Not much for the crime fiction genre myself, but sure... gonna make Arthur and Pandora my main characters there though XD

I've grown to like those two... despite only writing their character sheets. She is cool and level headed, but has a humorous side. And he is an easy going and fun loving derp who only gets serious when Pandora's safety is on the line.

God I wish my relationship with my sister was more like that :/

I think I'll run with less characters lol. Probably limit myself to three, Aenar, Elessar and Tarroc.

Sure, go ahead! As for the crime genre, I can see why some people don't like it. Detective stories in particular can't be reread once you've finished them (One notable exception being The Murder of Roger Ackroyd - a brilliant read in my opinion). It's also a lottery when you buy a book, considering how many have been written.

I just can't deal with the slow pacing throughout 5/6ths of the book, then finally getting some real action for like 5-10 pages, then it dies again. I wan't action, but worlds, characters, fights. Not, "Mmmh, yes you're right! The DNA says he CAN'T be the murderer," about that guy who 50 pages ago clearly wasn't the murderer (might just have gotten the worst starter to the genre but still they take FOREVER to get up in spped)

That's true. Most detective stories do that, can't say I'm too sure why though. I'll try to keep ours decently paced, with a fair bit of action.

Just wondering, would you guys prefer this to be in intermediate or advanced?

I just the mental image of someone annoying Aenar so much he just pulls back and slaps them so hard they explode like a bug on a windshield. He's a half-giant, so his strength goes up more and more the more angry he becomes, in a berserker like fashion.
