Uriel remained in the bush for a moment, thinking over his next plan. He had to act quick, the hound already too close for comfort. However, even now, he was able to keep calm. He was putting faith in Faeed that he could, at the very least, distract Rasbrent while Uriel went for Belia and the shadow mastiff. Uriel took a few things into consideration and used logic to come to his conclusion. The shadow mastiff wasn't a real threat. If the creature was anything like those shadowy specters from before, it would be brittle. Fast for sure, he'd have to eliminate the shadow mastiff quickly because it would easily outmaneuver Uriel on foot. His main concern was Belia. He had to get to her so he could help her with whatever it was that had happened to her.

Uriel began to act. First was his trusted barrier. So far he didn't know its limits, but he was hoping that it wouldn't be tested now. Next he stood from behind the bushes, his vest still wrapped around his wrist to cover the now two glowing spheres. Since Belia knew what they meant, he decided to keep them covered so that he could keep the number of spells he had active a surprise. His next move was simple, kept his right hand at his side, but attempted to stealthily motion it to the ground. After a few moments, out from behind the bush leaped a large cat like creature and lunged toward the shadow mastiff. The feline had white fur that illuminated its surrounding area like a lantern and caused the area to become brightly lit. If the cat connected, it would go for the back of the neck with its powerful jaws and a feline growl.

Uriel used this time to move around the fight and make his way toward Belia. He still held focus on the bright cat, it took some energy to do so, but he believed he could hold it long enough to do what he needed to.

Belia's form stood staring at the fire with the clashing of swords and roaring beasts surrounding her. She held a royal poise, straightened back and every hair in place. Her hands were clasped in front of her, the dancing flames casting shifting light and shadows over her form. She could hear the rustling in the bush that held her attention not to long ago, and it caused a grin to cross her face.

Faeed battled with Rasbrent, someone who seemed to match every strike with the best counter. Neither men could truly land an unexpected strike and thusly they continued to play the game of block-thrust as the time ticked away longer.

Uriels feline had caught the mastiff off guard, as it had not smelled the beast prior to its approach. Its bright bite sank into the back of the beasts neck, a loud roar escaping it as he thrashed about to disengage the searing cat. Though, it didn't shatter and dissipate, it stayed and fought the battle back with the feline.

As Uriel.approached Belia's form, she turned quickly on her heel, the grin ever present as she peers at him with one black eye and one green eye. "Uriel is it? How delighted I am...to meet you..." The voice was Belia, the form. Though altered, appeared to be her. She knew who he was and yet there was still this darkness in everything about her.

"Play nice...won't you?" She whispered to Uriel as she leaned in towards him.

It was Uriels approach that distracted Rasbrent enough to falter in his skill. He shoved Faeed back to turn to go after Uriel, though Faeed moved with haste back forward and threw Rasbrent to the ground. As he was preparing to rise back up, the cold kiss of his sword rested at the base of his neck. Faeed stared down at the man before shaking his head, a tsking sound escaping him.

The cat and hound would continue their battle until Belia's hand raised to the side of Uriel. The essence that had created the beast began to flow back into her hand, her eyes though never leaving the deep gaze into Uriels.

"What happened to Belia?" Uriel slowly put pieces together. The discolored eye, the new darkened powers, even her look had changed. The best explanation was that Belia was being taken over. His studying with Master Wiclif brought memories of creatures and beings that were able to possess living people. There was magic powerful enough to override someone's soul. It was a scary thought, not having control of your own body. Uriel couldn't sense the presence of Isace. He remembered Rasbrent calling her name when he tried his attack.

"You're Isace? You're not Belia, but you hold her form. She's inside there somewhere..." Uriel questioned back. He didn't think he'd have to confirm his identity with this spirit. She already seemed to know about him. "I can't say the same with meeting you..."

The mastiff could shake free from the bright beast, but not before getting slashed at with its two powerful front claws. It seemed to Uriel that in this moment, they were winning. He knew though that it could change quickly and dangerously. He didn't understand what she meant by "Play nice...won't you?"

"Who are you spirit, what do you want?" Uriel asked curiously. Now was the moment to gather as much information as he could before acting so rashly. He had to stay level headed. He was cautious, the same way he was cautious with Faeed and Arwen before this. He continued to focus on his spells to keep them going. Luckily his barrier didn't take much to hold onto, the cat took most of his concentration.

Belias form would straighten its back as she watched Uriel to speak, allowing his words to spill forth as she simply continued to smile at him. She didn’t pull from him nor did she have any apparent apprehension of him. Her gaze would hold some wisdom behind the two tone eyes, but she kept the gaze solidly on his face. The crimson gown flowed down to settle atop of the grass near the fire circle to the right of her. The shadows and light dance over her skin, obviously causing her no pain or agitation, just seemed to cause the appearance of the two within one all the more intriguing as it became visually difficult to know which one stands before him, though he knew who he spoke to.

