It's night time already but Rorres just woke up from his sleep, taking deep breath and trying to calm his self down. It's the same nightmare again, not like he remember what is it about. Is it just a bad dream? Or maybe a fragment of his long lost memories? Whatever it is, Rorres didn't care enough to thinking about it while he's awake and since it's night already he's ready to open up his shop, to buy or sell something those scavenger needs.

(is it still on? or dead already?)

Sarah is a brilliant engineer and forger she works hard every day to make people stay alive in her area. She wants to help everyone but she's clumsy in combat but you will need to search the 4 quorners of the globe to find someone more devoted and a better worker in a Garage then her.

Princess stepped outside of the Hub, the crack of her gum popping the only sound in the night.
"Would you quit that?" hissed a voice coming from her right side.
She smirked and flipped off the speaker, blowing another enormous bubble. The male who had spoken scowled and watched with anticipation in his eyes, flinching when the bubble burst with another deafening pop.
"Piss off, Yale," she smirked, not bothering to brush the neon pink choppy bangs out of her eyes. "My life, my gum."
"That doesn't even make sense," Yale muttered, crossing his bulky arms across his chest. "And the gum isn't even yours, it's the Hu-- Hey! Where are you going?"
The 18 year old female was already swaggering away, her boomer gun angled over her shoulder. She tossed a grin back at the male.
"You comin' old man? I ain't slowing down for you."
Yale growled an inaudible reply and chased after her. His muscular legs allowed him to catch up quickly, and his arms were thick as tree trunks. He wanted to throttle her with those arms.
"Prinny, ever heard the term inconspicuous?" he murmured to her as she stomped haphazardly across what used to be a parking lot. The remnants of faint white lines were long since gone, bleached by the sun and covered with blood and filth.
"Nope," she smiled cheerfully, blowing another bubble.
"Okay, well how about unobtrusive?" he tried again, his low tenor carrying through the night despite his attempt at a whisper.
"You're too loud and once again, no," Princess responded, taking a pair of binoculars out of a pocket of her cargo khakis.
"I'm too loud?" he whisper-shouted.
Princess shushed him: "Shut up, I'm trying to listen."
He frowned and creeped behind her.
"Well listen to me!" he demanded. "One of these days we're gonna get caught by a runner with you ratcheting across the asphalt and popping your stupid bubble gum and making rude loud obscene gestures!"
She snorted and halted.
"Didn't know my obscene gestures bothered you, Allie."
He huffed and folded his arms.
"Don't call me that."
"Then don't call me Prinny."
"Whatever."
"Thought so."
Princess froze and held up a hand; Yale immediately followed suit, both pausing with a prenatural stillness.
"Do you hear that?" mouthed Princess.
They both listened for an indication of movement in the surrounding area.

Jax screeched as he fought with another runner over a fresh carcass, not long after princess and Yale noticed he ripped out the other runner's throat before continuing to eat, "SWEET AND FRESH, the only way to ensure it will be is to endure a fight after it stops it's burn" Jax sang, mostly creeping the two of them out despite not noticing them

.

But during the night is when the Runners come out to play. All of the humans that survived the initial solar flare were split into two groups- Normal Humans, and Runners. Runners are mutated humans that share a striking similarity to Zombies from movies and games. The only difference is that Runners are highly intelligent just like humans and can climb and open doors. The only reason they don't attack communities at night is because they are unable to use weapons for some reason.

(does this go for crude melee weapons too or just ranged ones?)

Princess scrunched up her face in disgust as she overheard what could only be the sound of a runner... feasting. She gestured towards Yale, indicating that the two of them should run, or at least get moving. Princess shoved the binoculars back into her pocket and tossed several guns and knives hidden under her leather vest and belt towards Yale.
"Grab 'EM and go, Yale," she mouthed. "Gotta leave while it's distracted."
He nodded, face pale, and strapped the knives to his calves and holstered the automatic, releasing the safety with a slight click.
The two of them stiffened and then began to run silently in the opposite direction of the noise.
"Where are we going?" whispered Yale. "Back towards camp I hope?" he puffed between breaths.
Princess shook her head in a negative.
"No. Headed towards the Garage. Need parts 'n stuff."
Yale's eyes bugged out crazily as they scampered past run-down shops and buildings but remained quiet aside from heavy breathing as they both listened for following-- or new-- footsteps.

