Uriel shot awake with gasps for air he didn't need. Siegfried nearby snapped his attention to Uriel, assessing the situation at a glance and coming to the quick conclusion that it was only a dream.

"Awake are you? Are you rested?" Siegfried asked, outwardly it appeared that Uriel was physically fully rested and ready to go. However, he hadn't recovered fully his magical energy. Uriel looked to Siegfried, puzzled and then spoke quietly.

"Who...are you? Where is Faeed?" Uriel looked around the area. He felt safe around Siegfried for unknown reasons. Maybe it was because he recognized him, but in all the chaos that happened last night he didn't remember a whole lot of it. He remembered Belia being taken. He remembered summoning Siegfried, but why was he still here? Uriel glanced down to his wrist where the five orbs still appeared with one still pulsing.

"You are keeping me here Uriel, as long as you want me to stay. I am Siegfried La Moore the King of Aurora. You are my creator and you summoned me here to protect you and Belia." Siegfried spoke gently to Uriel and easily kept him reassured. Uriel believed him, there was a connection and understanding between them that Uriel could identify. "Faeed left during the night, I assumed either to find rest away from us or to scout the area."

"You're a king?" Uriel asked confused. "King of what?"

"I'm the King of your people. Do you not know of the Aurorians?" Siegfried sounded concerned as if he worried for the state that Uriel was in.

"Aurorians?" Uriel asked another question. It seemed there was much that Siegfried knew that Uriel didn't... "My people?"

Siegfried paused some time before speaking to Uriel again. "Do you know about the others?"

"There are others?" Uriel seemed stunned at the idea that Siegfried wasn't the only one. There was so much information coming in so suddenly from this brief interaction and Uriel didn't know what to do with most of it. What was Aurora, who were Aurorians, what did it have to do with him, and who were these others?

"I see...you must have lost any knowledge from before..." Siegfried sighed in a small defeat. It was going to be a lot of effort filling in Uriel with all he knew, but talking was something Siegfried was good at. "I'm sure Faeed will be returning soon. We should get our things ready for travel."

--Faeed, Uriel, Siegfried---

Faeed stayed up within the tree, his eyes closed as his form balanced perfectly on the branch. He was lost within his Reverie but his tall ears perked up when Siegrieds voice broke the silence of the nature surrounding him. This didn’t draw him from his meditation, just merely allowed him to retain what was to be spoken of between the two. Everything about him was silent, even the gentle breeze blowing his long black hair across his armor didn’t allow for a sound nor a whistle as if blew through the small openings within his armor.

So it seemed that even Uriel knew nothing of this creature that he had supposedly created out of thin air. This had caused a ripple of mistrust to curl around his thoughts of Seigfried, but then again, there was already tendrils of doubt about these two formed within his mind. He hadn’t lied to Siegfried when he stated he would protect the smaller male but that didn’t stop him from coming up with another plan, should these two betray as so many had before.

Was Siegfried trying to manipulate Uriel into his crazy beliefs? Was he now going to have to protect Uriel from Siegfried? All these questions and more began to flood his restful thoughts, only to cease as he stared into a set of eyes within his mind, seeming to become even more entranced during his meditation.

--- Belia, Isace, and Rasbrent---

The body would twitch and turn in its slumber, the rest becoming peaceful for a few moments at a time before the restlessness became to much to bare. Isace was having trouble settling into this new form and the one who owned the flesh was not willing to simply hand it over as so many had in the past. Belia was strong even in her weakened mental state, and the slumber seemed to only allow her to become more possessive of the form. This wouldn’t be as easy as before, but perhaps, this would allow Isace the ability and strength to pursue her goals without the frailness of the humanoid form causing her to await a new form, for gods only know how long.

A loud snap caused Isace to sit up suddenly, the eyes, one black wisped, the other green, were wide in surprise before they latched onto the individual beside her, the chain in hand as he used tools to pry the links open. Her instinct was to lash out at him but Rasbrents presence and quick words ceased the thought rather quickly.

“Its okay M’Lady….He is just removing the chains…to aid you…” His hand reached out to stow her from moving any further. Isace held his gaze a moment before slowly laying back down, the clink of the link giving way before the chain fell to the stone floor. This mysterious man moved to her ankle on the same side, pausing as she twitches. Rasbrent watched her for a moment, noting the difference this time as his Queen continued to try and settle in the new form.

