Well, this was quite the development. He actually didn't correct the innkeeper when he assumed they were a couple. One, because he found the whole thing to be very amusing, and two, much to his surprise, Faye was rolling with it. His eyes widened slightly when he felt her hand slip into his, her body pressed snuggly against him. Well now, this was certainly not what he had anticipated. But if that's how she wanted to play, then so be it. With a pleased grin, he released a breath, before going all out. "I told you, I'd find us a place, love. You had nothing to worry about," he smiled charmingly, sliding an arm around her shoulders and pulling her even tighter to him. In reality he'd never even consider this lowly estsblisment as even an option for a honeymoon. Ever.

He chuckled in feigned happiness, though it looked all too real. Almost like he had done this a few times before. The two of them seemed to be putting on quite the show, as the innkeeper was eating it right up. Ha! And wow, she had a ring on her finger. He had no idea where she had procured such a thing in the span of a few seconds, but he was impressed nonetheless. But still, he'd totally have bought a better ring. Mmhmm. He nodded dramatically to his 'wife' and smiled once again at the innkeeper, before doting upon Faye again. Like a good husband would. "We've had a very adventurous wedding day indeed, my dear. So muddy! I long for a warm bath and uh, some other things," he winked, innocently placing a hand on her hip and giving it a small squeeze. He continued to smile as Faye layed her head on his shoulder, the smell of her hair a lovely sweet scent. Though he did tense ever so slightly when she nuzzled his neck. Damn.

Before he could think too much of it, the innkeeper began to lose his mind in happiness for them. Really?! Was he really buying it? Tarsus almost didn't believe it, but hell, he wouldn't turn down a free room and some decent wine! He took the key from the innkeeper gratefully, swinging the metal loop around his finger jovially. "Thank you very much, good sir. I'll make sure all my friends know about the fine establishment you have here," he said to the man, as be began to walk up the stairs. Faye's laughter echoed in the stairwell as she took the lead, Tarsus following obediently behind her. He grinned as she winked, Tarsus finding the whole situation hilarious and slightly erotic. "Did he really just believe all that," he a whispered, stifling a laugh. He looked back down the stairs to make sure they weren't being followed, before turning around again to come face to face with Faye...whom was currently biting her thumb with her full lips. Whoa.

He was slightly taken aback by her beauty, as evident by the look on his face. He thought they were only acting out a ruse, which earned them a well deserved free room and drink...he wasn't expecting her to want to go further? But damn, the way she learned up against that door was very convincing. That devilish grin of his appeared once more on his lips, Tarsus spinning the key to the room again around his finger. He took a step towards her, trapping her between his body and the hard surface of the door.
His eyes met hers, a mischievous twinge in his steel coloured ones. All the while, he had taken the key and unlocked the door, finally allowing Faye to be free. "Your luxurious honeymoon suite, Milady," he said, gesturing to the room.

Which wasn't much of a room, to be honest. But it was pretty good considering it was Bree. The double sided bed looked like heaven compared to the damp bedroll he'd been sleeping in for the last few days. Plus he might get lucky and get to share it with a beautiful woman. What more could be ask for? Tarsus stepped inside the room and casually looked around, tossing his bag unceremoniously onto the floor. His hands reached up to take off his cloak, the man rotating his broad shoulders once, and then tossing his cloak over the back of the only chair in the room. "Not bad," he said, as he fell back into the bed. Not the softest, but it would do. He leaned up on his elbows, eyes finding hers. "A bit squeaky though," he chuckled. "But there's a spell for that!"

Fayette stepped with the opening of the door, her form moving to allow him to enter as her smile remained on her face. She watched Tarsus and couldn’t lie that there was something about him that had peaked a true personal interest but she wasn’t one to simply allow her body to override her mind. He seemed to gather quickly the scene that unfolded below though his whisper on their way up the stairs had clued her into the fact that the facade for him was merely an act, while for her…it was a gift.

She watched him as he entered the room as she had seen so many men do before, it was the air that they always carried about them when they entered that seemed to become filled with the self feeling of deserving and earnest that caused her lips to twinge for but a second. The cloak was removed before becoming tossed onto the back of the chair, his form coming to lay on top of the bed with an amusing squeek of a strained spring. And when their eyes met and his words spilled forth, a slow smile would cross her face even more before her hand closed the door, her hand sliding down its warm wood to lock it once again. “I suppose you of all folks would know that one Tarsus…”

She moved across the room towards the chair, her saturated onyx ringlets being pulled forward to lay over her shoulder before sitting down facing him, her form leaning back against his cloak as she raises a single eyebrow towards him. The dancing lantern light caused the shadows to change every constantly with each occasional gust of wind that leaked through the windows framework. It caused her eyes to darken as she glanced around for a moment.

