Personality:
Kasume is the reserved sort, she tends to keep to herself and at the periphery of any social engagement. She is typically easy to converse with, and will not try to squirm out of conversations, though she rarely is proactive, more than content to allow the person she is talking with to lead the conversation. She extremely steady however, well put together and hard to shake even with sudden surprising news.

Her patience is also worthy of commendation, she has more than once waited upon the side of the wall for hours on end for a known Grimm target to skirt a little too close to the forest’s edge.

Biography:
Most of her patrolls on the walls or in areas of the city with lots vantage points

Her vigils when she is waiting on a single target are often livestreamed. She also does fan Q&A vigils. Her mods are very good at kicking assholes out of the chat.

Primary Power:
The magic inherent to, applied to, or controlled which passes through the gaze of her left eye is immediately negated. Anywhere where her gaze falls reality is forced to assert; witches cannot use their magic, and Grimm lose their natural resistance to bullets. Any Grimm with unstable or non-corporeal forms; such as slimes or ghasts are immediately killed.

Secondary Power:
When she is focusing in on a target the eye shows the likely path a bullet or other projectile will take. Any Grimm under the crosshair of her eye will take additional damage from any successful strike made against them. The eye can also expose to Kasume any natural weak points in the armor of the Grimm.

While transformed Kasume also gains access to a grappling hook which she can use to reach advantageous vantage points. The hook comes from a hole in her right wrist, which is covered by a long sleeve and a metal bracelet.


Tertiary Skill:
Kasume’s magic eye comes equipped with several different optics options, from x-ray to infrared and night vision. The eye also has a very good zooming function with limited loss to object clarity even at the edge of range.

Kasume is a deadshot with sniper and marksman rifles.

Hyper Power:
By exposing her magic eye to light Kasume can supercharge all of her other abilities greatly increasing their effectiveness against the Grimm. Further, once enough light has been absorbed by the eye Kasume can dilate time, slow down her perception of its movement and flow. Only she is affected by this dilation, but it allows her to nullify a large number of Grimm at once given how quickly she is able to switch between different targets.

Following the use of her Hyper, or even prolonged exposure of her magic eye to light, Kasume is prone to headaches and migraines.

It has been noted by DDC technicians that the rapid movement of her eye during the use of this power tends to make her look crazy, or like a character from a horror B-movie. Drone operators are recommended to not take video of her face during the power’s use, unless the footage can be slowed on the fly.

Clutch Power:
With her as the center Kasume creates a one hundred foot field which nullifies all magic. It cannot be cast within the field, nor can it be cast into the field from outside its zone of influence. Any Grimm within the field will be highly vulnerable to physical injury, and the bodies of any Grimm within fifty feet of the epicenter will begin to deteriorate.

Following the use of this power Kasume will lose sight in her magic eye for anywhere between one day and two weeks, and total loss of her powers for the same amount of time.

Personality:
Enthusiastic, driven and exasperated. Tendency towards using violence to solve external problems. Tends to ignore internal problems until the last possible moment; while most would see this as a flaw, it’s sort of the only reason she’s still sane. Views herself as the one true protector of New Kyoto, to such an extent that she sometimes challenges other Magical Girls who threaten her position to ‘duels,’ which sometimes involve actual fighting and sometimes involve other things, like children’s card games or singing and dancing. Almost never goes into something part-way.

Biography:
Born in Romania; moved to Kyoto as part of an aborted witch exchange program. Both countries now refuse to ship the witches they transferred back to their place of origin. The New Kyoto witches are a lot angrier about this than the Romanian witches, of course, although neither party is really in contact with the other, at present; Romania's infrastructure is not in great condition. Sylvia misses her homeland, and in particular the Carpathian mountains, but she doesn't dwell on this, any more than she dwells on anything else.

Primary Power:
Capable of using stored energy for a variety of purposes. She becomes faster, more durable, more agile and stronger, in that order. Energy will also passively regenerate damage, and keep her from losing function as a result of it. After a particularly tough battle, she can look literally undead.

Secondary Power:
Capable of draining negative emotions from humans, including herself, and channelling them into energy, which she can then use to power her primary. Her head is filled with negativity, which she deals with by both ignoring it and strictly controlling it. She can gain a whole bunch of energy all at once by drinking a human’s blood; even a comparatively small amount can give her a massive boost.

Tertiary Skill:
Decent singer; excellent dancer, though this is partially the result of her primary.

Hyper Power:
Expands the range of energy sources to include positive emotions. This will actually make her weaker in the long run, since like all witches her powers are made stronger by positivity, but in the moment it'll more than double her available power. Great for ending difficult battles quickly.

Clutch Power:
Expands the drain effect to include Grimm. This is horrible for her mental health, Grimm being what they are, but once again massively boosts her available energy reserves. Also enables her to drink the blood of Grimm, which makes her ridiculously strong but drives her into a temporary animalistic frenzy; this is bad.

