Wew, apologies for lack of sufficient entries - trying my best to set a scene as to not forcefully move any played characters. Also tiredness doesn't help :p

Sorry :p

Need to sleep. Sorry.

We also need to pause for Archer. Sorry! Got too much into it. Feel free to do a recap post to comment on everything we've done. Once more, I'm sorry!

You guys go on without me for a bit, we can meet again later, my thesis defense is tomorrow and I need to ready a suit and sacrifices/peace offerings for the panelists.

Alright. Sorry for not making this post earlier, but here's a recap of Hanglesworth Town.

Hanglesworth is a notorious town mainly because it proved to be a turning point for the Imperium, King Adurrel managed to slip behind the Greenvillian forces in a decisive victory that led to a conquering spree, a spree the locals have called The King Adurrel's Race . Prior to the war, however, Hanglesworth was your run of the mill town with a decaying populace. This changed once King Adurrel appointed the town as a marked outpost of the Imperium after the said victory, leading various caravans to Hanglesworth's gates. While these included supply caravans mostly for the troops, Falloyore merchants seized the opportunity to have free escort with their own merchandise and manage to trade with different towns, which Hanglesworth was on top of. Today Hanglesworth is quite successful in the economic department and has even recently have been upgraded to Noble Status which allows the village elder (now more of a governor than a village elder) to acquire land adjacent to the town and allow him/her to explore it economically (see: make farms for food or luxury stuff like silk). It also helped that the fact Hanglesworth was positioned in such a good area with fantastic fertile soils that yielded extremely good produce. Essentially, they struck a hidden gem.

Hanglesworth is also the connecting and fastest way to Haven Rock, a town located right after a deep valley. Since this was located in such a good position, previous Greenvillian occupants had easy battles against invaders, as they needed to bottleneck their forces under a tight valley. This made it easier defensively and thus Haven Rock was never taken from Greenville. Greenville abused this fact by harassing Imperial troops and retreating to the valley when in danger, which made the war go into a deadly stand-still (favouring Greenville). When King Adurrel seized Hanglesworth Town, a much more vulnerable area, he opened a direct path to the heart of Haven's rock, circumventing the entire valley and leading to the defeat of Greenvillian forces stationed there. From then on out, every remaining Greenvillian territory was quickly captured with the lightning advance of the Imperial forces.

Today, Hanglesworth Town is seen as a connecting town to the east side of Sardastia. Its name is echoed throughout the trade routes and welcomes caraveneers, adventurers and travelers alike.

So out of curiousity, there aren't any nations hostile to random travellers are there? Rolan is more interested in general knowledge and doesn't like to gather propaganda as information.