Faeed kicked the sword out of and a fair distance from Rasbrent’s grasp before motioning for him to rise up, his blade at the ready for any sudden actions. Rasbrent sneered at him before he rose back to his feet, his eyes quickly though leaving Faeed to focus on Isace. His hands curled into fists as he watched the interaction between Uriel and Isace. With a quick shove from Faeed from behind, he cast a glance back at him before moving forward to the campfire, though directed to the opposite side of the fire from Uriel and Isace. Faeed stayed silent, his eyes glancing over Belia’s form before focusing his attention on Rasbrent.

Isace slowly grinned at Uriel before she looked towards Faeed and Rasbrent. A small laugh escaped her at Rasbrents expression before she turned her focus back to Uriel. Her eyes now take the moment to trace over his form, taking in everything from his attire before landing back on his eyes.

“You know who I am….I have what I want…” She answered his last questions first before she tilted her head a bit. “ Pleasure can come in many forms…even if you are not pleased to meet me…you are pleased none the less to see everything else…”

*Uriel…Don’t play her games…* Belias voice would flutter in the back of his mind as Isace stared at him still. A laugh would escape her as she shakes her head, a small tilt of her head.

“Games…as if that is what I am about….Really.” Isace spoke to Uriel before she turns to face him more directly. Her hands remained clasped in front of her as she stared at him, a single brow raising before she tilts her head in the other direction much like a curious kitten.

Uriel was confused what she meant? Was she trying to seduce him? Uriel was pretty naive in that area so if that's the case, it didn't exactly work. It appeared that Belia was still inside there, the voice was unmistakably hers, yet he didn't feel anything happening to her. She was safe for now. He didn't know exactly how to get to her. He didn't know any magic that could get him closer to her. Not at this state, he'd just have to talk to her.

"Where are you going?" Uriel looks to the carriage and then to Faeed. Damn it, why hasn't Faeed killed him already? "What about a trade? What's so special about Belia anyways?"

Uriel genuinely didn't know. He didn't know a lot of things that were happening. He just had to go off of what was in front of him and what was in front of him was a possessed Belia who refused to answer his questions straight. It was starting to frustrate him and he felt the urge to just blow them up or something, but he held fast. He pushed aside the urge and continued to think logically. With nothing for the bright beast to fight, it turned its attention to Rasbrent and Faeed. It circled around the two, eyeing Rasbrent as if ready to pounce should he act out of line and Faeed slip up. It stopped at the sword and sat in front of it, ready to strike when necessary. Otherwise it remained motionless and quiet, waiting.

Uriel kept his attention on Isace now. He wanted to find a weakness in the facade, hoping to see a little more of Belia trying to poke through. Something that he could attack himself to and try to get her out, or Isace to leave. Maybe if he offered something that she wanted in exchange, but again Uriel didn't know what that even was. Regardless, he remained calm as he could given the situation he was faced with. Barrier up and creatures at his disposal, they still had the upper hand which only proved to boost his current level of confidence.

Rasbrent was the first to make a sound after Uriels questioning, a hearty laugh filling the air before he shakes his head, most of it stemming from his memory of Uriel in Sirens Call Tavern, the rest simply because of the thought of someone making offers for something already done. Belias eyes flint towards Rasbrent who then held up a hand to excuse himself, before Faeed kicked the back of his knee to lower him to the ground. His eyes catch Uriel’s look, his head tilting in question at him before he looks back towards Rasbrent.

Shifting her gaze back from Rasbrent, to Faeed, and then stopping on Uriel, she kept her poise and smile, not unnerved by the three men that stood before her. She held no stress, no concern and certainly no fear at this moment. She did have this air about her though, this different presence that lacked all the good that had been within her. The collar in place and the wrist and ankle bindings all in place and yet she can speak without the issues Belia had prior.

*Stop asking questions. Take action.*

Belias form would chuckle as she shakes her head to Uriel. She began to take several side steps from him, distancing herself from the three. Her eyes, though, bore into Uriels own, challenging him to not listen to the little voice within his mind. But she still wouldn’t answer his questions. Her grin slowly growing before she begins to turn her back on the three.

“Belia!” Faeed shouted at her, his brows drawn tightly in a concern for his fellow battle leader. She paused before looking back to them, her head shaking as she laughs at Uriel and Faeed.

“Belia is no more…” She looks back to Rasbrent before her green eye glowed the slightest bit. She looked at his smug face as he awaited to be released any moment. “You can keep him though…We will see exactly how loyal he is…” The words were spoken with spite, a single brow arching before she begins to walk back to the carriage, her grin growing. The horses would snort as she would begin to draw near the carriage, they were anxious to leave.

“Isace!” Rasbrent protested, though his tone held more of a plead than a demand. She wouldn't turn back to his plea, instead, it made her more than willing to simply continue her tracks to the carriage.

"Stop asking questions. Take action." Were the words that rung in Uriel's head. He heard them clear and acted upon them instinctively.

"No you're wrong! I can feel her within there! You won't be going anywhere!" Uriel held a hand up to them and the owl he had summoned before never got dispelled. He ordered the bird silently to plow its body onto Belia from behind, trying to knock her off her feet and onto the ground. This act would kill the owl and cause it to disappear, ending the spell on a success. Regardless of if that worked, he pointed a single finger toward the carriage. "You better start taking me more seriously Isace!"

