This creature's innate spellcasting ability is INTELLIGENCE. It can innately cast the following two spells at will.

MISTY STEP [2/day]
CLOUDKILL [1/day]

This creature is an entity which commands the BEYOND. It has a spell save DC of 17, and its casting ability is based around INTELLIGENCE.


ACTIONS
PITIFUL WAIL. The entity unleashes a pathetic cry. All creatures that are not deafened and hear the cry must make an intelligence saving throw, or a dexterity saving throw to cover their ears, or be FRIGHTENED for the duration. Any creature under the effects of the ear-splitting PITIFUL WAIL cannot attack the Wailing Mass until the end of their next turn. They must also use their movement to travel in a straight line away from the Wailing Mass.

ANGUISHED ROAR. To all creatures that may hear, the Wailing Mass releases a hateful cry. All creatures within hearing distance must make a wisdom saving throw, or a dexterity saving throw to cover their ears, or be FRENZIED for the duration. Frenzied creatures must use their action to harm either themselves or a creature other than the Wailing Mass on their turn. Creatures will repeat their saving throw at the end of their next turn.

VAPOR SQUIRT. A gaseous cloud of harmful vapor is released from the teats of the Wailing Mass, projected in a 15 cubic foot sphere that travels 10 feet per turn. Creatures that begin their turn within the cloud of vapor must make a constitution save or be PARALYZED until the end of their next turn and suffer 1D6 DAMAGE. Creatures repeat their saving throw at the beginning of their turn if they are still trapped within the cloud.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS. At the end of another creature's turn, the Wailing Mass can make the following actions.
-
MULTIATTACK. The Wailing Mass can attack two times, stabbing with its pincers [+6 to-hit, 4D6 PIERCING DMG].
- CHOKE UPON FLESH. The Wailing Mass can eject a portion of its body in an explosive radius of ten feet for 15 damage, with its own form as the epicenter. All creatures within the radius must make a dexterity saving throw, or be knocked prone and suffer
3D6 NECROTIC DMG, or half on a successful save [DC: 15].

REACTIONS
RETALIATORY SCREAM. As a reaction, the Wailing Mass unleashes a disembodied, harshened scream to the creature that last attacked it. The creature must make a wisdom save or suffer 4D6 PSYCHIC DMG, or half on a successful save [DC:17].

ELVEN WEAPON TRAINING
Proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

ELVEN CANTRIP
One cantrip taken from the wizard spell list. Intelligence is the spellcasting ability for it.

ABILITY SCORE IMPROVEMENT
Dexterity score increases by 2. Intelligence score increases by 1.

KEEN SENSES
Proficiency in Perception skill.



EXTENDED SPELL
When casting a spell that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, spend 1 sorcery point to double its duration to a maximum duration of 24 hours.

QUICKENED SPELL
When casting a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, spend 2 sorcery points to change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.

SHADOW SORCERER QUIRK
Body is continuously cold.

EYES OF THE DARK
Darkvision of 120 feet. At 3rd level, can cast Darkness using sorcery points or a spell slot. Casting with sorcery points allows caster to see through the darkness.

STRENGTH OF THE GRAVE
Exist in a twilight state between life and death. When reduced to 0 hit points, make a Charisma saving throw (DC 5 + the damage taken). On a success, instead drop to 1 hit point. Unable to use this feature if reduced to 0 hit points by radiant damage or by a critical hit.

After the saving throw succeeds, the feature cannot be used until finishing a long rest.


HOUND OF ILL OMEN
At 6th level, gain the ability to call forth a howling creature of darkness to harass foes. As a bonus action, spend 3 sorcery points to summon a hound of ill omen to target one creature that can be seen within 120 feet. The hound uses the dire wolf’s statistics.

• The hound is size Medium, not Large, and it counts as a monstrosity, not a beast.

• It appears with a number of temporary hit points equal to half the sorcerer level.

• It can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. The hound takes 5 force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.

• At the start of its turn, the hound automatically knows its target’s location. If the target was hidden, it is no longer hidden from the hound.


SHADOW WALK
At 14th level, you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action, you can teleport up to 120 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness.

Thagi knife-eared scum. My great ancestor killed your kind in droves during the War of Vengeance. Knife-ears born after HIgh King Snorri Whitebeard's reign can't fight, all they do is hug trees, make subpar crafts and enchant they swords that they can't even wield LMAOOOOO
