PERSONALITY:
A bit of a competitive gal, Koinen believes herself to be an above-average player. She tries to be serious all the time and keep a straight poker face when around others, but sometimes fails and briefly loses composure. Koinen knows when to be serious and thinks of herself as a team player, often preferring to serve as a distraction to her enemies so her allies can have an opening or readily offering up a healing item without hesitation. However, she also (sometimes unfairly) expects the same in return from her other teammates.

PvP is something Koinen has a little bit of experience in, and although she finds it enjoyable when she gets in a properly competitive mood she would rather stick to killing monsters and completing missions.


BIOGRAPHY:
Koinen is somewhat of a freelance player. Originally starting off her GGO career as a solo mission taker, she was soon invited to join a small party of tight-knit players looking for an extra member. From then on, she and the party habitually completed missions together for increased rewards and loot. Koinen ended up learning much of her tactics and game knowledge while playing with them.

After a few months of their now familiar schedule however, Koinen was very surprised and displeased when the party had informed him they were going to disband soon. Apparently they had enlisted into the military in real life and had initially joined GGO figuring the game would be good practice for them in the real world. Bidding them a crestfallen farewell, Koinen soon perked up again after she realised joining other parties was an option. Dozens of mostly successful missions with groups of players later, she had built a decent reputation for herself as a good teammate if you found yourself temporarily lacking a member.

SKILLS:
Radar Pulse: Though Koinen has her trusty handheld radar with her nearly all the time, Radar Pulse allows her to see a glowing outline of living entities within two dozen meters regardless of visual obstacles such as walls. This ability only lasts for ten seconds, with a cooldown of two minutes.

Unfazed: Koinen can instantly clear the effects of a single flashbang, concussion grenade, or stun grenade from herself. She can only apply this ability once every two minutes however, so if she is hit by the effects of another grenade during this interval she will be as affected as any other player.

Koinen loves her high collar. Her grenades are safely secured to her upper arms, her sole Medi-vial stored in pocket on the back of her belt, and her radar is tucked into her leftmost front pocket.

EXTRA (Optional):
Koinen's radar can detect heat signatures of any entities within short distances, allowing her to become less prone to surprise attacks. At close distances, Koinen's favourite tried-and-true tactic is to hide behind cover and stealthily throw decoy grenades to draw her enemy's attention to fake gun fire, then shoot them with a burst of real gunfire from behind.

Her collar is also very effective in masking the fact that she chuckles at bad jokes.

PERSONALITY:
She wanted 'Lilith' but it was taken, and adding letters is stupid, so Ilith it was. She believes that the most important stat is accuracy and that she's the most awesome player ever because her ACC stat is way up there. Ilith likes being part of a team, even though as a sniper she's not right there in the fray - but that just gives her more time to make awesome puns and wordplay, which people don't appreciate nearly as much as they ought to.

Her favorite part of the game is going up against a big boss-type with a good team and doing awesome damage and not getting hit. With a good team, Ilith shouldn't get hit, like, ever, and if she does, then someone isn't doing their job.

She hates PvP, because people always want to get up close for that and whine when you drop them from halfway across the map without warning. Monsters are way more fun.


BIOGRAPHY:
Ilith joined with a friend of hers who wanted to play, and then kept playing after the friend quit. She's bounced between a couple teams and never really found the right one, but she's hoping she'll find one soon that appreciates her skills - or at least that appreciates her puns. She's usually a very helpful member of the team, but gets frustrated because she often feels like she's forgotten about because she's in the distance and not right up close in the action with the rest of the team. This has led to some in-game drama with her not getting invited to a few chats and ending up leaving a couple teams and looking for new ones that will actually value her the way she deserves.

EXTRA (Optional):
Ilith believes in the fine art of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," which is why both her primary and secondary weapons are sniper rifles, and why she carries two different types of mobility enhancing gear. Her goal in a fight is to fire from far enough away that she's never in any actual combat, and if the combat gets too close, get the heck out and reposition. Despite her being off in the distance, she's always there for her team and would never actually abandon them.

Since she spends all her time using sniper weapons, she is extremely good with them, and knows their targeting zones like the back of her hand, which allows her, when calm and focused, to snap off a high powered sniper shot without even waiting for the targeting circle. It's a great way to start a fight... or to end one. Naturally sniper rifles don't fire as quickly as some other weapons, so she'll consider each shot carefully while she waits for her reload timer.

She relies on a team because someone has to keep the enemy busy so they don't get close enough to do something awful like actually hit her.

PERSONALITY:
Cyanide likes to think of himself as a badass bounty hunter. He enjoys killing player killers, and will often hunt them down for fun. This doesn't mean he's a jerk, of course. He just doesn't like bullies, which is why he chose the name "Cyanide" - because messing with him is comparable to suicide. When he's not roaming the wastelands for PKers, he likes joining mob hunts and especially enjoys a good, heated boss raid.

