Eh, I think it helps level the playing field between how people percieve the NHHE and the Hub.
Alone she drifts from ancient mists
Nary a candle, nary a wish
But in the wont of wandering paths
Through wooded knolls, and windworn crags
She seeks a face she thought as friend
But now -- she thinks as judgement's end

So, we have kinda exceeded ten players. Do you think I should cap it at 15? Or just let it go?

Chellis

"I like her." Hale said, leaning back in his foldable chair. Images of Chellis at work scrolled over Hadrian's monitor. Images of wounds healed and situations defused, demonstrations of skill.

"And where did you find this one?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Hale snickered. "Breath of Life clinic-"

"On-?"

"Yep."

Hadrian shook his head in disbelief, trying to bring words to his lips. "So... how?.. I mean."

"I've seen her fly, she's a pretty good pilot, too. Landed a ambulance into my hanger... well, crashed it, but you get the point."

"And she's willing to help?" Hadrian asked.

"Not at first... but something changed her mind. Maybe she sees that what we're doing to right..." Hale stared into the monitor, watching as her images scrolled past.

"I hope so, Wolfy."

---

Lilith

"-Melbourne?"

"Yeah, Melbourne."

Hadrian couldn't believe what Hale was telling him. The new engineer he'd hired was from the last planet he'd ever expect to find anyone who wouldn't kill him for his ship the moment they got on board.

"She's a tech wizard, and her cybernetics are pretty killer." Hale continued, "plus, I think Rhee might have a crush on her."

"Has she got a mech?"

"It's a junker, but she's worked wonders on it. You should take a look at it if you have the chance, Hadrian."

Hadrian looked at the holographic image of "Piece-Of-Shit" on his datapad. It was a pretty average vehicle, but he could see where the mechanic had customized the machine.

"Okay, she'll do... just make sure she doesn't take anything on the way out, okay?"

Hale laughed. "You know who you're talking to right? When was the last time I kept a promise?"

---

Pill and Lip

Hale sighed. "Yeah, I don't get it either."

"So it's a sentient program?" Hadrian tried to explain it, but it escaped him.

"They told me that they were once organic, but now there conscience lives on as a piece of code..."

"So they can hack anything?" Hadrian questioned, sounding just as confused as Amarok.

"Yeah... let's go with that."

---

Farris

"He's got a nice speeder, and is something of a gambler, Hadrian." Hale spoke over the sound of pouring alcohol. "Helluva career thief, too."

"Herrun's can be pretty shifty. But this guy sounds like a player, maybe I could get his contact once the job is over, I could use a good card player to drum up high-rollers in my casinos." Hadrian swirled the ice in his drink and watched as they began to crack.

"Might just want to stick with the crew after, you know. It isn't always about buisness, Hadrian." Hale looked his way. Hamada looked out across his city.

"Only to you, Hale. But to me, to The Hub, even the Empire, it's all just a buisness venture. A game. And the game needs players, and the players need cards.

"Your Herrun friend might be the Ace I've been needing."

---

Skriviks

"It was a tragedy, the destruction of Kaavri." Hadrian said as Hale finished his evaluation of the Kavarian. "It was a shame, such an interesting people... did you ever fight them, Hale?"

"Huh?"

"When you were in the Navy, you never fought Kavarians?"

"I fought a lot of people, Hadrian. The Kavarians might have been one of them." Hale grumbled.

"But you don't know?" Hadrian pushed.

"Watch it." Hale retorted.

"What? Afraid he might want revenge?"

"You need to be careful."

"Why? It's not like-"

"You spilt your drink." Hale said blankly, staring at the wet spot in Hamada's crotch.

"Told you to be careful."

"But you did fight them, didn't you?" Hadrian probed, standing up and attempting to dry his pants with a hand towel.

"Yeah, a long time back. Only a Ensign then... but I remember how they fought, their machines. He might be a lone wolf, but just one of their pilots was enough to ground fifty of our guys... I'm happy he's onboard."

---

Character blurbs, didn't turn out how I wanted, but said "screw it" and finished anyways.

Let it go for now, I think. People are inevitably going to drop with an interest base of this size.

I love them!!!

Do you have a ballpark for the starting date? Apologies if you've already mentioned something like this

To be honest, I haven't put much thought to it. But I'm thinking of trying to put it up by this weekend.

I'm so happy this is finally getting into swing! I'm really excited for this.