“That was quite fun down there…wasn’t it? Mischievous even…” Her fingers would now begin to run through the lengthy locks of her hair as she crossed her ankles and tucked them between the legs of the chair. She paused for a moment to spin the ring back, stone to palm before she sighs softly. Her lips parted to speak again before there was a knock on the door. Certainly it would have to be the Innkeeper and his gift that he had offered to bring up earlier, right? She simply turned her gaze to the door as her eyes narrow just faintly before she looks back to Tarsus, expecting that he would be the one to rise and answer it.

Unfortunately, Tarsus had allowed his body to override his mind on numerous occasions. Particularly those times that involved beautiful women. And would it be wrong for him to expect for something more to happen between them that night? Of course, he was a gentleman and he'd never force anything, but surely he could confidently say that she had given him all the appropriate signs that lead him to believe they'd be sharing a bed. The angsty biting of her thumb, the little giggles and the way she looked at him, and let's not forget how she nipped at his neck. They also just tricked the innkeeper with an elaborate charade to share this one room, right? If not, he would definitely feel like she had led him on a little bit. So yes, his expectations were just a teensy bit high.

As he leaned himself up on his elbows, his eyes founds hers, watching her intently as she almost seductively locked the door. See, she was doing the thing again. "Of course...just one of many spells that I know," he said, a hint of pride in his voice. It was actually a neat little silencing spell that would affect the entirety of the room. It would essentially seal off the room from the outside world, making it completely sound proof. But that was besides the point. Steel eyes followed her form as she came to sit upon the chair. Gods, did she ever hold a presence...and once again he found himself caught in her spell. And he was supposed to be the wizard here.

Tarsus sat up then, coming to position himself at the foot of the bed. "It's always good fun to be a little mischievous now and then. Work the silver tongue, if you would," he chuckled. If he was anything, it was a good bluffer. Or liar, if you would. Needless to say, his ability to pull stories out of his ass and improvise had helped him out of plenty nefarious situations before. There was a moment of silence that was abruptly broken by a loud knock at the door. Without hesitating, Tarsus stood up and answered the door. True to his word, the innkeeper had sent servants up with wine, along with a few other luxuries.

"Perfect timing," cheered Tarsus, examining the bottle of wine that was placed in his hands. "Oooh this looks like it'll be good," he said to Faye, before placing the bottle of wine on the table. The servants also brought up a platter of food and better blankets for the bed. He thanked the servants as they left, the man once again closing the door. "I mean, it's not exactly top tier, but I can't complain." He popped out the cork from of the wine bottle and gestered to Faye. "Wine for the lady?"

As he was distracted by the Innkeepers servants, she would take the moment to make a slow exhale, her eyes moving around the room for a moment as she shakes her head for a brief moment, trying to clear her mind. She couldn’t believe that she had pushed far further in her interaction with a Creswell than she had ever intended. She had set out to avoid this specific family lineage, the rumors that had swirled over the years about things she could never prove nor disprove thus far. She looked back to the door, his back still turned to her as he spoke with a jovial tone in his voice to the servants. Should she let him know she knew of the crest? Find his role out? Or should she simply observe him in these times? Or worse yet, should she trust him? Well, certainly not completely.

He placed the wine bottle on the table, and her eyes shifted towards it before flashing back to him turning his back upon her again. Her head canted a bit as she thought on their words thus far and held them closely to the front of her mind, puzzle pieces simply awaiting to find their place among the grand scheme. Her smile returned as he thanked the staff and closed the door behind their departure, her hand raising up to tuck the wet tendrils behind her ear. “Indeed….There is never to much wine for the souls of the deserving…”

It was then that she realized that her corset and skirting were still soaked rather thoroughly, much like her hair. She leaned back a bit further into the cloak covered back of the chair she sat in as she observed him closer the same knowing smile on her face as she each of his visible features with her gaze before she raised her chin a bit. She had decided she would simply observe him for the time being, to assess if he truly was a threat….yes that was the reason she thought.