Keeping in with his habit of "bullying the bullies," he often teams of with lower-level players to offer them a layer of protection while they hunt mobs and bosses. When working with a team, he often takes up a diversion role and provides supporting fire from a distance.

The best part of the game, in his opinion, is the strategy involved in taking down an enemy - especially other players. The unpredictability of other players is something he enjoys working around, and he enjoys it when he manages to out think them. He doesn't like it when they get close, though, which is why he invested in his sawed-off and hatchet. You know, insurance.


BIOGRAPHY:
Cyanide wasn't always a regular player. He initially started out as a debugger and bot tester during GGO's beta testing phase, using special command prompts to access in-game command terminals. His job was simple for the most part: Straighten out any small bugs and glitches found, report the larger ones to the development staff, and don't break the game. For working on the beta, he was given a premium edition gas mask and early access to the completed game.

After being bumped down to regular player status, he lost access to most of the development tolls that he had used before, but discovered that they had forgotten to strip him of his debugging panel that he used to work on bots. Needless to say, he used it to skip several missions and juice the rewards until the development team implemented a security system on all of the mission kiosks. He now spends most of his time bullying player killers that like to pick on new players.

Instant Cover: Generates a 3'0" tall hardlight shield in front of the player, with an opening for his or her gun. It has the durability of a medium-VIT player, and shatters once it is depleted.

Armor Eaters: Increases the penetration of the player's ammunition, improving their effectiveness against shields and armor. This skill only affects the ammunition currently loaded in the gun, meaning the player would be wise to reload before using this skill.

EXTRA (Optional):
Cyanide is a lefty. He laughs when he manages to startle his enemies or gets them by surprise. He's also known to crack the occasional corny joke to lighten the mood. His favorite tactic is to blind his enemies with smoke grenades or tear gas, then tear into them with heavy fire from above. He likes to have the high ground in most confrontations.

APPEARANCE:
Cyanide stands six feet tall and has a muscular build, weighing in at about 263 pounds. He wears a dusty brown trench coat with the hood up, a pair of desert camouflage combat fatigues, and a pair of sturdy combat boots. His face is hidden behind a camouflaged gas mask; a premium item he bought for actual cash. He keeps his shotgun holstered to his right leg, and his hatchet on his left. He carries his spare ammo in a dusty satchel on his side, though he has been known to carry spare shotgun shells in the pockets of his trench coat.

Underneath his mask; he has dark green eyes; short, raven black hair; and deeply-tanned skin. He has what looks to be a burn scar across his right cheek.

Blythe

PERSONALITY:
As an introductory mission NPC, Blythe's AI is based on the simple call and response system of typical GGO NPCs, but offers a more complex and dynamic range of dialogue options in order to provide maximum support to new players. She is programmed to be helpful, polite, and compassionate towards those in her party, and will willingly offer any support they need, even at the detriment of her own well being. She has an innate understanding of the basic mechanics of GGO, and will enter a tutorial lecture mode upon request. While she typically despawns when the party players leave the questing area, a flaw in her party following protocols has led to her remaining a member of the active party until the quest resolves. This may cause unintended consequences in her proper function.


BIOGRAPHY:
Blythe is one of many AI NPCs designed to give new players a basic understanding of the game and accompany them on their first tutorial mission. Her constructed backstory is that of a wandering combat medic who requires the party's help to defend her caravan from raiders. She will occasionally reference this from time to time, especially when idle.

PERSONALITY:
Grace is a hardcore roleplayer who at least tries to keep in character, except for when he pulls and all nighter and starts to not give a fuck. Grace role-plays as a man with little to lose which is why he mainly attempts flashy stealth kills and poses everytime he gets killed, it's also why he sits at Cafe tables pretending to pout while in between queues for matches. Despite his actions Grace is quiet only speaking when he sees an opportunity to flesh out his "rich backstory" or build his persona through the death of a comrade or other major event and once night hits he doesn't even want to talk about himself anymore, instead he becomes a video gaming beast focusing all the brain power he can muster on the game. It's fair to say Grace's real life personality is a complete mystery, but his online personality is best described as suicidal and melancholy yet deeply caring for his friends. Grace enjoys morning his loses in team battles as if they were actual war zones with a thousand miles stare, growing on and on about how he's getting too old for this and most of all getting badass knife kills all in the name of role play.

BIOGRAPHY:
Grace unlike most people who played GGO went in completely blind at first, but that was actually on a different account. The account I_was_ungraceful is actually the 13 account created by the same teenage boy and by far his favourite. His entire build and load out are finely tuned to his play style and min maxed to create a unique yet under powered class the teenage boy known as Grace would call: The maze runner. He created the maze runner strikely with the intentions of creating a build that could turn the enemies own base against them and specialized in close quarters combat incase he bumped into anyone while setting up traps. Grace could have easily completed his build by doing missions but instead he chose pking in the monster infested deserts because he found it to be the most fun for him until he reached his desired level then switched to pvp.

