"It's a movie!" Prism related, "From like...a couple years before I was born or something? Apparently I used to watch it, like, constantly when I was about two or three. That and The Little Mermaid. Anyhow! You should watch it sometime. We can have a movie party or something. You know, like this one, but not so much Luna Hawk The Movie and more Animated Features for Five-Year-Olds. If you got escorted in, it's probably because you're too awesome not to be here," she added easily. That, and-or because Luna Hawk thought this girl needed some friends. That would be a very Luna-esque thing to do. No doubt she was busy right now with, like, a million other things, but Prism was good at friendship.

"Anyway! It's a party for teen superheroes or people involved in the superhero community or fans of Luna Hawk Adventure Comics or, in some cases, all three. So, there, now you know as much as the rest of us, and you fit right in." Prism might have been chatty, but she had the distinct sense that Celia Rose didn't really know what to say about all of this, and she still looked like she was upset about whatever it had been. Sometimes it was easier to listen to others chatter than worry about being put on the sopt, so Prism just let talking happen, giving the other girl a chance to get her bearings.

"Well, Light likes both, I guess. Mainly movies though," Shadow replied.
"I can answer for myself," Light said to his sister, turning away from Kendra.
"Yeah, now you can. After getting me to say everything for you."

Shadow really could not believe what her brother was like sometimes.

"Hmph. Anyways, Shadow, she asked both of us." Light turned back to Kendra. "Considering Shadow answered for me, I'll answer for her. She prefers comics. Believe it or not, movies actually freak her out."

Shadow did not like her brother revealing that. SL she punched him on the arm. Hard enough to hurt.

"Hey, I don't go around telling people stuff you don't want them to know. Especially people we've just met..." Shadow said grumpily.
"I was just answering her question."
"You didn't have to blab about stuff I don't like people knowing, though."

It was obvious that Light had upset her. Perhaps more than one would have expected. But he knew Shadow had had a hard time adjusting.

"The way Light said it made me sound rather pathetic," Shadow said to Kendra, now completely ignoring her brother. "Movie don't freak me out. It's just that we saw our first movie when we were 14, and I've only seen about 3 or 4 since than, so I find them a bit... weird..."

"Hi," Sylvia said as they stopped next to Prism and Celia. "My name is Sylvia Evans...though Evans isn't actually my last name..." that last part of her sentence, she ushered it as a mere whisper. It was nothing to be proud of, the fact that she was merely an orphan with no one to take care of her. Her attention mostly focused on the timid brunette who just sounded like she's afraid, in contrast to Prism. In the end though, Sylvia decided Prism was going to be far better company, one who wouldn't sully her mood, anyway.

"I don't know about superheroes or being involved in the superhero community, but if you want to look at it like that, I am a collaborative writer for cat boy's website." She winked towards Felix, before edging closer to Prism and sort of whispering what she said next, "well and his friend from Solar City...who couldn't make it here today." She gave Celia a quick glance, "but yeah, you are among like-minded people here. Eat, Drink and Enjoy!"

"You're the new journalist hired for the Rainbow Report," Prism said, "That makes you involved in the superhero community. I read your articles." Kinda because it's my website, but hey. She'd posted at least once on there as-Prism, looking for the girl from Sylvania. She could accept the Totally read your blog credit for now.

"It's nice to meet you in person, though, Sylvia," she added, with a smile. Like they hadn't met before. Yeah, I am totally getting the hang of this secret alias thing. I got this. "I'm looking forward to reading some more of your articles. Are you working on anything special you expect to release soon? Doing a write-up of this event?"

Teen Party and Lock In

THE MASTER OF UNLOCKING

Celia listened to the explanation about where she was, and who the people around were. "I..I'm sorry... I just... came here to hide because..." she stopped when she realized she was being too honest. she didn't know these people, and she was feeling comfortable for the first time that she could remember. She almost let things slip. "S...sorry... I.. I have to go..." she apologized again as she set the plate down, starting to move away from the table. She was scared

"What's her problem anyway?" Sylvia frowned as the brunette looked to escape from the table. Her full attention skipped back to Prism. Her words excited her. Prism knew who she was! And had been reading her articles. That was a honest to god pleasant surprise for the newbie reporter. She was new to this whole thing and hadn't had anyone tell her they read her articles before. "I hope you liked em!" Said the girl in the bat costume, enthusiasm in her voice, such as shown by her mannerism right now.