Appearance:
Her body is completely monochrome. Her hair is white, her skin is chalky, her eyes are pale. The only visible exception is the inside of her mouth, which is the red you’d expect from a real human person. To offset this, she tends to wear clothing mixing some bright colour (red, green, blue) with black.
Her costume seems to agree with this choice; it’s a patchwork of bright, aggressive colours and swirling fabric. It looks great in motion, but when she stands still it seems ragged and broken. It repairs itself extremely quickly upon taking damage; this requires almost no energy on her part. The design seems to change from encounter to encounter, though it’s usually something long and flowing that nonetheless fails to get in the way of her ridiculous, anime-style acrobatics.

Saki is a rather cutsie girl, quick with a wink or ‘tee-hee’ should she bump into you by accident. She always seems happy or in a good mood no matter what happens, and seems prepared to flirt with just about anyone.

Biography:

Primary Power:
Saki surrounds an opponent or a closely grouped bunch of enemies with a large and sturdy bubble. She then rapidly constricts and shrinks the bubble down, crushing anything contained within.

Secondary Power:
Saki can create bubbles of any size or elasticity which she can use to surround herself or anything else she wishes to. These bubbles are extremely durable, the tougher bubbles hard to pop, and the elastic bubbles will forcefully attempt to return to their former shape, with more aggressive rebounds the closer one gets to the center of the bubble. Saki has found a wide number of non-combat uses for her powers, from cushioning falls of people jumping from burning buildings, to creating temporary bridges during other disasters, to creation of protective spaces for civilians being attacked by Grimm. If she can gets the weights right, she has even made them float before.

Tertiary Skill:
She is a trained EMT, and often on call for a wide number of different non-Grimm emergencies.

She’s also wicked with a violin or keyboard.

Hyper Power:
The space all around Saki is filled with a large number of quickly multiplying bubbles of various shape sizes and densities. These bubbles will scoop up any humans, and choke the life out of any Grimm unlucky to be close, or not smart enough to run away from the ever increasing wave of bubbles.

Clutch Power:
Saki creates a large and neigh impenetrable bubble with a misty black outer surface to it. This bubble has yet to be breached by any great showing of force, including a test where it was struck by the current rank 24, Kinetic-Blitz. It is known the clutch is made up of several layers of bubbles stacked on one another, and believed external damage is quickly repaired.

Takeover: After making a contract with a spirit Celeste can then equip them as Takeovers. Part of the spirit’s personality overtakes Celeste’s own, and in turn she is granted skills and abilities she does not possess in her normal state. She classifies her Takeovers into three classes.

Celestial Takeovers are formed with spirits who have more combative abilities. These spirits are formed from legends, myths, and heroes and possess a lot of power.

Support Takeovers are formed with spirits who have softer personalities and whose skills can aid in disaster and relief. These spirits are formed from traditions, ideas, and artistic expressions.

The Useless Takeovers are all born from mundane skills and mundane professions, and though not technically combat oriented hold more flexibility and potential than one might think. The repetition of daily life has empowered most of these types of spirits to make their skills exaggerated and perfect, and as such they also grant Celeste with their skills.

Celestial Takeover: Leo

Leo is the first Contract Celeste ever made. The embodiment of the constellation Leo, he has the abilities and personality traits most often associated with both the astrological sign and the beast. Proud and fiercely loyal, he will do anything to protect Celeste, even going so far as to force a Takeover if faced with no other choice. Though not particularly keen on wearing a female body, through their years together Leo has gotten somewhat used to Celeste serving as a host for him. It could be said that he views Celeste almost as a sister, though most people might mistake their closeness to be that of a couple.

Support Takeover: Rose

Rose was the third Contract made by Celeste. An embodiment of the act of giving a rose to a lover, her bouncy, loving, and sweet personality are so opposite of Celeste's that the two rarely get along. Unlike Leo, Rose take a somewhat deferential tack with Celeste as if she were afraid of her, though in truth the two are more alike than they seem. Rose also loves to be called upon, much as she loves everything. For Rose, despite the horrors she might see when needed to heal the injured, being hosted is as close as she can come to actually being alive, and that makes the experience all the more pleasurable for her.

Personality: Someone her age shouldn't be struggling with their own identity, or at least that's what she's told. Sometimes she questions which thoughts she holds are really hers, and which were ingrained by years of working as the Automaton General.

When she's not doubting herself, though, she's protective, both physically and emotionally. She can't stand an argument, especially between people she knows. She also despises rocking the boat, so to speak, and would much rather preserve the status quo.

Wu is also a natural planner; there's always a small part of her considering options and consequences, even for the most banal choices. This, along with her high workload, can sometimes leave her overwhelmed and frazzled.