From the end of his finger began to form a classic spell, yet so effective in its execution. It showed his level of power alongside his potential capabilities in the future. From the end of his finger a writhing sphere of flame quickly grew to the size of a baseball before being hurled forth with a mighty speed. Upon impact with the carriage it, along with the entirety of the carriage should erupt in a fiery explosion as the spell fireball does. That would leave only two spells active, his barrier and the bright beast who loomed over Rasbrent's weapon. Uriel was still confident that he was going to leave here with Belia, not Rasbrent.

His words only caused her smile to grow larger as she raised her chin up higher, a sense of pride filling the vessel that Isace was encased in. Though this feeling was quite misleading to the shadow being, as she thought it was her own actions that had brought her this feeling, when in turn it was really Belia from within. She felt pride for Uriel, what he had done to take a stand for himself, no longer running from his problems and the things he didn't understand. Such growth was appreciated only by only those who had survived their first battle to only survive their hundredth. The small steps one takes to become something greater than anyone had ever imagined they could be, a warriors passion and understanding.

This was distracting enough to distract the woman from the owl that soared above and soon took aim at her back, allowing the successful impact that caused her to fall forward to the ground. Her hands move out to catch herself from making complete contact to the grass and dirt below. A sneer crossed her face before his final words reached out to her, followed by the combustion of her carriage. The horses rear up high, their whinnies fill the air around them before they begin to dissolve into particles and flow back towards Isace, wrapping around her limbs and form before disappearing within her skin. It was a purely intense magical moment to watch the flows direction, the dance it made around her before simply vanishing from sight, as if it could have never been there this entire time.

*...thank you...* The words would fill his mind with a soft whisper of gratitude.

Isace would raise her head up slowly, her once perfect hair having dislodged several of the strands from their precise placement, now allowing them to hang before her face. She watched her carriage a moment before she looked over her shoulder to Uriel, the green orb focusing on him before she pushes herself back up to her feet once more. The owls impact hadn't caused any damage to the form she thrived in, merely knocking her off her balance unexpectedly. Her hands begin to brush off the grass and dirt from the knees of her crimson gown before she slowly raises the skirt up in her hands, her eyes staring at it for a moment.

A fury filled her as she turned quickly and moved with a hasted motion, a gift from the form she inhabited. She came to stop in front of Uriel, her face close to his as she releases the gown to flow back down to her ankles. Her eyes held a seriousness, her tone raised and agitated. She had given him the gift of Rasbrent and it still wasn't enough. This ungrateful man that stood before her with the audacity to stare into her eyes with an unwavering gaze. Who did he think he was? A gift to mortals everywhere?

"Stained! You stained my gown!" Though the words would normally be found cute when a small girl would say this to her playing companions, the darkness that was contained within this form found a way to make the simplest complaint into a situation with unnerving possibilities. She remained in his face, as much as his shield would allow her to be before the resistance could be felt, her form unwilling to back from him; no fear of concern about him and his parlor tricks. "You better know your next step, Boy. You don't want to waste my time any further."

Uriel could sense the pride of Belia, he let it fuel him. He had used quite a bit of magic already, he needed to be careful, should he run out. He honestly didn't think he would get this far. He thought for sure that Isace would have struck him down long ago. Since he still stood here however, there must be a reason. The power she held well exceeded his own. She could easily outcast him with her spells, he wouldn't be able to keep up with her pace. Maybe she knew something he didn't. He wished Belia could help him somehow, but seeing as she was already doing the best she could given her situation, her moral support would suffice.

"Isace, I challenge you! The winner gets Belia and your friend." Uriel hoped he could appeal to her sense of games. It wasn't like she couldn't win, but if she accepted it would have to be on his terms. "What say you? Will you be to cowardly to face a boy."

Uriel glanced over to Faeed. Uriel seemed confident, but there was a hint of worry in his eyes. Uriel would need some help with his plan and hoped Faeed would be able to supply that help.

Isace narrowed her eyes before she laughed loudly and shakes her head slowly to Uriel. She took a few steps towards the fire again. She crossed her arms and focused solely on Uriel now, both eyes glowing brightly.

“Even if I was to accept your invitation, I would be bluffing to allow you to think that I would be able to hold up on the preset end of my deal, within your offering. I can not simply release her…That is not how things are done.”

She looks to Rasbrent as she tilts her head, a finger rising to run over her lips before she looks back towards Uriel. She straightens her back and drops her finger before she narrows her eyes.

“And I find you to be greedy…Stuck in the mud of your own wants and needs…”

She shrugs before turning on her heels to look towards the path behind her, the direction she had been set to go earlier. She raises her chin in contemplation before she looks back to Uriel and approaches him once more.

“I will allow you to travel with me…”

She raises her right eyebrow before she crosses her arms over her chest again, her face stoic and held the same expression he had seen many times before on Bastlu’s face. She found herself to be superior in the situation she stood in now. Privileged even.
