Cassandra had almost made her way to the deck when she ran into Frederic, "Stay safe," she simply told him as they walked past one another. On deck a small chaos had already began spreading, "Focus!" She yelled. "This beast wont stop unless we gravely injure it, or it has destroyed the boat, so get your arses armed!!" The warriors all looked at her in bewilderment. "Get your goddamn spears and bows. We can talk about the cost of items when that Wyrm is dead." The elves stood for a second, "What are you waiting for?! GET TO YOUR POSTS SOLDIERS!" she yelled.

It seemed to work out so far. The elves didn't rush everywhere in a confused haze anymore. Cassandra moved up the ship until she got to the crow's nest. She'd have to jump from the beam holding the main mast if she were to transform, which she knew she needed to do. "What are you doing?" the soldier manning the position asked, "What I need to," she said as she moved out on the beam, and then began running towards the end.

A great deal of the elves looked on at her in fear, fear that she should fall and die, but Cassandra didn't care. She ran across the beam until she reached the end. And then she jumped. She knew she had limited time to transform before she hit the water and it'd been for naught. Her true form was everything but useful in water. And then she did it, transformed. Where her elf form had been before, a massive 10 meter tall, 20 meter across bird with flame like feathers hovered in the air, pushing the ship slightly back with the flaps of its wings. "That clears that out," her voice said from the bird form, but not out the mouth for her beak didn't move.

Fredrick took note of Cassandra's words as he made his way across the deck, catching sight of the sea wyrm. His mind flashed back to the time before, as the smell of ashes filled his nose. In an instant, the boat disappeared from around Fredrick and he was in the middle of a burning city. Surrounded by darkness and the derelict remains of old buildings, he heard the sound of people running around him. As if from out of nowhere, various people ran by, frantically scurrying from the horrors that occupied the black void. On occasion, he could hear the screams of the groups that tried to run. Sometimes he didn't, which worried him even more. Then he caught sight of Kara, guiding another group from the ensuing chaos. He could never forget the look on her face, and he never wanted to see it again. Flashing back to the present Fredrick's old instincts kicked in.

"Everyone, ready yourselves. Stick together. Don't lose sight of the person next to you." He said, a small aura of an unknown blue energy surrounding him.

Kara, who'd been on the deck, was also preparing for the fight. From the palms of her hands small fires erupted.
During a test look up for inspiration, down in desperation and left and right for information.

The Wyrm looked at Cassandra's true form with a look like bewilderment for a second before it roared once again. The sound didn't bother Cassandra, she'd head worse in this form. As the Wyrm stopped it's scream like roar Cassandra opened her break it respond. A scream like that it an eagle was released from it. But her sound was more than just an eagle's it was like mixing the king of beasts with that of an eagle and then pitching it slightly. The Wyrm had told her to get of it's territory, and she had responded with disobedience, in mortal terms, she had told it to bug off.

The response from the Wyrm was quick, as it launched itself towards Cassandra ready to bite off a wing, but Cassandra evaded it and gave again, tearing one of her talons into the creature making a rather long shallow cut in the creatures side.

Tarroc watched as Kara ignited her palms, and he felt a flash of nervousness, knowing how dangerous these beasts could be, not for his own sake, but for hers. He didn't imagine it would be any safer below deck than it was above deck however, and even if it was, he didn't have time to argue and get her to a slightly more safe location. He instead tensed the muscles in his legs, crimson scales creeping along the flesh of his legs as he leapt up off the deck, his wings sprouting from his back as part of the transformation he was undergoing from a man to a dragon.

The process was rather.... unpleasant to view for anyone else. His form swelled, the sounds of all of Tarroc's bones cracking and snapping filled the air, and his flesh split and tore as his swelling form revealed scales. The transformation lasted barely five seconds, and when it was done, there was a massive red dragon in the air next to the boats, huge red wings flapping, causing the sea underneath to churn and slap at the boat from the force of his wings beating. The heat radiating off of Tarroc's true form was god-awful, easily around five to six hundred degrees.

Tarroc turned his huge head towards the sea Wyrm, and he roared, the sound not quite as loud as the wyrms due to the lung difference, but the dragon's roar was FAR deeper and more guttural than the shrieking-scraping sound of the wyrm's roar. With mouth open from the roar Tarroc released a wave of fire from his mouth, and the flames struck the side of the wyrm, causing steam to erupt from it, as well as the sound and smell of cooking flesh. The wetness of the wyrm negated some of the fire's damage, although it was still rather painful for the sea beast.

Cassandra noticed Kara shortly before Tarroc revealed his true form. "So this is the true form of a dragon?" she thought. She had of course talked to dragons before, never with joy, but never in their true form. She made an internal picture of the form, every scale and how it fitted into the scale beside it, above, below, and in front of it.

