Name: Sable Aronowitz

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Height: 5'4"

Weight: 149 lbs

History/Experience
-

>> Born 2051 in Tel Aviv, Israel. She grew up an only child, though she says her parents tried multiple times for a boy. Her father was a remote chemical plant operator at the ICL headquarters, a possible early influence on her eventual love of computer systems. He often took her into work to see the consoles, operation desks, and server spaces, explaining how it operated in detail. When she entered primary education, her relationship with her father began to strain. Instead of showing support for her pursuits, he began to push her to outdo her past successes, which coupled with her mother's poor health led to a high-stress household at a young age.

>> She attended Ironi Alef from ages thirteen to fifteen, skipping two grades and graduating the second highest in her class. Against her father's wishes, possibly due to a continued distant relationship, she went on to attend the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. She pursued a double major in Computer Science and Physics, eventually taking on a concentration in Astrophysics while attending as well. Unlike her early years, Aronowitz was very forthcoming about her time here. With the exception of a few "trouble" professors, she excelled in her studies, completing the six-year degree plan in only four. She went on to claim a doctorate in Physics with a concentration in Astrophysics in two more years, was taken on as a member of the faculty directly after, and received a doctorate in Computer Science during her first three years of employment.

>> Following a groundbreaking development into the simulation of thermal expansion in gaseous bodies, she was given tenure at a permanent research post in the institute's Faculty of Physics. Here, she continued to improve the simulated models of astrophysical phenomena, as well as offering personal input on a variety of papers both within and out of her field. Though she claims her superiors were quite fond of her and her work, the institute offers a conflicting perspective, describing Aronowitz as a "above average scholar" but "an absolute pain to be in the same room with." She made no mention of the two conduct infringements she received during her tenure, one for showing up to work obviously inebriated, the other for verbally berating a fellow researcher to the point of tears. Despite these setbacks, she achieved local and eventually national recognition, having her papers and results published in a variety of high influence academic journals.

>> Two months prior, Aronowitz sent unsolicited nude photos to a graduate student at the institute. She was hesitant to explain the context of the situation, at first only repeating that she was inebriated at the time and acting against her better judgment. When pressed, she admitted she had only done it because she had thought the student flirted with her in class, and hadn't expected a negative response. The student had threatened to go to the institute, only holding back on the condition Aronowitz would ensure his passage that year. She relented and agreed to his terms, but he sent the photograph to the dean regardless, and she was immediately put on probation while the institute deliberated punishment.

>> After contact with one of our representatives, the Weizmann Institute of Science agreed to drop all charges and keep the incident from the public. This deal will be officiated upon the completion of Aronowitz' two year position on Morpheus.

>> Primary traits: Conscientious, individualistic, obsessive. She displays a personality often referred to as "Type A" in colloquial vernacular. While she isn't the most outspoken individual, she makes up for this in terms of sheer, unmoving stubbornness. Examiners noted a marked refusal to answer questions she deemed unnecessary. Social negotiation was needed for full compliance throughout testing, and even after that, she seemed reticent to divulge even basic information.

>> She displays high levels of self-consciousness, almost to the point of neuroticism. Perfectionistic, both when it comes to professional work and in her daily life, and seems to have a fixation with maintaining a positive outward persona. Interrelation isn't necessarily a priority, but maintaining the image of competence and individuality in all endeavors is pursued with an obsessive fervor.

>> Cynically cautious. Questions following this revelation indicate a fear of others betraying her trust, most likely tying back to a rocky relationship with her father. Despite consistently seeking approval from peers and superiors, she will often discard any praise she does gain as invalid, either believing it misdirected or outright fabricated.

>> Demonstrates a firm "black and white" perspective when it comes to social boundaries, roles, and customs. Lines are clear cut. Professionalism and personal life never mix, and people are to maintain separate personas in both spheres. While she is not a traditionalist (she views most society-instilled social customs as arbitrary and wasteful), she has a firm respect for social hierarchy, becoming what others expect, and doing things the "proper" way.

