Spy Academy [Reserved for xBlackxAcex]

Post by 12maori3 » Wed Dec 26, 2018 4:19 am

Modern day spy school. Think of this as Mulan + K.C Undercover. The girl's parents are spies/ninjas, whichever one you prefer. They are in a huge spy war and think their daughter would be perfect so they tell her they're spies, etc. The girl agrees to be a spy in the spy war but everyone there has been spies before and they're all mean to her, including the captain training them. Throughout the whole training, she proves him wrong and they start falling for each other.
CHARACTER 1:Name: Iris Shade
Age: 19
Personality:
~Mulan: Iris is outspoken, free-spirited, ambitious and warm-hearted. She does not seem to know how to follow rules and tradition, usually using her own thinking to complete her missions. This is due partly to her natural need to stay true to herself and her belief that she knows more than everyone else. Still, she manages to be respectful to those who prove themselves and will prove herself to others to earn their respect. She proves to be fierce, both physically and mentally, as well as self-reliant, impressionable, and persistent. As she learns the ways of strength and agility".
Bio: Iris has always known the kind of person she was, even from such a young age. Knowledge like that made her childhood even more difficult to handle as she knew what she was supposed to do, but usually did the opposite. Living life above average and bwing casted out for not being average almoat took a toll on her identity if it wasn't for her father who always reassured her that her uniqueness was a treasure. Now as a newly adult, Iris is told by her parents that they need her help. Just when she thinks she's found a group of people she can relate to, she quickly realizes that compared to them, she might be below average for the first time in her life.

CHARACTER 2:
Name: Andreas Vogt
Age: 23
Personality: Growing up in a German household, he was raised authoritarian style. His mother and father provided no warmth or care like the rest of the kids in the neighborhood. As a result, he lacks social skills. He has trouble expressing his intimate feelings and carries impossibly high expectations especially those under him. He relies on verbal and physical force to get his messages across to groom his students into hardened spies. With his thick exterior, he has proven to be a great leader, but he needs to work on being a compassionate human being.
Bio: Andreas' parents were hardly ever at home, so his teachers and nannies became his guardians. He was taught how to read and understand math and science by the best tutors the Vogt household could afford. He learned many crafts, but he committed many mistakes that did not go unpunished. The times his parents did come home to see their son's progress in school and extracurriculars, they didn't hesitate to beat and strike him when Andreas didn't fulfill their expectations. Time passed, and Andreas was only a shell of a man after his parents' treatment.
Other: He lost the length of his leg from just above his knee downwards when he was 15, so he wears a prosthetic leg.

(I'll get started!)

Iris sat at her same dining table she had been sitting at her whole life. She may not have made it to some dinners because she might have been stuck at the book store or library with her face buried in one of the numerous novels available. Or she the movie at the theatre hadn't ended early and she simply could not leave just minutes before the end of a movie, especially when those were the times very important secrets would be revealed. No, she certainly hadn't made it to a lot of dinners on time. However, she had seen this same wooden table so many times in her lifetime that it felt so normal, plain and more real than what her parents had just told her. In fact, if the wooden table suddenly developed the ability to speak and said that her parents had completely fabricated this lie, Iris would have believed the table.
"Honey?"
Iris's eyes snapped up from the piece of wooden oak they were all gathered around. Like normal.... It was simply unbelievable. In a way, Iris began to realize, it might have been believable.
"So...you two aren't accountants?" The question itself sounded uncertain, like she couldn't believe anything they said at the moment.
Her mother rolled her eyes but her father took her hands, "We are...in a way...there has to be a way to afford all this, right?"
Iris ignored her father's attempt to lighten the mood, "Okay...so why are you telling me this...why now?"
"We need your help, Iris. An enemy organization stole very important information from us. It's encrypted so it won't be much use to them right now. However, we need as many people as we can trying to get this file at all costs. That includes training a brand new recruit."
Iris shook her head as she stood up and began to pace along her living room, "Okay, but why me? Don't you you have back up people, or something?"
Her father answered this time. "Iris...all the karate lessons, Taek Won Do, all those classes you took...your above average scores on every major and national exam you've taken. Hell, your IQ score...everything you've ever done has proved you to be the perfect candidate for this. Your mother and I just didn't want to see it that way..."
Iris paused for a second. All her life she knew she was different somehow, she just couldn't put her finger on it. Now her parents were telling her there was a place she actually belonged? She would also be doing something with her time other than wandering around aimlessly trying to find some something challenging and worth her time. Now that it was summer, there was no school, only her summer job at the local ice cream place. As for the danger, her parents would never let her do something with the thought of possible death if they didn't think she was capable of it. Calling her even one minute past her curfew time was evidence to their protective nature.
"Okay...let's say I agree, which I would still need way more information...but let's say I agree...how would this work?"
Both parent smiled at each other and then looked back at their daughter. Back and forth, they told her everything about their secret careers.