“She is a spirited one…..” Her voice would escape her lips before she closed her eyes again to fall back into the peaceful slumber, satisfied that Rasbrent was present to protect her should he find herself in need. Her form would continue to twitch, at times, seeming to reach out towards the man removing the chains, though he was much faster than the slumbering woman.

Uriel nodded quietly in agreement. Travel would be best, staying in one place too long could draw attention and get them caught.

"How do you know so much?" Uriel asked curiously.

After a moment of laughter, Siegfried brushed his hair back with his hands and strapped his greatsword to his back. "I've been through and seen a lot in my time."

"I thought I just created you though? How could you know so much in your time if you've only just been born?" Uriel was confused.

Siegfried didn't answer, not right away at least. "I'm not quite sure, although I have a theory."

He pondered it for a few moments longer, pacing back and forth with his hand resting on his chin. In this time Uriel just stared at him expectantly, awaiting the answer to come.

"My theory is this. You created me, there's no doubt about that. However I feel all of these memories and carry all of this experience with me. So who's to say you didn't create these memories and experiences as well?" Siegfried turns to Uriel and holds a shrug for a moment. "My other theory is that I'm not an original copy and somewhere out there, in Aurora, there's another version of me who's going about their daily life...likely dealing with some Noble Lords and trying to get out of meetings so that he can go adventure. I know that's what I'd be doing."

Uriel tries to follow along, and does so rather successfully. He doesn't know if it's right, but the concept makes sense to him like most concepts he has come across before. The concept of alternate dimensions, split timelines, and working in higher planes of existence where time and space are irrelevant. However in his form there was nothing he could do about it. Was it possible that the power surge Belia had given him, awoke the power of creation in him? Were there other things he could make? Other people with entire histories he could bring to life out of thin air? It seemed preposterous and yet here Siegfried was, a physical evidence of exactly that. Uriel looked at his hands and remembered the ring again. The flashing orb symbolized his summoning of Siegfried. There was only one way to really find out if he could support those claims...

"Uriel...don't..." Siegfried held both hands up to signal peace. He knew from Uriel's body language what he was thinking and for once, Siegfried had no idea what would happen. He was a little scared as to where he would go should Uriel release the spell. "I'm here to protect you, we can figure it out together, there's other ways to find out how this works. I do-"

The blue pulsing sphere turned solid, then the five spheres disappeared. Siegfried had vanished. Uriel looked around to see what had happened, but there was no evidence that Siegfried had even been there, aside from an indention in the grass where he had stood before he disappeared. He was simply gone with no flashy lights or mist or fade. Just gone. Uriel was now alone with no idea where Faeed was or when he would return from the woods.

---Belia and Isace---

Belia’s form laid on the bed, the chains removed from the implanted shackles and the darkness surrounding her. There was silence in the room, a deafening one, and it would have normally bothered Belia. She hated the silent darkness. But to Isace, it was blissful, reviving to her senses as she found small ways to settle within the form, Belia’s refusal to accept her making it difficult but she felt more aligned within her.

-Within Belia’s Mind-

The two stood in a boxed room with two contrasting tones on each sides. Nothing was in each half other than themselves. Standing stoic, they each stared at the other; studying each other thoroughly. There breathing in sync with each others, their hands at their sides; an equal amount of space between them. Belias side was pure white, blinding in comparison to the pitch black of Isace’s side. The contrast between the two colors causing the other side to seem even more pure, drawing out the intensity of both. A deafening silence surrounded them, not even their heartbeats could be heard within the place.

Belia stood with her back straight, her legs parted as her bare-feet hold her form up on the white bottom of the box. Her legs were covered in thin, loose white pants, a tie at the waist, her torso covered with a white tunic that hung loose on her frame. Her hair was vibrant crimson and hung in curls around her shoulders and her eyes glowed with an intense green. Her half pointed ears raised as she sought out a single noise from the being across from her. Her expression was that of a wolf stalking a threat near their cave.