The wine smelled sweet as soon as he opened the bottle, the scent filling her nose quickly and with a gentle chuckle, she nodded in agreement to his question. “Mm…Its never wise to turn down a glass of wine….” She rose up and walked behind him towards the door, her hand upon the handle giving it a quick twist before looking back to him. “But first….Please pardon my absence for just a moment….” And with that, she walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. If he listened carefully, he would hear a door further down the hallway open and then close.

Tarsus had went ahead and poured then both a glass of wine. He swirled the red liquid once in his glass and finally took a first sip. Well aged, indeed. This wine was actually pretty good, all things considering. He was expecting Faye to come and take the drink he had poured for her, however that's not exactly what happened. With little more than a few words, the woman left the room. Tarsus watched her go with a raised brow, before hearing the opening and closing of another door just down the hall. What the hell just happened? The wizard peeked his head out of the room, looking both ways down an empty hallway. So she did enter another room? Wait, she already had a room here? Ok, this was officially getting a little too weird for him.

With a tired sigh, he closed the bedroom door, shot back the glass of wine in one swig and started on the food. No sense in wasting a good meal. Plus he was rather hungry after a long day of travelling. He just didn't understand Faye. Hell, maybe he just didn't understand women. Odd, since he had plenty of partners back home. And sure, he would've loved to spend an evening with the beauty that got away, but he wasn't desperate enough to go chasing her. At least not right now. They had only met, afterall, and Tarsus did have his pride. Still, if she wasn't interested, she merely should have said so from the beginning. Such thoughts ran through his mind as he ate. Then again he could be entirely wrong, but sense pining like a lost puppy.

After he finished the quick meal, he pulled off his shirt, cleaned up a bit, and then kicked off his boots, Tarsus now only wearing his pants. Because of his cloak, most of his clothes remained relatively dry. He blew out one candle, leaving the room alit with only one. Enough light to read with. Plopping down on the bed, he dug into his bag and pulled out an elaborately decorated leather bound book, that was inlayed with gold. On the cover was his family crest and if one looked closely, it seemed to be moving ever so slightly. Tarsus waved his hand across the cover, a tingle of magic in the air. The crest on the cover began to glow a soft blue, before the image spun in an unlocking fashion. A second later, the light faded and the book opened.

He reached into his bag once more and removed a pair of black reading glasses, which he promptly put on. This was Tarsus' spell book. All good wizard's had one and usually contained all the intricate details of all the spells they had ever learned. Time for a bit of studying and revising.

Fayette had taken to her room to change from her wet, muddy attire; tossing it off to the side, she rummages through her satchel before pulling free a new sheer attire. Dressing herself, she looked towards the covered mirror, her brows furrowing a bit before she pulls on her silky robe, tying it shut. She took a towel up to dry her hair more before taking up a brush and smoothing the tangles from her tangled locks. Tarsus was on her mind this entire time, contemplating whether she should just remain and maintain some of her dignity…but she did only have three days left in this port town…

With a small smirk she separates her hair into three sections and completes a fast braid on her long locks, a leather tie holds the ends in place. She then freshens her face and reapplies her make up before turning back towards her door. With a small pause, she glances to her bed side table before taking hold of her small pack and then exits out her door. She locks the door with the key before placing it into her pocket.

With bare feet, she walked down the hallway with barely a whisper of sound, stopping before Tarsus’ door. She runs a hand softly down the warm wood before touching the door handle, finding that it was indeed locked as she had expected. No travelers ever leave their room unlocked, to many unknown variables in a town one isn’t acquainted with it. A playful smirk crosses her features before she glances around the hallway, the candlelight dancing and creating shadows all around, but not even a mouse stirred at this moment. Thinking for a moment, she gave herself a nod before pulling a small tool from the pack, she inserted it into the lock and with a quick flick of her wrist, she was able to unlock it. Stowing the tool, she then placed the pack in the pocket of her robe, her hand coming to twist the knob before she pushes open the door slowly, her eyes peering into the now darker room.

She spotted the studious wizard upon the bed, his dark rimmed glasses framing his face. She gave an amused quizzical look before moving into the room, the door closing and becoming locked rather easily with her slender digits. She remained silent as she moved towards the platter, plucking a small strawberry from it and taking a bite of it. Her other hand moves to undo her robe, revealing the sheer nightgown she had on. The robe then finds itself over the arm of the chair before she moves towards the bed, her moves slow and seductive as she stares at him, a grin forming on her face before she climbs into bed, the rest of the strawberry being placed at his lips as she offers a slow wink and a raised single brow.

