee as we fly
my dragon smiles

Oh, and here's one from me

A broken web, just hanging there
Beside it, stands a spider
Mourning her home, she never roams,
'til death came up beside her.

Building a web across that path,
there's now another spider.
He's small but strong, with legs so long,
He makes himself a hider.

Not far from there, with fading hair,
A man jogs down the road.
He's coming fast, for his old age,
Right at spider's abode.