>> She seems to exemplify the Dunning-Kruger effect, most likely a result of avoiding signs of incompetency. Even in areas outside her field of study, she will attempt to maintain an active presence, holding her own personal opinions on matters with the same weight as those more experienced. As mentioned before, several times during examination, she made comment on the absurdity of certain questions, disputed the relevancy of several, and even outright refused to answer some until the profilers relented and altered their approach.

>> Group work appears to be no issue for her, though whether or not working with her bodes issues for others is a different matter. In every group situation, she attempts to immediately take charge and cement herself as a person of authority, directing her peers and offering input while doing little to none of the actual work herself.

>> Though reticent to answer, she seems to have a high propensity for addiction, and past experiences seem to confirm this. Due to her inability to properly manage stress and desire to control her emotions, she is easily drawn to mood-altering medication, alcohol, and expressions of sexuality. She views these vices as a point of strong shame, and does her best to prevent others from knowing about them.

>> Displays traits of Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder and Social Anxiety. The former manifests as an innate desire to control all aspects of her life, and by proxy, the lives of others, an adherence to self-imposed structure, and an obsessive focus on quality. Perceived lack of control, be it due to negligence or external factors, is a strong point of stress and may lead to a panic response. The latter largely manifests as a fixation on the judgement of others, to the point of fabricating observations and overanalyzing events for the fear that everyone who meets her secretly views her as incompetent. This is much more likely to lead to a panic response than the former, especially if she is placed in socially humiliating situation.

>> Born in 2049 to a family of 6 within Glasgow, Scotland. Outright refused to detail childhood experiences, leading profilers to believe some degree of trauma had occurred in her earlier years. Reluctance to talk about father during this time reinforces this suspicion. At age 12, migrated from Scotland to United States. Anecdote about a "schoolyard fight", as she described it, relates to aggressive trend of physical behavior throughout her life.

>> Graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School at age 18; coincidentally, applied for citizenship within United States during this time. For oral citizenship exam, scored a perfect score. Began pursuit of higher education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute [WPI]; major in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. After four years of study, earned Bachelor of Engineering for Mechanical and subsequently enlisted in the United States Air Force. Described reason for enlisting as "having an interest in aircraft, as well as an interest in helping pay my student loans".

>> Served in United States Air Force with AFSC [Air-Force Specialty Code] 1A9X1 for 11 years before being released from service. Exit was due to her involvement in the "Sparrow Affair",a high-altitude surveillance operation involving the use of a heavily modified Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird" for the purposes of reconnaissance.

{Timeline of Sparrow Affair}

Approximately 47 minutes after initial takeoff at a cruising altitude of 90,000 feet, reconnaissance systems officer Jordan Teller [henceforward referred to as RSO Teller] reported a mechanical error in the left turbine engine. Aircraft was still entirely operational; as a result, control center "Blackreach" charged with oversight of the SR-72 "Sparrow" declared a go-ahead with the intelligence operation. No further issues reported for a total of 20 minutes.

At one hour and seven minutes into the flight, the SR-72 entered severe thunderstorm conditions under the assumption that the aircraft would be able to handle the turbulence. A hostile SAM site approximately seventeen 17 miles below the Sparrow began a targeting procedure of the aircraft. One 2k12 "Kub" Russian surface-to-air missile was ejected and began flight, following the Sparrow's path for a total of 19 miles before breaking up due to turbulence from the severe weather conditions.

At approximately one hour, seven minutes and twenty-seven seconds into the flight, the SR-72 had traveled double the distance of the 2k12 Kub and suffered a catastrophic failure of its left engine. Cause of the failure was later determined to be a fuel line fracture as a result of metal fatigue; the fracture could have been caused in part by the heavy modifications done to the original SR-71 unit the Sparrow was based upon. The subsequent fire that started within the left turbine began spreading onto the wing. Blackreach ordered an immediate withdrawal as RSO Teller began running diagnostics on the in-flight systems to determined what, and where, equipment was compromised. Pilot McLoughlin initiated right turn at a 45 degree bank angle, further compromising the left engine due to drag and turbulence conditions.