~*~*~Fade to Black~*~*~

The next morning, the suns rays peered through the thin curtains to fill the room with the beautiful colors of the sunrise. Fayette laid on her side under the blankets, her hair covering her shoulder, now loose from its braid. She slept peacefully in Tarsus’s bed, her form still and warm as the rays began to creep their way up the bed, towards their eyes to awaken them for a new day… and one less day of her planned stay. Her form moves faintly as if to seek the warmth of another, a faint smile beginning to cross her face.

His eyes flicked over to the door when he heard the faint jingle of the handle. What was this?! Was someone trying to rob him? He shut his spell book and stood up, Tarsus tapping into his reserve of mana. His hand raised out before him, a spark of electricity beginning to dance in his palm, ready to jolt forward the moment be willed it too. Lowly thieves always regretted breaking into a wizard's room...Except this time, it wasn't a thief. In fact, Tarsus was completely caught off guard when he saw whom it was that had walked in. Faye. His eyes widened slightly as he watched her sway her hips towards the table, where she plucked a strawberry in her hand and placed it between her lush lips.

A grin spread across his lips, Tarsus slowly beginning to step back towards the bed, just as Faye began to walk towards him. She then slipped off her robe, revealing a very naughty little nightgown. His eyes travelled up and down her body hungrily. Daamn, this woman! The back of his knees touched the side of the bed, Tarsus slowly laying himself down onto it. She walked towards him, his hands already upon her, sliding up to rest on her hips, where he gave them a gentle squeeze. He arched his neck up to taste the sweetness of the strawberry between her lips, a devilish look in his eyes. He'd abruptly pulled her down onto him and flipped her onto her back, Tarsus now straddling her between his legs. Oh, this would be a fun night.

- - - -

Tarsus awoke bright and early that morning, almost as soon as the sun had risen. He always happened to wake up really early, due to the many days studying at the academy, but he didn't mind. He enjoyed the peace of dawn. Besides, there were things he needed to do and places he needed to be. He glanced over to the sleeping beauty next to him, a small smile on his lips. Last night, was something else.  It was some of the best sex he had had in a while. With a gentle touch, he moved a strand of her dark hair off her face, before silently slipping out of bed.

After a quiet stretch, he wrapped a towel around his naked waist and headed off to take a bath. When he returned, Faye was still sleeping and the inn had only just begun to stir. He got fully dressed, the man pulling his boots on, and then styling his hair just the way he liked it. Breakfast arrived to their room, filling the area with an appetizing aroma. Sitting at the table, he began to eat, while simultaneously looking at an open map laid out before him. He was paying far more attention to the map in his hand, than the food he was putting in his mouth. It was then that he noticed Faye move in bed. "Morning," he said exuberantly, still eyeing the map and eating. "Got you some breakfast, tastes alright."

He was planning on travelling to the town of Haven today, where he'd eventually fulfill the request to exterminate their mine full of goblins. The sooner the better. "I'm going to be leaving soon. Can't waste daylight," he chuckled. Right after he finished his tea. See, Tarsus didn't really stick around after he had relations. It was nothing against Faye, of course. She was absolutely lovely and one of the most beautiful women he had every met. He just didn't like committment or any of the other stuff that came with it. He liked his freedom. And he didn't particularly see a problem with having an enjoyable night with someone, and then leaving the next morning. No strings attached.

Fayette rose from the bed while pulling the sheet up to cover her front, her eyes looking over the room a moment before they settled on the voice speaking to her. Raising a brow at Tarsus as he eyes his map, visions of the night before flooded her mind. Her hand raises to push her disheveled hair from her eyes before she yawns. Rising up, she drops the sheet from her bare form before moving her way to the chair he sat in, her hands pulling the robe free from behind him before wrapping it around herself.

With several quick glances, she moves to the dresser where her nightgown hung haphazardly from the corner of it, a product of rushed passions no less. Picking the sheer material up, she wrapped it up into a ball within her hand. She rubbed her eyes with her free hand before she moved to the table where the food was set out and the map within his hands. It wasn’t hard for her to see his focus on the map and a small smirk crossed her face as he chuckled.