Drowning out the chattering noise of the canteen, Andreas concentrated on cutting his fried steak and chewed the food thoroughly. He pierced the cut piece of meat with his fork and shoveled rice onto his spoon. "So Vogt, there's talk around the camp that you'll have another brat join your section." A flat knife twirled in his face by an equal-rank leader. The German fellow didn't respond to the blonde pony and just ate his meat and rice; his face was void of expression at the pointy cutlery.
"Hey, watch your mouth. I hear it's Agents Shade's kid." Another superior snatched the knife out of the blondie's grasp and waved the sharp utensil back in her face. "Oooh, that's even more interesting. It'd be fun if they can survive under Andre here, eh?" Andreas was unamused and finished his meal quickly, so he could exit out of the senseless conversation. 'I need to train.' He wiped his mouth clean with a paper napkin before he swung his leg over the bench followed by his good leg. He collected his tray and gathered his trash, feeling his co-workers' eyes on him. "A Shade or not. It doesn't matter when you're out on the field." He dropped off his tray at clean-up, and as he walked out, he heard: "She's not gonna make it. They all break. They always do." Andreas could only smirk and shake his head. He left the mess hall and headed to his quarters.

Iris checked all her bags to make sure they were all secure. She would be going away for a few months. Training and eventually starting small missions until her trainer deemed her worthy of being able to become a full fledged agent. Iris hadn't believed any of it but her parent's encouragement and knowledge that they would never lie to her gave her some confidence in their story. It excited her to know that there would be a whole group of people like her. Not to mention whatever she did would be for good, which went with her life motto: "A life of service is a life of good". As she got in the car, she drove alone following her parent's address to the compound. They told her that once she got close, she would have to leave her car to go on foot. This way, the agents already at the compound would take her inside. Although they were expecting her, the organization took great caution in everything. Anything from then on, whether it was a car or a phone, would belong to the organization. Fair enough.
It took Iris approximately 5 hours to drive to her training compound, the one closest to her. She checked the address again before getting out of the car and beginning to walk. After about 15 minutes the girl sighed. "My boots are not prepared for this...how much longer until they realize I'm here. Im only five minutes early..." as Iris muttered to herself, she noticed a shift in the environment around her. Used to ignoring her hypersensitive senses, the girl kept on walking. It wasn't until she was completely surrounded by several people in sleek black attire that she realized they had followed her from her car.
"Is this really necessary?" Iris now sat in a chair. Powerpoint slides were clicked through by a stern looking man at the front of the room. The only comfort was knowing that there were about five other people around her age in there with her. Except they knew what they were doing. It didn't take her long to realize that she may have been the only one who learned about this secret organization just a few days ago. According to the powerpoint slides, training began in childhood and then when the candidates felt they were ready, they would go to a training compound to be properly groomed into agents. I did not take that route... However, Iris didn't think it would be that difficult. All she had to do was use everything she had been taught to not use her whole life. Simple.
Hours later, late into the afternoon all six candidates gathered outside a room. "Here your trainer will first test your skills. Consider this a pre-test. Once your training at this compound is over, you will have a post-test. That will be the measure of how fit your are to become an agent." With that, the second woman who had introduced herself as Jana, the Assistant coordinator of specialised training, disappeared. All the candidates looked around in their neatly filed line, waiting to go inside the training room to be tested individually. After some introductions from others, Iris introduced herself. There was some silence, a few people glancing between themselves.
"Iris Shade?" Suddenly Iris had made five new friends, each and everyone of them asking her to go first because she would be able to handle whatever they were supposed to do in the training room. As a Shade she would automatically know what to do. Iris wasn't completely sure about that, but there was no harm in trying. Besides, she was well versed in the majority of the martial arts out there. How much stronger could her trainer be? She waited to be called in, using the encouragement from her new peers to give her confidence.

