*Dwarf Bread explanation;
Rock-hard (and indeed contains various rocks such as gravel), never goes stale, and is terribly sustaining. A traveller can go for miles, just knowing there's dwarf bread in their pack. A traveller can think of just about anything to eat rather than dwarf bread including their own foot and even pumpkins.

*The Klatchian Fire Engine Explanation;
The Klatchian Fire Engine looks like a large kettle that consists of a barrel with a tube coming out of the front mounted on wheels. The Klatchian Fire Engine has been banned by eight countries and three religions have said that any soldiers found using it would be excommunicated (Five others embraced it as a holy weapon and commanded that it be used on infidels, heretics, gnostics and people who fidget during the sermons).

The train's first two major stops are Borogravia and Uberwald, the first stop is Borogravia, where the people are religious fanatics with a penchant for banning stuff you CANNOT do and never saying what you CAN do, they always declare war on their neighbors for doing stuff their religion forbids despite their religion being very minor everywhere else, Uberwald is a combination of the USSR and Transylvania, the main threats to the train there are dwarven extremists who are basically dwarven Taliban, and the Werewolves, who are the Disc's version of skinheads, except they have hair, lots of it.

Don't worry about buying a Sausage-in-a-bun, its made from pork and flies don't ever touch it, and that's all I can say about it.