She took a hold of a piece of salted pork from the plate before moving towards the door with her swaying hips. She unlocked the door before pulling it open, the sunlight from the hall window flooded the small area causing her to blink several times before she glanced back at Tarsus. “Mm…Twas fun M’dear…I have several things to do before my ship departs here soon…” She began to close the door behind her before her voice slides past once more. “Hope your goblin fight treats you well…Wouldn’t want that handsome face scarred…would we Mr. Creswell?” A chuckle could be heard as the door closed and her bare feet moved her down the hall to her own room.

She pulled her key free before unlocking her door and moving within the perfumed chamber, her hand tossing the nightgown off the the side before she closes the door. She leaned against the wooden texture for a moment, her head lulling back as she stares at the ceiling for a few moments, her face expressionless as she thinks deeply during these brief moments. With a sigh, she pushed off the door and moved towards the small basin and pitcher, her eyes taking in her room as she passes, searching for anything that may be out of place. She then glances to the covered mirror before focusing on pouring the water from the pitcher into the basin.

Her hands dipped into the lukewarm temperature before she leans forward and draws the cupped water to her face, her digits aiding in cleaning her face before she reaches for a towel to dry her face and hands off with. There was nothing but silence in the room and it seemed to provide a level of comfort to her, for the time being at this point. She took hold of her brush and seated herself at the desk before she began the tedious task of detangling hair knotted by a night of flair. Her mind though, it kept fluttering back to Tarsus, as if she couldn’t rid herself of the thought of him. This, for her at least, was quite unusual and it made her only wonder more as to why he seemed to plague her thoughts.

The one thing that had managed to avert his attention from the map in his hands, was the naked body of Faye, her hips swaying from side to side as she removed her robe from the back of the chair and threw it over herself. Gods, had he mentioned she was beautiful? He was truly a lucky man to have been allowed to share her bed last night. Ah, he'd surely miss her once they parted. But parting was inevitable. Tarsus had come to enjoy his time on the road. He liked the feeling of exploring a place he had not visited before, to never know where he'd end up the next day, where no one knew of who he was...to be free to go wherever he pleased. It was exhilarating and something he didn't have growing up in the prissy and proper rich man's world of Divinity's Gate and the Academy. There was too much expectations for him there, but here, in the middle of no where, he did whatever he wanted. And right now, he felt like killing goblins with a few strategically placed fireballs.

With a subtle smile, he went back to consulting his map, Faye joining him at the table for a few brief seconds. It appeared that she too, had business to attend to. Both of them seemed to be of the same mind; that last night was a fond memory, and now they would continue on with their lives. Just how Tarsus preferred it to be. Though, there was one more surprise that Faye had managed to throw at him. He looked up at her as he stood in the doorway, her musical laugh echoing throughout the room. "Mr. Creswell?," Tarsus repeated, shaking his head in amusement, the man now alone in his room. So, she figured out who he was, did she? Clever girl. But he didn't really do a lot to hide it, what with his expensive clothes and blatantly obvious signet ring on his finger. Surprisingly, he was ok with Faye knowing who he was, but perhaps he would be more careful in the future. "Mr. Creswell is my father," he sighed, with a grin.