"See like clockwork, waditellya Ismo?" Andreas stepped out of his quarters, and he rolled his eyes at the sight of the blonde ponytail and the raven-haired lad leaned against the wall. He never sought the reason why those two were compelled to meet him outside of his room every morning. He tried avoiding them at first, but they clung onto him like lost pups. Eventually, he gave up and learned to tune them out when needed. “How’s the new prosthetic treating ya?” Fixing the black sleeves of his t-shirt, he ignored his colleagues as he strode past them to the training area. ‘They never stop.’ He was hounded at breakfast to take it easy on the new recruit and again at midday. Whether it was the German blood pumping in his veins or his childhood trauma supplied by his parents, easy didn’t exist in his dictionary. Andreas reached out his hand to the scanner to gain access to the testing arena. The dark-haired Hulk Ismo pulled him back away from the see-through sliding doors for a last reminder. “Don't push it, Captain. Remember, it’s a pretest." Looking back at the Finnish, he stared him down and shrugged his meaty hand off his shoulder. “Yeah, yeah. I got it.” He wasn’t going to go too over the top. After all, he believed skills were best gauged at one’s breaking point.

Iris walled in when the door opened. She never had nerves but for some reason it only made her more excited. She didnt know what what to expect so she was totally on her guard. Once the door opened, the girl walked in cautiously. Her hands went up in defense, her usual smile gone from her face in total concentration. She jumped slightly as the door closed behind her and the lights came in. She dropped her hands slightly as she saw the only other person in the room with her: a man with the most blankets expression she had ever seen. She noticed he had a prosthetic leg, but that didn't give her any indication this would be a piece of cake judging by his expression. He seemed like a very "no nonsense" guy. Still, Iris gave her smile and a small wave.
"Hi, I'm Iris. Is there anything in particular I'm supposed to do here?" She asked finally dropping her arms thinking they might talk first.

Andreas ran through his stances and swings for a small warm-up of his new leg. Checking his gait, the initial contact to the ground was fine as well as his loading response. The swing phase was also normal. 'Alright, let's see what we can do.' Hearing the opposing doors open and close, Andreas rolled down his pants leg, covering the prosthetic, and he extended himself to his full stature by pushing down on his knee. All the sudden, he heard the newbie talking, and his hearing automatically shut off. He raised a curious brow and pursed his lips, but he spoke nothing of it. Instead, he silently urged the brown girl to come closer with a motion of his hand. Then a brief alarm sounded, and a bright red circle three meters in diameter lit up on the ground encompassing Andreas. “See the circle? Every time you step out of the red, it’ll shrink. If you can get me out, then it’ll grow larger.” His voice was thick with a German accent; his words seemed stuck at the back of his mouth. “Knock me out and you pass. If not, you fail.” He touched his index finger to his thumb, holding up three fingers. “You have three minutes, ja.”