PERSONALITY
Argent has a fascination towards the Latin and Greek languages. She doesn't talk a lot to other players and prefers to go on hunts alone. However, her friends sometimes invite her to hunts, but she tends to get carried away and tries to convince her teammates that she can handle most of the fighting. The two most important stats for her is SPD and DEF. She is very impatient and prefers to rush her enemies in battle.
She loves fighting big bosses alone and using her speed to dodge enemy attacks while shooting. She only brings out her photon sword if she consumed all of magazines.
PvP battle royale is her favorite part of the whole game and loves testing her skills in big competitions.

BIOGRAPHY:
Argent1 was invited to play with her friends, and fell in love with the game after a few hunts. Her friends started to become busy in the real world and rarely played with her anymore. She started started playing solo. It was hard for her to find a team to join up with because of the loadout she chose for herself. She hopes that she will find a team that will appreciate her unique fighting style.

Personality: Nem is generally a pretty respectful person. She's cheerful, and plays this game for fun as much as she plays to compete. She's the sort who doesn't see the difference between playing to win and playing for fun, but paradoxically enough, she despises "boring" optimal play. The "best builds" are her anathema, and she'll only begrudgingly accept their use on her teammates because at least she's not playing against them. Nem can definitely get tilted if you push her buttons, but she tries to rein herself in, despite getting repeatedly shut down by those damn sweaty angle-camping build-copying tryhards--

Ahem.

Bio: NemuAme has been playing on and off for a few months, only getting serious in the past few weeks. She dabbles in PvE, but most of her time has been spent in PvP arenas, especially small team battles with randoms. She's been wanting to join a crew for a while now, but hasn't found many she likes yet.

The Heckler & Koch G11, an experimental caseless assault rifle. Loading a 45-round mag, it can fire at a blistering 2100 RPM... during three-round bursts. A free-floating barrel and feeding mechanism make it so that the recoil of the first two shots don't reach the wielder until the third shot leaves the barrel.

The Thompson Contender, a break-action pistol with replaceable barrel and caliber. Respectable damage and effective range, with one glaring issue: it's a break-action pistol. With one barrel.

The Welrod, an internally-suppressed bolt-action pistol with subpar damage and terrible effective range. A close-up headshot will still do the job, and especially at point-blank, the internal suppressor will reduce the sound to a whisper.

The Taurus Judge, a 5-shot revolver loaded in .410 bore shotgun shells. While useless at any range past close combat due to its short barrel, anyone up close should probably make their prayers.

PERSONALITY:
LL is not the happiest girl around, she seems as if she lives her life in a continual funk and as if there is nothing that can make her happy. This isn’t actually true, of course, but it wouldn’t take much imagination to believe. She’s a dower sort, and is borderline anxious at times, locking up as she starts to expect the worst to happen and can’t escape the spiral of negative thoughts.

She is a serious sort, often meticulous when facing a problem and searching for the best way she can tackle it. She is also, typically, not harsh with people and can seem doting at times with people that she actually likes.

In combat she is often much looser, and willing to take risks she often wouldn’t normally.



BIOGRAPHY:
LL has put about a year into the game, and in that time she has spent a majority of it floating between squadrons. She tends to gravitate towards events, be they PvE or PvP based, and greatly enjoys the challenge of facing off against other players. She however has little love for those to prey on people who are clearly just in the game to enjoy the atmosphere and fight against the different mobs.

Her playstyle is fairly aggressive, focused on getting in on an enemy fast, or moving to a more advantageous shooting position before her opponent has the opportunity to react.

HL Grappling Hook

The hook remains active so long as it is attached to an object, and a new hook can be fired every fifteen seconds.

A grappling hook and rope made of a hard light can be fired by the player and the head of the hook will attach to whatever surface it lands on. The rope can then by used by a player as one might a normal grappling hook, and can accommodate the weight of two persons at a time. Should the head of the hook be detached from its surface or somehow destroyed the hook and the rope will vanish.

Bullet Burnout
Once activated it lasts for fifteen seconds then has a three minute cooldown. While activated the fire rate of any weapon the player is using is increased by fifty percent. The system also assists the player for rapid reloads while the skill is active.

Improv

PERSONALITY:
Improv is an easy going guy that prefers stealth to the direct conflict common among the GGO servers. He enjoys the challenge of the indirect approach, finding it much more rewarding to defeat his enemies with clever use of us his gear and skills than simply mowing him down. He is willing to take all the time necessary to attain this goal, but often finds his patience annoying to larger groups. As a result he prefers solo or small groups. Despite his preference he knows sometimes stealth is not an option, and will adapt accordingly.


BIOGRAPHY:
Improv started playing GGO in his free time a few years ago. Initially he played like most other players but found himself constantly killed and uninterested in the shooter. He took a break for a while, replaying some old non virtual games, and got an idea. Inspired by some of his favorite games he decided to try again and play GGO more like splinter cell than call of duty. His indirect stealthy approach really surprised many of the players he fought against, and he loved every minute of it.