"Yes, and yes, I am writing articles I plan to have out soon, and I'd imagine by the conclusion of this party I'll have a lot to write about everyone here, you included. No spoilers tho!" Sylvia laughed, before grabbing a plate and picking up some desserts from the table. Of course she had stuff she had planned to write about. Dubois Athenaeum, Bloodhound, Felix...though, it was his own website. Sylvia had no idea how he would feel about that. She was going to have to ask him later. Lots of things were going down in the hero community everyday. The teenager kept her eyes and ears open for any juicy scoop she might be able to dig up. "Now that we are on the topic of reporting and journalism, I hope you wouldn't mind giving me the pleasure of asking you a few simple questions?" And maybe use this chance to actually find out about this girl's origins. She hadn't yet given over her suspicion that this girl could indeed be related to Felix's friend, Kelly.

"Me?" Prism blinked, momentarily stunned. "But... I haven't done anything." She'd done a few little things around Solar City... and that Sylvania thing. And Detroit, she supposed, but she hadn't done all too much there. She had no idea what her future would bring, of course. No one possibly could.

Still... she supposed that she was a hero, and if she wanted heroes to take the time to talk to people... be the change you want to see. "Um. Sure. I can answer some questions."

She still didn't think she was really all that qualified, but she wasn't going to be rude about it.

Tremor remained mostly quiet, engrossed in her pizza, but listening to Prism's stream of conversation. To most, her outgoing demeanor would have been infectious. It was practically impossible to not get at least a little bit excited at the prospect of a movie night with all their favourite childhood films. Through a mouthful of pizza, Tremor smiled her approval. But for whatever reason, Celia still remained unconvinced by Prism's insistence that she was totally awesome.

Another woman approached them, dressed up in a batgirl superhero costume, and introduced herself as Sylvia Evans. Not a hero, but a journalist. And just like that, Prism was making conversation again. Asking about news articles, complimenting her work, and agreeing to answer a few questions for an upcoming piece.

But despite all the friendliness and warm introductions, Celia still looked as on-edge as ever. She stammered out something that set off red flags for Tremor - something about coming here to hide - before hurriedly apologizing and excusing herself.

"What's her problem, anyway?" Sylvia asked.

Tremor frowned, concerned. "No idea..." That wasn't normal behaviour. Whatever Celia Rose's problem was, it seemed to be weighing pretty heavily on her. "Have fun with the interview, I'll find you guys later," Tremor said, excusing herself from the conversation between Prism and Sylvia.

Truth be told, she wasn't thrilled at the prospect of talking with a journalist. So far in her short career as a superhero, her actions hadn't been anything to be proud of. It was probably in her best interests to avoid the news if she could. No, instead, she put a few cookies onto her emptied plate, and walked back to Celia. "Hey, everything okay?" she asked, the concern in her voice genuine. "If there's some shit going on...I mean, if you want to talk about anything...How about we go find a quieter corner of the room somewhere?"

A lot of things we're going through her mind as someone came up to her and asked her if everything was ok... And it sounded like she was concerned. Was it really going to be ok if she told someone? Maybe she could tell someone her age... She nodded a little. "A..alright... She started for a quieter corner, looking down and wringing her hands nervously, thinking about what to say. "I can... Do something... That... My dad makes me do... Other was ok... Until his friends got involved... she said without really looking to see if the girl was there. She shook her head, taking a deep breath. "They forced me to help them rob a bank... But then people started showing up, and then I had a gun to me, and then these creature things came out of nowhere... But now the men think I had something to do with everything going wrong and one of them was following me which is how I ended up here and I don't know what to do or know if my dad and mom are ok and I don't want everyone who's nice to me to not be nice because of what I can do and..." she rambled on, everything coming out and she tried to keep from crying.

"Awesome," Sylvia exclaimed. Score! She thought. Sylvia hadn't exactly thought up the idea to like, ask anyone in the party for interviews, mostly because this was by extension a public event of its own. But now that she thought about it, she could in fact write about the experiences in the venue. Pretty sure an event like this would receive a lot of publicity. She had to keep her plate down, and take out her mobile phone. Man, she would have brought a voice recorder if she thought she would get to interview some folks. The girl let out a sigh. What's done is done.

Sylvia opened the recording application and started to record, "I think an introduction is due, wouldn't you agree? My name is Sylvia Evans and I'm a reporter currently writing for Rainbow Report. A splendid gathering. We may be young, and perhaps fresh in the water, but come tomorrow, we- you, are probably going to become the future protectors of mankind. Starting young, and all that," She was rough, a bit nervous too because she hadn't really gotten to interview an actual super who worked in the field to help people.

"What motivates you do what you do? As you and I know well, there are more people out there with even more diverse abilities than the heroes that gathered on TV..." She was referring to the instance when a giant robot came down in New York Square, heroes such as Magnetar, Anti Virus and Contrail. Though, of course she didn't forget the appearance of Luna Hawk and Capacitor. "...but you and others like you are the only people commited to bringing a positive change to the lives of people world over. This is in my opinion, an admirable quality. Wouldn't you agree?"