McLoughlin had been credited post-mission for her skillful maneuver and handling of the damaged aircraft. Despite a heavily compromised engine, the aircraft was able to fly [though consistently dropped thousands of feet every few minutes] into United States-allied territory. McLoughlin initiated a rapid descent, causing Blackreach to frantically attempt to stop her; however, the pilot continued in her motions, citing that "it would be the only way they'd fucking live, you shitstains [sic]." Forces exerted upon the left engine caused a complete failure of the entire machination, leading to an explosion in the left turbine.

Shrapnel from the blast ejected out into the air, embedding itself into RSO Teller and Pilot McLoughlin's cockpit windows and frames. At this point, the SR-72 began to fall into a tailspin. Both pilots began to lose consciousness and initiated an emergency ejection; Teller was successful in the initial ejection, though the frame and release for the cockpit shield was heavily damaged in the explosion; as a result, his body collided with the ballistic glass of the frame and was successful in breaking through it, though he suffered rapid decompression of his pressurized suit and was assumed to have expired within seconds in the open air. His body and the chair he was strapped to descended to Earth and impacted at terminal velocity, landing within the province of ██████, ███████.

McLoughlin's ejection mechanisms were heavily damaged, though she was able to successfully complete the evacuation of the SR-72. The pressurized suit was not compromised in the process and a touchdown was completed by the sole surviving crew member.

Following the Sparrow Affair, McLoughlin was subject to a general court-martial and charged with reckless endangerment and involuntary manslaughter of Jordan Teller. Acquitted on all charges, Blair was still dishonorably discharged with neglect of duty and barred from further military service. McLoughlin found no further work until being contacted by Tyche industries two months after the event.

The entire affair was covered extensively by the media and was vital in deteriorating relations between the USA and the target country the SR-72 was sent to. McLoughlin was a vital figure in pop-culture, with many labeling her as a traitor to the USAF and the United States.

>> Displays a generally nonchalant temperament in social situations. More likely to socialize with others that she does not know; has a generally approachable personality. Tends to fit into the "Type B" personality type.

>> Patient, generally speaking— commonly works on small projects in order to consume time and, in her words, "take her mind off things". Enjoys tinkering and exploring parts of machinery. Displays curiosity when met with situations she doesn't understand, rather than fear.

>> Time in the USAF has instilled a sense of cockiness. This trait tends to rear its head when in conflict with others; most prevalent in arguments over expertise and experience. Appears to be insecure in her competence, specifically within fields she has education in.

>> Aerial combat and presence around firearms has led to a decreased fear of death. More likely to get in situations that endanger her own well-being, but is not entirely reckless; she is less likely to undertake actions that will lead to the endangerment of others. Internalizes fear responses in an attempt to hide weakness. Insecurities related to strength of character and fearlessness.

>> Demonstrates a more lax attitude when it comes to belongings. "What's yours is mine" comes to mind; does not shy from displays of affection when in romantic relationships, preferring to express her feelings in their entirety. Most likely a high level of promiscuity.

>> Despite time in the military, still displays a general disregard for authority. After an honorable discharge from USAF, this behavioral trait has increased significantly. In simpler terms, doesn't enjoy being coached or ordered by others, especially peers. More independent in work and other activities, preferring to do tasks herself rather than trust another.

"If somebody's going to screw up something I need to do, it'll be me. Which won't happen."

>> Displays two mild phobias: Agoraphobia, a fear of situations that cause helplessness or panic. The second falls under the category of Dementophobia, a fear of losing touch with reality or, in extreme cases, becoming insane. Though not entirely crippling in nature, the anxiety response should these situations ever arise would be substantial.