Isace mirrored Belias stance and even her expression as she stared back with her pure black eyes. Her skin was that of a pure onyx, wisps of darkness seeming to be a constant movement of her entire form. The black gown clung to her upper torso to her waist before it hung loosely with a drape to the dark bottom of the box. Her hair blew to the side as if a constant breeze was blowing, though there wasn’t. She stared intensely at her prey, determined to break this poor little spirit. To tear her apart or simply allows her to take over; either way, she was far more experienced at this game, though most of her prey would have already broke, making this far more interesting.

With synchronized steps, they both move closer to the middle, each side holding their colors true even as they stop within arms reach of the center, where there was a sharp line of contrast, the colors not merging in the middle. Their gaze chased over each others form before returning to gaze back each others eyes. Raising her right hand, Belia reaches towards the border, Isace raising her left hand to mirror her the actions; both their fingers touched an invisible area between them, a sizzling can be felt between their fingers before they both jerk back their hands.

---The Room - Isace and Rasbrent---

“Isace…You must rise….You have to get dressed for the journey….Carriage leaves in a few moments…” Rasbrent was waking her gently before she sits up suddenly with a gasp of breath, one black wispy eye, the other green as Belia’s always were. He noticed the difference and a look of concern crossed his face. A frown marred his face before he rose and moved towards a closet, pulling open the door and began rummaging within. Isace moved her feet over the edge of the bed, her gaze traveling about the now candlelit room before she rose up.

“Here…put this on…The King will enjoy it…” He laid a gown on the bed before he moved to stand before her, his finger raising her chin as he peered into the two toned eyes again. He shook his head before letting her chin go. “M’Lady….you need to complete the process before we arrive there…” She already knew this and a glare was shot at him before he stepped back and bowed his head. “Very well…I’ll leave you to it…” He then moved towards the door, closing it behind him as Isace began to dress. He stood guard, as he always seemed to do.

After several minutes, she opened the door, her hair pinned back and the gown flowing over her form and the clicking of her heels on the stone resounded through out the hall. With a quick glance towards her, he nods once before escorting down the hall and down the stairs, making their way to the large black doors of the entrance to the tower.

Outside, sat a large black carriage with several black stallions that seemed to be just as wispy as her eye. They were creatures created from Shade essence, much like the shadows that had been used to capture Belia prior. Isace ran her eyes over the beasts, intrigued by them before the carriage door opened. Arwen sat in the drivers seat, a cowl covering his disturbing features, the poor man still a hostage to the Shade Essence.

She moved to climb into the carriage, her form settling as she crossed her ankles and tucked them out of the way, her hands coming to rest in her lap. Rasbrent came to sit across from her, his hand coming to rest on his sword as he stared at her. Isace scoffed at the attention he held on her before gazing out a partial opening in the curtain hiding the window in the side of the cart. Rasbrent sighed and looked away before knocking on the carriage wall, the door being closed prior to their carriage beginning to take a trail through the woods.

---Faeed and Uriel---

Faeed had heard most of what was occurring back at the camp before the silence disturbed his Reverie. Opening his eyes, he gazed up at the moon and saw the distance it had made during his time absent. It would be enough for the time being and with a yawn and a full back stretch, he looked around for a moment to assess that there was no threat below his branch. With a sudden thud, he dropped to the ground below, his armor making less noise than steel would have, but still tinking none the less. He moved his way through the woods, his eyes looking around before he found the camp…And Uriel alone.

His eyes narrowed as he looked around for the giant man, not an easy object to lose track of before he looks back to Uriel. “ Where did the King go?” He moved to stand near Uriel, his eyes quickly taking in if there was any injuries from a battle he had perhaps been absent for before looking back around. He felt uncertain about the situation now, having at least had three people before resting, and now he hand only himself and Uriel.

"He's...gone..." Uriel looked up to Faeed. He wanted to explain it to him, but the caution and skepticism on his face made him reconsider. Uriel's voice was wavery. He felt like he was in danger, at least he felt comfortable around Siegfried, Faeed was still a stranger. "Uh, he disappeared before I woke up..."

Uriel was lying. It was obvious, but it felt more like an innocent child trying to get out of trouble than it did a clever deception. However, an easy glance would show that the spheres around his wrist were gone. If Faeed had noticed the connection between it all from the fight beforehand and his spells during the barrier event, then it would support the claim that Siegfried really was gone.