She made way for the flames as her wings Obviously wasn't made of flames, but rather bright red and yellow feathers that seemed to make the effect of fire as air passed through them. Meaning that if her wings were to catch on fire she'd drop into the water, straight into the reach of the Sea Wyrm. "ARCHERS!" she yelled, "AIM FOR THE EYES. EVERYONE ELSE GO FOR THE MANDIBLES." Even as the Wyrm was writhing in pain and screaming Cassandra knew that it wouldn't leave. Their territory was not a debatable matter and they would never leave it. But Cassandra also knew that it couldn't leave a fight or other Sea Wyrms would claim it's spot and leave the territory less Sea Wyrm to die the death of starvation. Too horrible of a fate for her to give the gigantic beast.

"Tarroc," she said "Keep it distracted for a few minutes," she explained and flew down towards the deck of the ship she had just been on. When she was about 20 meters away from it she changed her form roll diving onto the deck. "Kara," she said and made her way towards the half elf, "I need you to do something, or rather draw something." She said and took a hold of Kara's arm.

Tarroc's head swiveled towards Cassandra, and although he didn't speak, and didn't make any motions to signify his understanding of her words, he turned back to the beast and he roared at it, clearly challenging it. His wings pumped, keeping him aloft, but he dove down towards the Wyrm, slamming into it with all of the force that a multi-ton entity slamming into something with full forced possessed. The beast was larger than Tarroc was, but he had the advantage of more mobility, not being confined to the water like the sea monster was. The size and weight difference meant that, while Tarroc hit the beast like a TANK, it didn't send it flying, or knock it over. Being mostly in the water DID help against hits like that.

Tarroc clenched his claws, digging them into the flesh of his opponent, but the beast was so large that there was little damage, serving more of an annoyance than a legitimate threat it had to worry about. The pain did pierce through to the Sea Wyrm however, causing it to turn its head to face the Red Dragon, letting out another shrieking roar, aimed right at the pesky dragon. As the beast roared at him, Tarroc roared right back at it, but his roar was backed by more of a punch than its was. Another wave of fire was released by the dragon, slamming right into the face of the Wyrm, causing its roar to turn into more of a shriek of agony, the sound and smell of sizzling and burning flesh filling the air.

Tarroc pumped his wings as hard as he could, digging his claws deeper into the Wyrm, trying to keep its attention on him, while also trying to prevent it from diving back beneath the waves. If it did, it would be able to burst up from under the boat, destroying it in seconds. The dragon, while very large, was still smaller than the monstrosity it fought however, and it took all that Tarroc had to keep the beast above the water. He wasn't sure what Cassandra had in mind for a plan, but the sooner she could implement it the better, because he didn't know how long he could keep this up. It had been a LOOOOOOOONG time since he had fought anything that was noticeably larger than him.

)(If this seems a tad too powerful tell me in the chat and I'll tweak it tomorrow.))

Cassandra sensed that Kara was conflicted, and probably wouldn't get the quickest result from her. So she turned to one of the mages aboard the ship. "You," she said loudly and pointed at the man, "follow me for a moment." After a moment of hesitation the man followed her to her room. Cassandra gave the man two pieces of parchment, and a quill filled with a thick bluish liquid. And then some instructions on what to draw.

The end result was a circle with 8 smaller circles in the circumference, each of the smaller circles was filled with a rune, counting 8 different runes all in all. Each rune was connected with lines to others, some had more than one but it was mainly a single connection, forming 2 squares and a triangle. "What is this?" the elf mage asked. "A spell circle." Cassandra answered, "And in minute you'll see the effect." She said as she ran up on deck again.

After making her way up to the crow's nest and out the mast she jumped, but instead of what she did before, she almost immediately transformed. "Tarroc!!!" she screamed, "Pull the boat away in 3 seconds. See if you can hit the eye!!!" She commanded, before she flew up in the sky.

Exactly 3 seconds passed before Cassandra changed her shape again. But this time, she knew her form would die. The circle she could use, but she didn't have enough magical energy to stay alive after using it, but she also knew that she had to. Speaking the activation words, then the names of the runes.

The parchment burned up in her hand, only to materialize as 3 magical circles in front of her right hand. The biggest circle sported a triangle, the symbol of fire, the others two squares in a 90 degree angle to one another. The air around her responded to the magic in casting and heated up to several hundred degrees. Cassandra could feel the heat singing her flesh, but she endured the pain. Air escaped her hand, and flew across her face as she fell and casted. But it didn't matter, she needed just one word now, and if it was audible or not didn't matter. She moved her mouth to form the word, and then...

A massive beam of concentrated heat scorched the air and sky, crashing down upon the sea Wyrm singing the flesh with a fire more than a thousand degress hot and several tens of thousands at the center. That was the circle, an amplification to Cassandra's true magical powers, powers she no longer possessed as the veil was turn down between here and the magical world. The beam lasted only a few seconds, but where it had hit steam was rising from the water, and a seared sea Wyrm was left in it's wake.

Cassandra's body turned to dust, only to resemble further down, but she was still unconscious, as she hit the water with a loud splash.
