Name: Orpheus

Race: Unvain

Image

Description: 6'1 feet tall, pale skin, charcoal black hair. His eyes are of a vibrant turquoise, and his features are soft and feminine despite his imponent height.

Personality: Orpheus is often seen as calm and reticent, and rarely comunicates to anyone who isn't his sister. His quietude contrasts with the chaotic noises in his mind, that doesn't know silence, and probably never will. Orpheus can be blunt at times, without actually intending to. He can read people's minds, yes, but more often than not he won't be able to fully comprehend the struggles of many people whose backgrounds he isn't aware of. He's a brain over heart sort of person, unless it has to do with his sister. He'll try to keep her out of trouble as often as he can - even though it's pratically impossible, taking the girl's recklessness in consideration.

Abilities:

Flying - Just like any other unvain, Orpheus has a pair of translucent wings, that allow him to fly around and to places.

Enhanced Everything - By default, any unvain is superior to humans in many things such as strenght, senses, intelligence, agility, and the ability to learn anything quickly.

Mind Reading - Orpheus' mind reading is a passive ability, meaning he doesn't have an on/off switch. He can listen to people's thoughts as clearly as he can hear their voices, the volume changing based on proximity and the emotional charge of each individual. With his enhanced senses, Orpheus' great hearing makes it impossible for him to be in a place of complete silence. He can lock himself in a room, and even though the thoughts on the outside may be impossible to comprehend due to the distance, it'll still sound like annoying rumble to his very sensitive ears.

Name: Eurydice

Race: Unvain

Image

Description:

5'9, with the same milky skin and obsidian hair as her brother. Her eyes are darker, more of an ocean blue, and she moves with the same sinuous grace as a feline predator. She always seems on the edge of motion, full of boundless energy, a trait that can quickly become uncomfortable if you happen to be stuck together in a closed room. This is only expounded by her sharp, unflinching gaze, a stare that seems to take in the sum of whatever it sees and weigh it on a scale of "interesting or boring?"

Personality:

Eurydice is, to put it simply, a thrill-seeker. Her unkempt passions send her bounding from thing to thing, jumping into situations that seem exciting without a moment's hesitation for safety. She's incredibly confident, bordering on haughtiness at times, and is always filled with a limitless sense of vigilant optimism. She has trouble relating to others on a personal level, often coming across as imposing or brash, despite her incredibly friendly demeanor. This may be because of her inability to fully empathize with the plights of others ("yeah, I get you're sad, but have you tried not being sad?"), or because she has a terrible habit of dragging them along, often unwillingly, on her strings of exhilarating escapades. In private, or among those she trusts, her energy seems to fade, almost descending to a state of lethargic apathy. The moment someone tries to pry, however, she's back up and smiling again, insisting nothing's wrong and she's just tired, that's all, thank you very much for asking.

Abilities:

Flying - Eurydice possesses the typical wings of the unvain, translucent sheets of light that can fold flat against her back. Hers are thinner and more angled than typical, however, seemingly allowing her faster, more acrobatically-inclined aerial prowess. Her stopping power is drastically reduced because of this, and if an obstacle comes up she's unable to skirt around, she will most likely run face-first into it.

Enhancements - Just as the other unvain, she has improved strength, senses, agility, and mental capability, though she seems to have lost some rationality in favor of better reflexes.

Blink - With a small pop, Eurydice is able to vanish, reappearing nigh-instantaneously somewhere within her line of sight. This ability leaves bright afterimages of her silhouette in the place where she disappeared, which quickly fade into the air. While travelling between points, there is a millisecond delay, during which she (or any passengers who happen to be touching her at the time) experience a dark void and a peculiar sense of rushing. She is only able to travel with about 3x her body mass at any given time, and if she attempts to carry more, bad things happen. The last time she tried, she was stuck in the in-between place for an hour, and reappeared fifty feet away from her intended target. Blinking too often, carrying things near her limit, or travelling long distances can take a physical toll on her body, eventually fatiguing her. If she is unable to concentrate, she is unable to blink.

Name: Michael "Mike" Smith

Race: Proselyte

Image

Description: Michael has green eyes and sand blond hair with long bangs, that hide the seal of solomon on his forehead. He's often carrying a cocky smile, framed by dimples and a strong jawline. He stands at 5'9 feet and his wings have a darker coloration than those of the unvains, with a dirty yellowy look to them. He always has a jacket on to disguise them, as they tend to bring some unwanted attention wheneve they are exposed.

Personality: Kyrios, Michael or Mike, how he prefers to be called is a proselyte who got kicked out of his dimention for impersonating his superior - the superior. He enjoys the easy lifestyle, and despite missing some aspects of his older life, he was able to addapt quite well to the life on earth, especially because, well, humans are dumber. He's a trickster, a liar, but not an all around evil person. He wouldn't harm anyone for no reason - unless he could profit from it in any way. He is charming, clever and witty, and despite not being attached to anyone emotionally in this dimention or any other, people tend to like him whenever he crosses paths with them.

Abilities:

Flying - Just like any other proselyte, Mkie has a pair of semi translucent wings, that allow him to fly around and to places.

Enhanced Everything - By default, any proselyte is superior to humans in many things such as strenght, senses, intelligence, agility, and the ability to learn anything quickly. Their strenght matches the unvains, but while their predecessors have a higher control of their abilities, proselytes tend to be more impulsive and driven by anger, when their power is explored to a max.

Sound manipulation - Mike can manipulate and create sounds. His abilities vary from being able to mimic any voice or sound to perfection, to produce sounds with a high enough frequency to blow up things and provide complete silence. He can mute someone temporarily if he doesn't feel like hearing their voice.

Name: Delilah "Del" Burton

Race: Human

Image

Description:

At 5'5, Del isn't particularly imposing in the slightest, and her oft-hunched posture only ever makes her seem shorter. She can often be seen with a vacant, dreamy expression on her face, doubtless lost in another one of her many fantasies. She walks, talks, and acts like someone fearful to draw attention to themselves, and usually dresses in voluminous jackets, old jeans, and button-up blouses that only further accentuates this impression. She has a light, bubbly laugh.

Personality:

She was self-confident, once, but years of cold shoulders and snide remarks have whittled her ego to its bone. Call it cliche, but she's never really fit in with most. Even from a young age, she's held an intense obsession for the occult, the supernatural, anything from the literary halls of mythology and legend. She's dabbled in almost every form of magic you could think of (none of which, to her eternal chagrin, were successful). She has a habit of slipping into vivid daydreams, many of which feature a recurring vampire boyfriend with an ancient gothic manor. Beyond her fantasies, she's a relatively accomplished student, a good organizer, and the best darn tiefling rogue her DnD group has ever seen.

Abilities:

Mathematical! - Del is pretty good at minor mental math, a result of copious tabletop gaming sessions. She can't do, like, trig or anything, but she can certainly add, subtract, and multiply like a champ.

Mind of a Scholar - She has an above-average memory and sense of reading comprehension. She's also relatively skilled at picking out important details or facts from walls of text. Her handwriting, though illegible to the common man, is exceptionally fast, capable of writing notes as quickly as someone is speaking. It's difficulty in deciphering is useful for her more... steamy... fanfics.

Embarrassing Hobbyist - In the secret depths of her dim-lit room, you'll find shelves upon shelves of magical lore books, manga series, player manuals for various games, and romantic supernatural fantasy. She also possesses the entirety of Supernatural (up to the current season), and a Pop Vinyl figurine of Cass (siiiiiigh~<3).