Biography:

Primary Power: The Honorable Clockwork Corps
Jia conjures platoons of miniature semi-autonomous tin soldiers, armed with various tools to do her bidding. Standing at half a meter tall, individual shots from their large-bore firearms can feel more like a strong punch than a bullet. She can create any combination of any troops she likes, including sappers, scouts and heavy gunners, though for general purposes she usually summons squardrons that consist of exactly eight riflemen, four snipers and four spotters.
Secondary Power: Suppression
Jia Wu sends bright ivory bolts to obstruct enemies. On command, they detonate into smoke carrying secondary explosions like fireworks, battering and blinding anything caught inside. The gas does not spread, instead staying the same size, continuing to disrupt positioning and movement until dispelled.
Tertiary Skill: Because of Training
That saber isn't just for show. Jia is quite proficient at fencing, being able to comfortably hold off an opponent or two while her soldiers wear it down. Her armored gauntlets allow her to block attacks, too.
Hyper Power: The Endless Clockwork Corps
Wherever the legion may stand, the legion will hold fast. Ranks upon ranks of soldiers materialize, ready to fire. Destroy one, a platoon, a mile, and another will take its place. The upper limit of soldiers has not been determined, as Jia has never strained herself by creating too many soldiers, only holding this state of single-minded focus for too long.
Clutch Power: Cinderella Cage
They say that time heals all wounds, but wounds aren't the only things time ends. The Automaton General draws on isolation to summon a dome in which time accelerates rapidly, turning even bones to dust in a matter of moments. The General has some control over this, holding back or pushing the dome even further. Inside, time moves as usual, only disconnected from the outside. The dome can't be easily broken, but those inside really have all the time in the world to do so.

Personality: A good way to describe Aiba is "dispassionate until further notice". She's fun-loving, in a very certain way. Laid back and cool at rest, she's irreverent, sarcastic and generally someone you'd sooner expect on the internet than on the leaderboards for top Magical Girl. If she gets it in her head that she's on an adventure, though, few things can stop her. Firey, motivated and passionate. It's plain to see that she's found the high she's been chasing, that this is where her Magical Girl persona shines through.
Biography:
Primary Power: Bound Blade
Aiba carries an ornate broadsword that she can control remotely. While the dexterity with which she can guide it lessens with range, its power and speed do not. With an audience, she can dice swarms with ease. She's even able to fly sword-first if she can hold a good grip, though she avoids doing this too often as to affect her public brand.

Secondary Power: Sylvan Embrace
The military longcoat she dons does more than just flow in the breeze. In a split second, it can materialize timber and vines from thin air to protect its wearer. Aiba can also invoke its power to create various types of plants, provided there is somewhere for them to grow from. With a little extra effort, she can make her own customized plants to suit her needs, and she often uses real plants as a jumping-off point.

Tertiary Skill: Forest Ranger
Naturally, Aiba is a talented horticulturist, and can identify and make use many types of plants.

Hyper Power: Yggdrasil Paladin
Of course, what is a knight without her armor? Aiba drinks from the magic of the earth, becoming its protector and its sentinel. Magnificent plate grows around her, first in wood, then bark. Roots wrap around her, vines and leaves string themselves together into a verdant cloak. Bursting with life, each layer of armor is tougher than the next, and rebuild and reinforce each other even as damage is done.

Clutch Power: Natrual Order
Success comes naturally when the outcome isn't important. It's all very Zen, isn't it? When she doesn't care anymore is when the knight does her duty best. Like a puppet on strings, she just goes through the motions. In this state, she's a terrifying fighter. Deadly fast and strong enough to shear metal in two, she gains a supernatural sense of everything within ten meters of her. Coupled with a lack of hesitation and flowing, dance-like movements, she's hell to hit in a fight. Victory comes as easily as breathing, and means just as much.

Both bodies are controlled by the same mind, and thus contain the same personality.

Biography:

Primary Power:
Moto is able to create copies of any weapon which she has come into contact with. These weapons can be created by any of the bodies she currently has control over.

Secondary Power:
Moto is able to create up to five other clones, each clone will take the appearance of one person she has touched. These clones share the same mind as the two permanent bodies, and are directly controlled by it.

Tertiary Skill:
She is one hell of a one woman band.

Hyper Power:
While this power is activated, when one of her clones is killed, then it’s body will become whatever it was that killed it. Be it an animal, fellow human, Grimm, or an object.

Clutch Power:
With the activation of her clutch power, one of her clones touches any object or thing. The clone and the object or thing touched, with both melt or otherwise be destroyed; and this process can affect Grimm as well. The larger the object the more of her clones are needed to melt the object. At a later date she can then instead of creating a clone, create the object instead. If she has learned any Grimm powers, she can expend a clone to use that power.