Uriel started to feel a little sick to his stomach. It felt bad to lie and it only made it more obvious, however it further showed proof that it wasn't malicious. Uriel shifted on the ground near his bag. His ears caught wind of something nearby, but it was his soul that screamed for his attention. Belia was nearby...

---Isace and Rasbrent---

They sat in the carriage as the Shade horses pulled them along, their forms bouncing as they found rocks and dips within their path. This particular one was not commonly used when traveling through the woods, to many tales of vagabonds and thieves using this road to steal the goods of carriage drivers. And so this was the preferred path to get Isace from the tower to the lands of the King.

It had been silent between the two as they began their journey, Isace staring out the window and Rasbrent staring at her the entire time. It disturbed him that she hadn’t been able to settle into this form as easily as she had so many times before. The single green eye a constant reminder to him that Belia was still there, she hadn’t been consumed instantly and that could only mean that she was fighting for control. Belia had been chosen for her strength and abilities but he hadn’t expected to encounter this kind of strength from her.

“If you are going to continue to stare, at least tell me why…” It was Belias voice that had parted the lips, though it was Isace speaking to him. She would shift her gaze from the window to stare back at him with both toned eyes. Her expression blank, making him fidget a moment before he straightens his back and leans back into the seat.

“He will kill you if you go in like that….You will be defective…” His words were stern, attempting to stand his ground to her.

“I told you…I am working on that…We have several days travels to get this resolved before we reach the castle…I will win in the end…You know that as well…” Her eyes had narrowed as she spoke the words to him.

Rasbrent dropped his gaze from hers for a moment before he brought his thick digits up to cover his lips. They held their gaze on each other before she turned her gaze away. “Do you forget your place Rasbrent? I am certain I could remind you where you stand and what your curse is…”

He remained silent and still, his eyes falling shut at her words before he turns his face away. He didn’t want to speak on it anymore, he never did. And to have it be Belias form saying these things to him as well only stirred deeper angry issues.

---Uriel and Faeed---

Faeed had looked down at Uriels ring before looking back towards the mans face. He narrowed his eyes before tilting his head a bit. “You really are the creator….Most interesting magic Mage…” He noted the lie and the reaction it seemed to give Uriel and a frown crossed his face. This creator before him was so good and pure with his intentions that a simple lie would bother him so much. It intrigued him, but was cause for concern with him continuing the travel with him.

Faeed wasn’t exactly pure in heart, though he did his best to stick with his own moral code. This meaning some of his tactics have never been approved by even Bastlu, but if it was for the greater good, he would do what needed to be done. There was a distant neighing not far from them that drew his attention from the younger man before him. He took two steps in the direction of the sound before his shoulders raised.

“Someones coming….in a carriage…” He narrowed his eyes before he turns back to Uriel. “Get up…We have to get out of this opening before they pass through up there…” He motioned to where the trail would enter the opening for even just a brief moment. He picked up both their bags before nodding to Uriel. “Lets go…” He began to walk past him in a direction opposite of where the sounds of the carriage started to grow louder. “We will hide in the brush until they pass…”

Creator. Uriel wasn't used to being called that. First Siegfried and now Faeed even. Faeed was impressed by his abilities and that made him feel a bit better about it. When Faeed mentioned hiding, Uriel had to speak up.

"Faeed...it's Belia." Uriel said with worry, yet excitement. "She's nearby!"

Uriel followed Faeed to the spot of hiding, but continued talking to Faeed. "I know she's course by, I can feel it...could she be in the carriage?..."

Uriel was able to hide with relative ease. He was small and the brush they hid in was think enough to cover him from head to toe in a crouched position. He looked to the path the carriage was coming from. Belia's presence grew ever more apparent in his soul. She was getting closer, it was unmistakenly her. Uriel wasn't the only one who could feel this sensation either. Belia could feel in her soul that Uriel was nearby.

