Alarik would notice lucas' power and got an idea, but first he put three rounds into what remained of the bomber, not wanting a potential terrorist to go with just one attack scarring them. Afterwards the doctor would make his way to the two children, adjusting his plague doctor-like mask. "Hello, I am Alarik, King Dedede's royal scientist and enforcer. Would you like an opportunity to get a good amount of pay in exchange for some blood samples? It is officially approved by the king himself and will only take a minute, not including the time it takes to get to the palace." He would ask, his amber eyes seemed to almost glow from the angle he looked down at the two at.

Meanwhile the drone was abnormal for his kind too, though, for a much darker reason. Usually "Unmutals" like himself were unable to work with other Yanme'e. Sometimes leading to homicidal rampages in hives, othertimes just being a detriment. Though they at least weren't as hive-minded and incapable of independent thought as the normal ones were. A trait some would call a blessing while it is technically a disability.

Meanwhile, behind Alarik, a large creature watched from some brush. It was a dog. A Wolfwrath, to be exact.

He was enormous compared to a pup like Frostfire, standing at about 5'00", and he was most certainly more than fully-grown. The fire-colored Wolfwrath simply stayed where he was, observing Alarik calmly with an emotionless look on his face, though it was always possible that he could become aggressive if Alarik were to approach, and he wasn't nearly as harmless as Frostfire. However, such a chance encounter was perfect- exactly what the doctor had needed.

The dragon wondered what the Yanme'e was and where he was from as he watched, one small ear twitching thoughtfully. He wished there was an easier way to communicate with the insect.

Alarik sighed from the potential source of samples exiting, soon turning around only to see the wolfwrath. At this point he seemed to try the same trick he used to get frostfire, this time using a container that wouldn't shatter more than needed to get the dose in, along with a much higher dose. mostly to make up for the size increase, while a numbing agent coated the glass.

The Wolfwrath simply ignored the bait, watching stonily as it fell to the ground in front of him. When the container fell to the ground, he crouched down to sniff at it, and a low grunt of suspicion escaped him when he smelled the sedative in it. The Wolfwrath took one giant, powerful paw and slammed it down onto the glass, easily shattering the container even though it was made of a stronger material than the previous one.

The Wolfwrath then straightened his posture and stared stoically at Alarik once again.

As the glass got into his paw pads it seemed to make Alarik mumble a bit, soon taking back his hand and trying to sew it back on. "So you're even more intelligent than the pup I found, let me remove those shards in your paw." He responded, curious if he would be allowed to.

The Wolfwrath stared at Alarik quietly, as though considering what he said. Finally, after several moments, the massive wolf slowly padded closer to Alarik, where he sat down before the doctor and held out his paw toward him.

He gently rubbed his chin before starting to apply something to the cuts, not smelling like more sedatives, but something odd. "This may sting a bit but it's better than death by possible infection or gangrene." The doctor warned him as the substance disinfected the wounds before he wrapped each pad in guaze.

The Wolfwrath watched Alarik work silently, then lowered his head and let out a soft growl of thanks to the Doctor, observing his newly treated paw.

"Trickery won't work on you, so I have a proposition. If you come with me, I could provide you food, a spacious shelter to roam in, and a legacy." Alarik seemed to respond, giving him some sort of root "to counteract the sedative".