Soon after, Tarsus had left the inn and the small fishing village of Bree; walking at a relatively fast pace on an easterly road towards Haven. He whistled a subtle tune under his breath as he walked, his mind always drifting back to the previous night and the dark haired woman that now plagued his mind. Maybe he'd see her again one day, if the fates were kind.

~~~~~~
A large grey war horse galloped through the streets of Bree, its hooves plowing through the dirt roads. With a whinny, the stallion reared as it came to an abrupt halt, before landing back on its front hooves. It's rider dismounted from its back, a hand placed gently on the horses' neck in a calming fashion, the animal reassured with the familiar touch. A stable boy came running from the back of the inn, ready to take the horse to the stables. "I'll have your horse fed and watered Milord," said the stable boy, finally looking up to the rider. However, his face began to blush when he realized his mistake. "Apologies...Milady," he corrected himself. The woman gave the lad a warm smile, before placing a few copper pieces in his hand. "No need to apologize, now run along lad," she said, smiling at the ecstatic look on the boys face. It was a common mistake. Not because she didn't look feminine, that was far from the truth, but because it was so uncommon for a lady to be dressed in half plate mail armor, wielding a sword and shield, and riding a war horse.
But such was Leliandra. She was wearing silver half-plate mail, along with silver gauntlets and greaves, all polished to a shine, which gave away their expensive quality. On her back was a circular metal light shield, a symbol of a golden sun with with bursting rays on a navy background, painted on it. On her hip rested a longsword, sheathed in a navy sheath inlined with gold. Her long hair was tied back in a loose braid, and of the blonde variety, but with unique silvery-white hues. Her eyes were of the brightest emerald green and upon closer inspection, one could see flecks of gold scattered throughout them. She was of average height and absolutely beautiful, though her attire did not match her beauty. There was also something....different....about her, but it was hard guess what.
Lian entered the inn and approached the innkeeper, oblivious to the stares she was receiving from the other patrons. She definitely stuck out like a sore thumb. "Excuse me," she said to the innkeeper, a serious look on her face. The innkeeper gave her his full attention, surprised and delighted, that another rich noble was visiting his humble abode. "What can I do for your, Milady?," he asked. Lian cut right to the point. "I'm looking for someone. A man, blonde, about six feet tall. Very charming, with grey eyes. Dresses nicely, probably had nice hair. Perhaps you've seen someone of this description? I've reason to believe he has passed through here recently." The innkeeper thought for a moment, before smiling widely and nodding his head. "Oh yes! I do remember that man! He was here just this morning. Stayed the night here with his wife. Lovely couple they were. Said he'd be telling his friends about this place. Glad he was true to his word!!" Lian raised a perfectly shaped eyebrow. A wife? That was hilarious. "He was here this monring?! How long ago did he leave?!," she continued, eager to hear more. Finally, she was close.
Fayette had gotten herself cleaned and perfumed, this time with rose water. Her hair had been tied up in a tight wrap at the back of her head and she had placed on her conditioned leather armor under a more covering dress this time. She was planning on leaving the Inn and follow after Tarsus, she enjoyed the thrill of the cat and mouse game they seemed to be playing. And he haunted her thoughts in a manner that others hadn’t before, there was just something about him and the way he seemed to enthrall her as much as she did him. He could be fun for the next couple of days at least…
Opening her window, she tosses a small pack and a tied quiver to the ground below, watching where it landed before she closed the door and moved to her door. Leaving quickly, she still remembered to lock her door and move down the hallway, her steps silent even in the hidden boots under the long length of her dress and her form swaying with each step. The candles in the hall barely flickered as she passed, a seemingly permanent smile on her face as she makes her way past Tarsus’ door, her fingers sweeping across the wood as she passes.
She moved down the stairs swiftly before pausing at the description this woman had questioned the Innkeeper about. Furrowing her brows a bit, she clasped her hands in front of her for a moment as she listened to the interaction. Upon mention of his “wife”, she inwardly groaned for a moment; the uncertainty of what he could have himself mixed up with caused her to want to naturally avoid this as best as she could. Still, she slid the ring on her finger before beginning to turn to go back up the stairs, her mood having been slightly soured now.
Just as she began to climb the stairs, the Innkeeper took notice of her small frame and chirped up. “Oh there she is now! The wonderful newly wed wife!” With a hidden wince and sigh, she straightened her back and placed a convincing smile upon her face as she turned to go back down the stairs completely now. Regardless of what she wanted, this was the role she was committed to, and it certainly wouldn’t be a hard performance.
“Ah…There's the wonderful man who has honored my husband and myself…How very generous you are for supporting such fresh love…You can be certain that my husband will continue to sing your praise for years to come…” She offered him a faint curtsy out of respect before her attention turns to the armored woman before her. Allowing her blue eyes to slowly look her over, the smile fluttering a bit as she clasps her hands in front of her. She may have looked like an uncertain woman who felt challenged by this woman, when in reality, she was simply taking in as many details about her as possible.
“Ah yes Lass…New love is truly the cure to an old stalemate love….rekindles if you will. But yes, this wonderful woman is looking for your husband…Perhaps you know when he will be returning?” He offered a jolly smile before he leaned over towards Fayette and whispers not so softly. “Seems it may be of official business Lass…May want to play nice…aye?” Clearing his throat, he straightens up before moving towards the door to the back office to allow them a bit of privacy. As soon as he was gone, she turned her gaze back to the woman, a polite expression on her face as she simply awaited the woman to speak with her.