Her eyes slowly pulled from the window she was gazing out of to the other window, her brows furrowed gently before she draws a finger to her lips. There was this sensation, something that she didn’t understand nor ever felt before. It peaked her curiosity. The sensation though seemed to grow the closer the carriage made it to the camp. Rasbrent took note of the look before knocking on the carriage wall to the driver. As the carriage came to a halt, the dark essence horses snorting as the come to a halted trot. The driver simply stared forward as they came to a stop in the encampment.

“Stay in here.” Rasbrents voice was firm and caused a bit of a sneer to form on her face. She never liked it when he got commanding with her. Rasbrent opened the door and exited, making sure to close the door behind him before casting his gaze out into the woods surrounding the encampment. He was searching for any sound, any noise that would give away someones position.

Faeed placed a hand on Uriels shoulder before lowering them both into the brush. He watched the scene before him carefully before he softly whispers to Uriel, ‘Are you certain she is in there?’ He kept his gaze on the strange man with a slow growing sneer, his hand moving down to his ankle where he pulls a dagger free and blindly moves it into Uriels hands. “What ever is going on…this doesn’t look promising…”

~~~
Within her head, Belia and Isace both looked around in their respected positions within the cube. A smile crossed Belias face for a moment before she settles her eyes on Isace’s confused expression. She took the several steps towards the middle of the cube, Isace moving to meet her, neither allowing their challenging gaze to part ways. Belia would part her lips to speak Uriels name before she narrowed her eyes at Isace, something about simply thinking of reaching out to Uriel seemed like a terrible idea while this woman of black stood before her.
Sneering gently she reaches up to the feel the invisible divide that separated them still. She couldn’t make out in her thoughts what it could be that kept them from touching each other. Even the dark beast seemed bewildered by this divide and it became obvious during Isace times of low temperament.
~~~

Rasbrent pulled his sword free before beginning to make a round along the perimeter of the encampment, on an occasional stabbing the tall grass and bushes with the sword before moving a few more steps and attempting again. He looked to the fire that was still burning strong and then where Siegfried's form had rested in the grass, a confused look on his face before he kept looking around for any other signs of life.

Belias form though pushed open the carriage door before climbing out, her gown coming to flow down around her as her heeled shoes touch down on the grass of the ground. The single black and the single green eyes scans the area slowly, her now scar less face twisting into the look a predator has before stalking their prey. Her eyes stare at the section that Uriel and Faeed was hiding in.

Uriel kept low in response to Faeed. He watched the carriage pull up and come to a stop. He felt Belia inside, it was unmistakable. He whispered to Faeed, "Yeah, I'm sure it's her..."

First, Rasbrent stepped out of the carriage and into the clearing of the camp. Uriel held his breath at the sight of him. It couldn't be, could it? The man looked familiar, scary familiar. Uriel felt like he was in danger, like this man exuded an aura of lethality. Cold steel suddenly being pushed into his hands was the only thing that could break his paralysis. What was he going to do with the dagger, kill this man? The guy was three times his size, had a larger weapon, and a willingness to tear Uriel to shreds without hesitation. Each sword thrust into the bushes across the way gave Uriel a shiver in his spine. What really made him shake was the stare that...Belia? gave him. That was her, but it didn't look like her. His soul screamed for her, she was there, right there, but something was very off that he couldn't explain. She looked different, but she felt the same. What was happening? Uriel was flooded with a mix of emotions, ones he was familiar with. Fear first and foremost, the fear of Rasbrent, the fear of not knowing what happened to Belia, yet death wasn't his concern, pain was. Next was anger, he was angry at Belia for being caught, he blamed Rabrent for doing this to her even though he didn't know if it was him or not. He held guilt in his heart too, Belia had been changed for sure and part of it was his own fault for letting her go, if only he had been faster, more powerful, this wouldn't have happened.

Regardless of how he felt, him and Faeed needed a plan. A plan that would allow them to get Belia to safety and get rid of Rasbrent. Wherever they had been headed, Uriel couldn't let them get there. This was a chance to get her back and move on from this. He held the dagger close to him, somewhat awkwardly since he hadn't trained much in knife combat, mostly magic and a bit of swordsmanship, but not this close of fighting. Since that was the case, maybe he could still rely on his own strengths to work things to his advantage. After all, Faeed would be able to cover him in the areas he lacked. It was set, Faeed would serve as the front line and Uriel a supporting role. Hopefully Faeed would be able to follow his lead. Uriel had a plan, but it would take a bit of luck...