Iris 's eyes watched the man in front of her. He looked young, yet older than her. The serious expression on his face didn't help him look any younger. In fact, it made him look even much older. This must have been the trainer, definitely. His mannerisms combined with his instructions told her one thing. She was definitely not going to win this pre-test. Logically, the trainer would be expected to be much better at being an agent than a new candidate. The man's coolness regarding all this reminded of a military commander which in all unrelated news, made her smile slightly. She pulled her mess of curly hair back into a pony tail. Going up against someone like this, she definitely knew she wouldn't make it. But Iris hated to lose. If she wasn't going to come out victorious, she refused to come out as the loser.
"Okay...I understand. I mean, I still don't know who I'm sparing with. Doesn't that make this a bit less friendly..." The only response she received was the dimming of the surrounding lights, a red circle appearing around her and her trainer, and the single spotlight illuminating the circle. "I just have to last for three minutes, don't step out of the red...knock out is a bonus," she murmured to herself. She moved to the center of the circle as the countdown from 10 began. "I like you accent by the way," 9, "It's not anything like I've heard of, "8," but I think I think it's German," 7, "I have some questions at the end of all this though," 6, "If you think you'd have time to answer them, "5, "You don't seem like the talkative type," 4, "But I'm new to all this, and it would really help to talk to someone who's more experienced, and not my parent..." 3. With three seconds to go, Iris took her stance and hesitated before she said, "Don't go easy on me..." She didn't think there would be any harm in saying that.

'She is quasselstrippe like Blondie. Great.' Andreas took a wide, open stance as the time counted down. He needed to shut her mouth. He left her comments unanswered but one, her last one. "Don't go easy on me." A wicked smirk splayed across his lips, and a spark shone in his eyes as if he was granted permission to shatter her soul into a billion pieces. "Slow down. You talk too much." He filled the empty space between with a sidekick, purposefully aiming at her head. The sooner Andreas finished, the quicker he'd be away from Collins 2.0. Though since he was going to be training her to become a full-fledged spy, it was futile to avoid her like he often did with the blonde pony. His last means were to work her so hard, so she couldn't breathe another word. "Or you won't see what's coming." He grunted. He only used his legs to back her out of the circle, utilizing various kicks from Shaolin kungfu. He kept his hands at bay to not go overkill at the trainee even if she was a Shade, but he picked up the momentum in his blows. Having a reputable name didn't amount to anything unless the work was inputted.

Iris saw her trainer's cold smirk just before he let a side kick loose. She was barely able to duck from that, seeing as it came quick and swift with no hints of what he was going to do next from his eyes. Watch you'r opponent's eyes. They betray what they'll do next, that didn't seem to be helping her at all because apart from the kick, she hadn't been able to block or deflect any of his attacks. I've never been defense...! It was an interest turn of situations since in all the spares and fights she had been in, Iris had automatically taken the offensive role. She took the hits silently, until she was pushed out out o f the circle and saw it shrink. Her eyes narrowed, her hands clenching tighter in her fists. And then she let go, daring to take a step forward and catapulting herself back into the circle behind her trainer. She tried to catch up by surprise, trying to be as quick and swift as her trainer, but wasn't fast enough. He had barely lifted his arms to her and she was already gritting her teeth to keep the blows from his legs at bay. Fine! Just, don't get out of the circle again...just last the three minutes...
As Iris began to mix in her jumps and use her flexibility to avoid any more hits and blows. By now, she hadn't gotten one blow in on her side and was barely trying to get around her trainer to avoid being hit. Instead of sticking to what seemed to be working, Iris couldn't help actually trying to fight. It was in her blood and she never backed down. She raiser her hands in a series of punches and kicks of different patterns. Three minutes is nothing... She thought as she began to tire and her breaths became ore laboured. Sweat began to form at the edges of her face and strands of her dark hair fell out of the ponytail in the back. She had never been on the losing end of a fight, but she knew this was what it felt like. An she hated it. The circle was getting too small for her liking and she wanted to be able to get her trainer out of the circle at least once. The timer began to count down again, this time for thirty seconds. Iris began to get desperate, her once thought out and planned movements reflecting her thoughts of desperation. No, no, no....
