Poetry Book

Post by Apollyon » Mon Dec 11, 2017 1:08 pm

I hope you all enjoy my poetry.

Once, there was a little boy

He loved to play with his little toy

In a little city on the outskirts

That was hit by a wave of bad.

Little boy ran

As fast as he can

Mommy and daddy dead

A building fell on top of their head

Little boy was crushed

Under the weight of his guilt

And so he bore the name!

10/10
Bravo
Best apocalypse
Alone she drifts from ancient mists
Nary a candle, nary a wish
But in the wont of wandering paths
Through wooded knolls, and windworn crags
She seeks a face she thought as friend
But now -- she thinks as judgement's end

Winter's Folly is the gentle breaking of the clouds
and the change from chilled to brisk.
The polite dew that sits on the fronds
instead of the morning frost
that comes in droves to murder ferns.
The cherries begin to blossom as
the trees start to grow their hair
out once again for another half year.
The bombs fall down still, raining hell
upon those without a resistance to their fire.
And yet also watering those trees
who bring forth new life to rise
and fall.
Winter's Folly is the test of time,
and its Folly will become its might as
it decides when to end.

I apologize for being away so long.

I had people to take care of.

In this realm, some lives move fast
Others move so slow.
You may think that a life will be so successful
It will garner so much attention
But when put into practice it moves slowly.
That does not stop it from being effective, from gaining notoriety,
From gaining fame in the eyes of the viewer.
Perhaps a life moves much faster than ours,
Yet ends so much quicker because
People cant keep up and so they stop
Viewing.

Slowly falling through this facade we call life

Desperately clawing for a hold

Time is fluid, has it been 6 months or 6 minutes?

I cannot swim and I cannot stand

Floating through existence