"Faeed..." Uriel whispered once again, "I have an idea...let's hope this works..."

Uriel had faith he could pull this off, but he still didn't fully understand how his powers worked, so it was a bit of a gamble. Hopefully Faeed would pull his weight in this and be able to capitalize on Uriel's plan. However they just didn't have time to dive into details and so this would be a true test of their ability to work as a team.

First, Uriel laid the dagger onto the ground, leaving his left hand touching the hilt. His ring activated, the orbs appearing, one began to pulse. This was dangerous, as the orbs would give away their location if they hadn't been hidden by Uriel, Faeed, and the bushes. To help with this Uriel used his right hand to pull his vest off and over his wrist to cover the orbs, they were safe now. The pulsing orb had symbolized the activation of his spell, which caused the dagger to grow happy, whiskers, legs, a tail, until it was completely transformed into a small mouse. It looked like a mouse and with a few squeaks, sounded like one too. Again, these were bad as they might give away their location, but it wasn't the end of his plan. Next, although unseen because of his vest, a second orb would pulse. This next spell had caused a pile of feathers to appear next to them, slowly it swirled silently and began to form wings, a beak, body, until it turned into a fully grown barn owl. Perfect, he had the two parts of his plan ready.

The mouse didn't seem scared of the owl and the owl had no interest in the mouse, however when Uriel whispered to them, they listened to his words. "I need you to kill this mouse and carry him over that man over there, then drop the mouse directly onto his head. Do as I command."

Without hesitation, the owl sank its talons into the mouse who didn't resist the kill. The mouse let out a squeak of death and the owl took fight away from the bushes toward Rabrent. It flew silently, making absolutely no noise as owls do when they fly. Once overhead, the owl dropped its prey without warning and the mouse hurled toward Rabrent. This was Uriel's chance! An unseen orb stopped pulsing and caused the mouse to revert back into a dagger, now headed point down at Rabrent and looking to pierce its way into his head.

Belia’s form watched the owl to emerge from the bushes she had been staring at, a wide grin crossing her face as she watched it fly above the unsuspecting Rasbrent, whom continued his searching of the woods. *..Uriel…* Belias voice would fill Uriels head, though there would be a darker undertone with her voice, something different than he had heard before. Raising a hand to her mouth, she cleared her throat before taking several more steps from the carriage. Hearing her throat clearing, Rasbrent turned towards the sound before growling in agitation, his lip pulled back in a sneer as his eyes narrowed at her.

“Isace! I told you to…” His words would be cut off as the dagger clanged against his pauldron, his attention now shifting towards the dagger as it falls amoungst the grass. Belias form would smirk as she continues to walk towards Rasbrent, her eyes never moving off the spot where the two were hiding. With a wave of her hand, shadow essence seemed to flow from under the sleeve of her crimson gown to swirl around on the ground before quickly collecting into the figure of a shadow mastiff.

“Shit.” Faeed stated loud enough for Uriel to hear before he started to look around quickly before looking to Uriel. “Lets hope those magic classes taught you how to handle this creature….I’ll take the tall dark and gloomy one….you get the pet…”

Rolling his shoulder before he stood up and pulled his sword from his sheath, before he walks out of the bushes and locks his eyes with Rasbrent. Both men stood with straight backs, a sneer marring their features before they start approaching each other. Belias grin grows at the chaos before her before she moves over to where the fire still roared, her eyes and attention directed now at the dancing flames.

The two man began to circle around each other in the opening while the mastiff sniffed the air and moved towards the bushes, the shadows dancing over his fur as he moves closer to the bushes where Uriel still was.

“You should just let her go…and be on your merry way…” Faeed warned Rasbrent as he spins his sword in his hand.

Rasbrent would chuckle at his words before he stops circling, his eyes locked on the elven man. With a quick lunge, he raised the sword and brought it down at the man, his long black hair swirling behind him. With just as quick block, Faeed pushed the man back with his sword before the two engaged in a dance of swords, each one getting closer to contact. The ringing of their swords and armor contact rang throughout the small encampment.