Jason was making his rounds in the smaller communities while the Scavs went to work. It wasn't easy to keep track of so many people, and more often recently people have been disappearing. Whether they wander out to try their luck in that deadzone or get abducted and trafficked for eating or other reasons, they're gone.

Coming up to a small group of 5, Jason noticed that one of the survivor's girlfriend was starting to pale, and her veins were bluer and more pronounced. He calmly put his clipboard back on his hip, drew his .357 and shot the girl dead. The shot echoed throughout the Walmart, but it wasn't an uncommon occurrence. Most of the time it was a Scav that got bit by a runner while out on a scavenge, and refused to be escorted to Quarantine in time to treat the infection.

You see unlike in most Zombie situations, the infection is not nearly as life-ending if you catch it. Provided you are isolated within the first 24 hours of contact, most doctors can treat it away through the use of painkillers, antibiotics and injections into the bone-marrow.

Jason believes that if you get bit and refuse to get Quarantined and save your own life, you're a damned fool who is too paranoid that the 'Doctors' are going to harm you instead of help you. When the Scav's boyfriend went to hit him, Jason side stepped him and brought his elbow down on top of the man's head, sending him crashing to the ground and making his nose spurt like a faucet, though not broken.

"Report infection to your nearby peace officer, that's one of the few rules we have here. Imagine if your little girl there turned and went wild on so many people. How many throats would be ripped out? How much medicine would we have to waste because of your ignorance? How many deaths would there be?"

Jason walked away from the group and holstered his .357, resuming his duties on his clip board.
Anybody can give me a compliment, but the only ones that really mean much to me are from my princess.

Two figures entered the remodeled Walmart, slipping inside just before the sun went up. The female grinned at her counterpart as they went over to their sleeping bags and tossed down their junk. They paused for a moment as a shot was heard echoing in the store, but resumed their activities, the male clicking his tongue in dismay.
"'Nother one, I 'spose," he tsked.
Princess shrugged and polished the barrel of her newish gun.
"You'd be a fool to not go to the infirmary. What Jason does is right. I would do it," she murmured.
Yale shook his head.
"I could never."
Princess looked up at him, her eyes a burning green.
"And that's why you're never gonna survive without me, Yale."
Yale scoffed, flexing a beefy arm.
"Who do you think picked you up off the street, Prinnie?"
She spat her gum out and it landed on Yale's cheek; he squealed in disgust and flung it in a nearby trash can, which was already overflowing with debris.
"You might've picked me up off the street, but I saved you from the street. Don't delude yourself, Y." She blew him a kiss as he rolled his eyes. "You might be older, but we both know I'm the older sibling."
"Pah," Yale muttered.
Princess smirked.
"That's the truth, and you know it." She finished cleaning her gun and shoved it in a trunk with her others, taking out a few hand grenades and pistols and then locking the chest back up. She handed a few of each to Yale, who grunted but took them.
"I'm hungry," she told him.
Yale glared.
"That sounds like a you problem."
"You're not hungry?" she asked, sounding surprised, holstering the pistols and tucking the grenades into her belt.
Yale's stomach rumbled in response.
"Thought so," Princess grinned smugly. Yale sighed and stood, putting his weapons away.
"Fine. What is it that you want?"
"Twinkies."
"Gross."
"That's a you problem."
"Whatever."
They both walked towards other shelves, looking for food or people to mooch off of.

princess and Yale heard Jax yelling as he sprinted past the front of the Wal-Mart to his den "OH SHIT! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! SHIIIIIT!", they heard the runner until he was safe in his den, shielded from the sun and seven yards deep, the den only sheltered one other runner due to the fight outside.
One less after the unnamed runner got his throat ripped out for laughing and got thrown outside to get burned, "that's what you get for laughing you coward!"

Princess and Yale found some twinkies, much to Princess' delight. She stuffed them in her mouth, chewing happily.
"What now?" asked Yale.
Princess shrugged.
"I dunno, and I don't care."
